Ram: What's in his fate?

Hey all, I'm back… and with some food for thought… Yes, serious… I know, but miracles perhaps do occur you know… Now, read on with a calm heart.😳

When Ram's character was first introduced, we were all unsure as to what role he would play in the plight of Gauri's character. In later episodes, he was revealed as being a witted, and well-grounded individual. His persona was flattering in every sense, especially his comic timing. In several instances, he has made the distressing atmosphere divert itself into the object of our smiles and laughter. Personally, the "Dil Mein Baji Guitar" seriously still rings in my heart and is one that I shall always hold close.

Now, times have apparently changed and so have the characters' dimensions… including the beloved Ram. Currently, he is torn between love and hate – the two emotions inevitably pitted against, yet which reside in the same reservoir for centuries. He loves Shilpa, but is forced into a relationship with Palak, whom he knows is only using this bond as a way of revenge. Still, he accepts for the sake of his mother and the "kasamh" of Shilpa.

Now if you take the bubbly, self-confident, nonchalant and composed Ram from before and turn him over… You get perhaps, what he is depicted as now. A man confined to the restless relations, tied by the threads of different strength and length. He has made a decision… a decision to step over the beginnings of dreams he crushes walking towards "fate" in the form of Palak.

My question now is, what do you think of what has been done to Ram's character? Do you think this new transition in his role will do him better or will it only relegate him to the side as a "joru ka gulaam" or the overused "devdas"?

I have my own queries and concerns. Personally, I'm disappointed at the turn of events as I had really come to enjoy watching Ram as he was previously shown. From what I gather, he will now be shown to be a more "serious" individual, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. But it will certainly take away a lot from the beauty of the original character… I have some more thoughts, but would love to hear out yours first.

Cheers,

dc

Erm well his character has been changed a lot. From a fun loving chawl guy, he's now in his business suit and working for the Kapoor's. By working for the Kapoor's his life has changed a lot!! Palak hates him, but wants to marry him 🤢 He doesn't deserve her, he deserves better than her 100%. Since he joined the Kapoor's his whole character has changed a lot. He is always willing to help people..I think he'll help Gauri as well. 😃 But his personality has changed a lil..He's more focused. Ah what the heck....the creatives of KAA have messed around with the characters too much 😡

Guys... i too just love Ram's character..n infact watch this show just for him😳

But of lately ...there has been so less of him😡

But i dnt think there is much to worry about... i think Ram is gonna come back to his chirpy self soon... n teach Palak a really nice lesson... as we know this had happened in the movie Laadla!... so its actually Palak who needs to worry!!😆

N Palak too will emerge as a nicer person after all this...n be better suited for Ram😳

Common Guys... m sure Ram's character can never transform like for Devdas kinds!!🤢...m sure Ekta ji still have some sensibilities intact... n moreover Ram's character was introduced to add a fun element... so they DARE NOT spoil his adorable character!😆... n i really hope we get to see his dhinchak dances soon!!😆

neetu you chose the rite word here"fate"...

that makes me goes in flashback wat "fate"had in store for shiv and gauri...

shiv hated gauri as he loved ipshy but "fate"brought them together as husband and wife...but yrs later gauri's love has changed shiv ...

here too its the same happening with ram...he is in love with shilpa but he is getting married to the girl who hates him...

they will get married but as gauri was a simple girl and good at heart ,ram also possesses the same qualities...

crossing fingers here that the creatives doesnot change ram's character in a serious guy but keep the same fun loving guy he was in the beginning..he will change palak and hewill teach her a good lesson and make her respect him as her husband..

remember gauri told nikky wat if something like this happens to her daughter so i think there is some interesting track ahead once they are married..

but for now its shiv/gauri track about their divorce so we have to wait and watch..
