There are reports that a number of senior actors are unhappy with the direction the serial is taking and are contemplating leaving the show. Prem parts ways with the show Confirming his decision to leave the show Sharokh Bharucha said, "I have stopped shooting for the show on amicable terms." "Thankfully, there was no drama. They understood my situation," he said. Those following the show will be aware that in the last few weeks, Prem's character has hardly been around. However, Bharucha is probably the only actor who decided to speak his mind and reach a conclusion. Other actors preferred to keep mum about their opinion on where the show is heading. Recently, there was a buzz that Kareena (Kulraj) had raised concerns about the show on several occassions. Lost in translation Kareena post makeover, when things started going down hill Kareena Kareena started out as a comedy with the protagonist Kareena (Kulraj Randhawa) coming to Mumbai in search of a job. She joins Radio Curry as an RJ where she meets Prem (Sharokh Bharucha), who becomes her best buddy. She also starts working as a secretary on the basis of a white lie that she's a married woman. There she meets Tushar (Sandeep Rajora) and falls in love with him. What follows are a series of funny situations revolving around the premises that she's moonlighting as a married woman and has to constantly keep lying. Trying to get some help from Agent Varun in a cameo role Till this point the show seemed to be really funny. However, after getting some healthy ratings, the creative heads brought in a pregnancy sequence, which turns out to be a false alarm, a love triangle between Prem-Kareena-Tushar and loads of other situations, which never caught with the audience. "I used to be a die hard Kareena fan. But it's sad to see where the show is today. It has been dragged endlessly with boring plots and hackneyed situations. Kareena is now reduced to a sad and weepy character," says a viewer. Recently, heart throb of the telly screen Rajeev Khandelwal was roped in for a cameo appearance. Kareena's marriage with Tushar turned out to be a no-show The show also changed hands with writers and creative heads, which is when things went haywire. Sources claim Kulraj is unhappy that the show is turning out to be a soap opera and moving away from its original theme. The actors have internally voiced their dissent about the fact that the channel isn't doing any great promotion for the show as well. tushar.joshi@mid-day.com What lies ahead This is the track happening on the show tonight: After Kareena is kidnapped and comes back home, she realises that she is being accused of setting up the drama and sending Tribhuvan to jail. She also gets to know that Lolo has proved to Nilu and Tribhuvan that Tushar and she had got married. After realising she has to get back at Chamatkar, Kareena dresses up as a sardarji named Kooki Singh.

i was watching this show only because of prem he was the heart of the show te charm of the show i used to wait like mad for kareena kareena just to see prem but now !!!! tis is RIDIKULUS !!!! sori for mi emotional outburst im seriously crying rite now😭

OMG!!!!!!! I can't believe this is happening! Prem and Kareena were the only reason why I watched this show and now he is gone, why?! Damn it! I hope he comes back!

m very sad! i used to watch the show for Prem! other than karu.... will miss him, he had a wonderful role!

But i agree tht the actors are upset with the show now coz they hav turned a comedy into serious drama!... when will the tv ppl learn to keep things short and sweet..! instead of dragging the shows like chewing gum!!

In a way its good.. Prem wasnt given importance in the show so he managed to quit himself.. for the sake of his self-respect!... hope to c him in another show! will always miss ya PREM!! All the best to u dude!! no body can replace him in the show!!!

so after all the kareena kareena romance-comedy... after all kareena's white lies, lies, and misdemeanours, the director is a liar to the show's fans. fooled us into wasting our time watching what we thought to be a good show making it into a rotten drama... WHY?!?!!? dont they have brains, i mean chek out american comedy/sitcom friends, out of all their episodes only a handful were sucky. and 1 or 2 really bad. but KK has been experiencing a rapid downward slope. and mostly centred around 2-3 characters.

the only person who can make me laugh anymore on this show is PK ji.

very dissapointed in zeetv's choice of directors, they have and had a great cast, but one wrong writer/director ruined everything...

Yes, soooo sad. I'm totally with u harry potter. Prem was vanishing and now he's gone.😭 There is nooo chance of Kareena and Prem to be together.I hate the new writer/dierector he totally screwed up everything. He raised our hopes on Kareena and Prem, and then brought us back down w/ a crash!

By the way, where's Priyanka these days? i hope she hasn't quit either.
