Mahen looks clueless!

The scene bt Gauri and Mahen seems to suggest that Mahen was not involved in the conspiracy. The pain in his voice and eyes made me cry....I didn't cry or feel upset at any other period in the episode.

Mahen seems to love Gauri as a daughter and the fact that he might have been even indirectly responsible for her possible death gives him a lot of agony.

The scene bt the two was one of the most emotional I've seen in a while...no I must include Dadi's pain the day before. That was heart rending to watch as well.

Compared to that, the two main culprits, Nikhila and Shiv come across as conniving and callous, esply Nikhila.

I think, like some others have already suggested, that Ekta's purposely turning Shiv character into an evil one so that we won't miss IQ once he leaves!

Plus, she won't have to replace him with someone new as we'll all hate Shiv by then. That way the challu madam will save on the cost of employing one more actor. Smart, nah???

I still, somehow, have my doubts on Mahen...He may or may not be part of Nikhila's plan but he definitely has something else cooked up..He is just too good to be true..Plus, Ekta did call him a very important character of the show, so there's bound to be something up his sleeves..Let's just wait and watch what it is..

The scene between Mahen and Gauri did seem to show Mahen in positive light, like he hated to be a part of the whole ghastly plot, even if it was just by default. Nikhila didn't seem to have a word to say to Gauri, and overall was surprisingly callous, I say surprisingly, since I've been a Nikhila supporter till today, and her behaviour throughout was completely unexpected...

But Mahen looks clean for now... Unless the plot is even more convoluted than we can even imagine (the creatives imaginations leave ours far behind- since we try sticking to logical scenarios- they don't have any such inhibitions 😆 )....

yeah!! either Mahen is extremely guilty or he is ashamed of his family for doing this!!!

in either case my sympathies for Mahen!! a very good scene!!
