Ok, we've all had a lot of questions... Basically, what the whole purpose of Ipshita was, in the serial...Surely, they wont waste money to have a person just play a mediocre friend to the couple... That's what we have Anupam for...Logically this is what I can come up with...

Kundali says that Shiv will die soon... So he has to marry someone and live with her for a year, to remove the "dosh" in his kundali... Also mentioned in his kundali is that the wife will die.... Now I think Shiv and Ipshita are/were in love...So since Nikhila and Shiv must have not wanted anything to happen to Ipshita...He got married to Gauri, who would die within the year, removing Shiv's "wife murderer" 😕😕😕 kundali status and he would be free marry Ipshita...*pukes*

Think about it... Why do you think Ipshita was sooo encouraging about Gauri's staying...??? She wanted Gauri to stay the year and conveniently die at the end of it, so that Shiv and her could get married... 🤢

But as we see it now, I dont think Shiv gives a flying fudge about Ipshita anymore... It was quite evident that he was dying inside when Gauri left... I hope he is tortured and totured and tortured by her thoughts and guilt and that overwhelming sense of loss until he goes and tries to win her back... And I hope Gauri takes some time to make a decision, thus torturing him more! 😉

u r right ! now everytime Shiv tries to talk to Ipshi, the time spent with Gauri will be recollected ,so he feels guilty... those thoughts will torture him ,and finally he wants Gauri back in his life..

Poor Anupam, you've relegated him to the category of mediocre friend to the couple... I don't believe Hiten wud take up an insignificant cameo like that...

But yeah, Ipshita does have more of a role to play than just (supposed) cupid for our lovebirds. But what I don't understand, and which is still to be revealed, is why Gauri??? I can understand that maybe Shiv-Ipshi had a thing going and wanted to get married and stuff, but didn't wanna put Ipshi's life at risk, and hence the bali wedding... But why Gauri? Just because she had a balancing kundali? I'm sure there wud be quite a few other girls with compatible ones... Why pick on someone so close to the family, someone with whom you already have a relationship, if only in name... Thats the only part of the plot that doesn't make sense to me, that disturbs me...

You're so right!That could just be the reason why Ipshi was so kind towards Gauri and sort of 'helping her' to be together with shiv.But,I really pity Anupam.. 😭 😆
