Is Sashank really sorry??

In todays episode we saw Sashank saying he is Sorry and has and only wishes for Shiv and Gaurie to be happy. But when he was back at his old house he said it in his mind that he is sorry about the fact that 'Gaurie had to marry shiv unwillingly cos of him' and his look when he apologized to Shiv and Gaurie didn't look convincing enough. Do you guys think it is possible that Sashank has turned into an obsessive lover and wants Guarie back??? cos all the actions he took so far:
- Sending letter and flowers to Gaurie
- Video taping he outing with Shiv
- Finding info on Shiv and Gaurie
- Kidnapping their daughter and through her sending a letter to Shiv that he is back
- Visiting SG home and watching it from afar
- Telling Gaurie in his mind about how sry he is abt the fact that Gaurie had to marry Shiv unwillingly.
- After apologizing to SG turning back to look at Gaurie
The question to ask would be is he really sorry?? Is there a reason behind his apology??? Why is he so desperate for Gaurie to forgive him???
