So you will be seen once again playing Pratham Mittal after Kutumb?
Yes, but this time Pratham Mittal is not a young boy. He is a grown up adult and a mature man and has changed his looks a lot.
Do you miss Kutumb and its Pratham Mittal?
Yes, of course I do miss it a lot as it has offered me my family, good work and almost everything that I am today. I got my recognition from Kutumb only…
Tell us something about the new Pratham Mittal.
Pratham Mittal is a business tycoon and also a very ruthless human being. His eyes are cold and no one can make out anything from his eyes. And yes, I am known as PM, which denotes night. So I have a dark shaded character basically.
Something about your new look.
We had tried about three hairstyles and finally we zeroed down on the third one, as Ekta wanted me to look totally different. She also wanted to shed away my sweet boy image, as I am playing a very strong and a manly role in Kasuati. I have also put on hazel lenses, which are brown honey in colour. It suits me and my new look, as my eyes play a very important part in this role.
What about your other serials? How do you manage your time?
See, being in the same production house benefits me, as I do not have to think much about how to handle my schedules. I do not have to think about it so much, as in Karam Apna Apna and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi my track is not there much or is very less. So, I can devote much time in Kasauti Zindagi Kay.
Will we see Gauri with Pratham again?
That depends on her, as she believes in doing one serial at a time. She is happy with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as of now but if something good comes to her she might pick it up. Currently, she is enjoying her yoga classes, Spanish classes and all the rest.
Ekta Kapoor normally gives lavish entry to the characters. What about your entry?
Yes, my entry too is in a very lavish way as first I am in a chopper then I come horse riding. And then in a temple walking in between fire!!

This shows that he has not quit KAA. His role is sidelined for the moment but Ekta will bring it into prominence as and when required.
