Part - 20
"Shiv…..you are hurt. We can't do this now" she said trying to extricate her self from his embrace.
"No!" He said, getting back to his arrogant self.
"The nurse might come by to check on you. We can't do this now" Gauri said trying to get out of the bed.
"Please, Gauri. It's been long…don't ask me to stop now." Shiv said pulling her back into his embrace. Shiv felt her shudder against him.
"Gauri" he said hoarsely. "Shiv this is not a good idea…" she trailed off as Shiv hands brought her palms to his lips and kissed it.
"Shiv" she said softly, "Gauri, ask me to stop now" he said quietly knowing that she would not be able to.
"I can't…" she said burying her hands in his hair as he gathered her close against his heart…And then he kissed her with all the emotions that he had suppressed so far.
"Gauri" he whispered as his hands gently explored the gentle curves of her hips. His mouth descended and captured her mouth as she whimpered from his assault. A wild sob erupted from Gauri's throat.
Shiv couldn't help himself. His hands slid under her kurta, exploring the milky white skin. Gauri was loosing her senses as his hands traveled to places that were sensitive to his touch.
Gauri kissed him with the same hunger that she had felt when he had kissed her for the first time. Her lips gently laid kisses on his closed eyelids, his forehead, and his cheeks
Shiv could not take this gentle assault any longer. "Gauri, you better ask me to stop now or it will be too late" he said clenching his teeth.
Gauri looked up at his passion filled eyes and slowly came back to her surroundings. Her cheeks turned pink from what they had almost done at the hospital. Shiv looked at the blush that was spreading across her face and an impish thought came into his mind. He pulled her closer to him and whispered something naughty in her ears ."Cheee…. Shiv, this is not the time and place" she said coyly.
"So, you will do what I want.. after I get back from the hospital??" he asked looking at her with an arrogant tilt of his head.
"hmmm.." she murmured not daring to look at him
"I can't hear you…Sweetie…." He said with his eyebrows raised at her.
"I said …Yes!" she said not lifting her head to look at his eyes. She knew he would be flaunting a devilish smile on his lips if she looked at him.
"Well..Well….Look at this… I am telling you my secret fantasy and you are not even looking up at me" he said with a pout.
Gauri looked at him and with a little bit of anger she said, " I said Yes…Din't I….Once you are out of the hospital…" she couldn't finish what he had said earlier in her ears..it was too explicit for her to even utter the words back to him.
"You want me to finish the sentence for you?" he asked enjoying her blushes and her anger.
"Not necessary" she said with a huff
He pulled her back into his embrace"you are such an innocent Gauri" he said goading her a little bit more. He was enjoying this. As her eyes lifted and looked at him she saw the devilish lilt in his eyes.
Gauri knew how to get back at him.
"I am not an innocent anymore. Don't you know that..Wait till you get back from the hospital then you will see…" she said tracing her fingers across his lips becoming the sexy siren that he had glimpsed on occassion.
"ahaha..My innocent..let me see..let me see…" he said looking at her.
Gauri decided that she was going to knock his pants off when he gets out of the hospital. Just to wipe that arrogant smile off his face. She smiled a siren's smile as she thought about how she was going to surprise him. She will show him how bold she can be. She thought.
Anupam was pacing in his hotel room. Something was wrong between Shiv and his Gauri but he couldn't exactly put his fingers on it. He paced thinking about it. What was going on between those two??
As he stared at the picture on the wall he heard his phone ring. Absently, he picked up his phone, his thoughts still on the issue between Shiv and Gauri.
"Hello"
"Yes, Anupam here" he said listening to the receptionist voice who told him that there was someone asking for him.
"Please send him to my room" he said trying to figure out who would have wanted to see him at the hotel.
He waited for the person to come up to his room, thoughts about Shiv and Gauri momentarily forgotten, he wondered who would want to meet him. He came out of his reverie when a knock sounded on the door.
He opened the door, still wondering who might be on the other side when he was surprised to see the other person outside..
"you!!" he said surprised seeing him in his hotel.
"Yes! Me! Can we talk inside?" he said looking at the corridor.
"What about?" Anupam asked not interested in inviting him into his hotel room. He stood holding the door not letting him enter as he watched his eyes.
"I have some interesting news about your fiance, do you want to hear about it or not?" he asked with smugness. Anupam din't want to listen this guy but he also wanted to know what was going on with Gauri.
"Come in" he said as he walked towards the sofa in the suite.
"So, what is it that you wanted to tell me about Gauri?" he asked turning and looking at him before he sat down on the sofa. He wanted to get this over with.
"Well, can I get a glass of water before I tell you this interesting news?"
"Sure, Water is in the fridge over there" Anupam said pointing to a corner where the fridge was located.
He drank the water and turned around to look at Anupam. He could see that Anupam was impatient to get this over with. But, he wanted to savor this moment. He placed the bottle on top of the fridge and stared at Anupam.
"Go ahead. I don't have time" Anupam said looking at this watch pointedly.
"Well…." He paused, relishing the moment when Anupam was going to find about his cheating fiance
"Well…I wanted tell you about the affair that's going between your best friend Shiv and your fiance Gauri..right under your nose" he said watching for Anupam's reaction
