thanks for the compliment sweetie😳.. i read somewhere that ekta was impressed by yash and gauri's performance in nach baliye, and that's how she signed yash as shiv kapoor!!!😃

i like yash tonk a lot as an actor and i think he's fantastic. but i think that ekta wanted us, as audiences to accept yash tonk as we would iqbal khan. obviously the chance is very bleak because iqbal khan was a natural in his role as shiv kapoor and the arrogance he portrayed was really fit for him. when yash tonk took over, he portrayed more of a man in despair!!!

i think ekta did the leap in time to give shiv's character more depth and understanding. from now on, well will be more willing to accept yash tonk as shiv, especially now that he plays a father, because like a lot of you said, KAA feels as though it only just started. so as iqbal khan didn't play the role of a father to three naughty kids, we will be more accepting of yash's skills as an actor...

I second that! I don't think we could have accepted Iq as a pop somehow. He was this bold, arrogant and sexy guy ...an image far removed from that of a father of 2/3 kids ....as far as the sun is removed from the earth!

Yash is a better choice for this. Our biggest grouse that he doesn't dress according to his role is also laid to rest. He's got into his groove now.

Now. let's hope he works on that chemistry with Gauri!
