I also have to add that when you are married to the stupidest woman in the world you need to tone down your intelligence to match hers. Also if you wife never tells you anything and keeps on lying to you than you have no alternative but to believe your eyes like when you see your wife meeting another man in the middel of the night or pictures of your wife marrying that other guy, or to your sister who gives you those pictures. This guy did not believe his sister when she wsa just ranting. But when your wife put syou in a position where there is no alternative but to belive your own eyes what is a person to do. "oh she just likes to meet men in the middle of the night by the river side", "oh she likes to put on wedding finery and playact marrying the same guy", ""oh she just left the kids to go meet the guy on karva chauth just for laughs", "oh she missed the kids function to go meet the guy and lied to me about it just for laugh". I would love to know how many women would trust their husbands if they told the amount of lies that Bani told and was shown proof of a wedding and saywtheir husbands in compromising situations with the guy.
I was amazed at Jai for standing in open court with pictures of his wife and another man in the hotel room when she is divorcing him to say I trust her not to do anything like this. That was just not human.
The one time he did not trust her was when he was shown pictures of her marrying Daksh on the day of the kids funeral. For weeks befoer that she has been lying to him and he has been catching her on those lies. But when you repeately catch her in lies going to meet a man who seems to have designs on her, especially on the night of Krva chauth, the same night the children get kidnaped when she leaves them to go meet the said man and on the day of the funeral you are shown wedding pictures and are told that she left the kids to meet the man, and wife admits to it, I don't know how any human is supposed to trust the other.
I truly believe trust is a two way street and when has Bani ever trusted Jai with the truth. All she had to say is he is my dead sisters husband and I want to help him. People complain that Jai listens to jigyasa, well she is the only one talking to him while Bani is lying and hiding. If a person is not told all the facts how is he/she supposed to take an intelligent decision.
