the world stood still, the earth stopped revolving everything had suddenly come to a halt for both shiv and gauri as they stood arrested by each other's eyes, and more so for gauri, she did nt understand a thing, the last time shiv came dis close to her, he told her dat he hates her and she cud see it in his eyes then but now his eyes were telling smthng else...smwhere deep in her heart she knew wat they were trying to tell but she was too scared to believe it.it was a very long moment and suddenly shiv said, " i love you ". the words brought her out of the trance.immediately, she pushed shiv and ran away without even looking back, she didnt know wat was happening, there were so many questions in her mind and she was very confused , more than all this she dreaded those words, for some reason they scared her.....shiv, on the other hand was surprised at gauri's reaction, he took it for granted dat she also loved him and now this reaction of hers, made him wonder abt her feelings for him.he sat thinking but cudnt understand why gauri reacted like dat and wat dat reaction meant. did she love him or did she not love him? wat if she didnt? wat if she refused to come back to him? these thots were very scary, he wud be lost without her. he cud not afford to lose her again. then he decided, if she loved him she wud realise it sooner or later but if she didnt, he wud make sure she did, he was shiv kapoor after all, gauri will see shiv kapoor who will now woo her, he was a master at dis, wooing a gal was a cakewalk for him- shiv kapoor. the next morning he went to gauri's office, he learnt she did not turn up work. why? wat cud be the reason? was it yesterday's effect? wat wud she be thnking abt him now? last nite's incidents have replayed in her mind several times now, shiv saying, "i love you" , the words were still ringing her head, she cudnt sleep last nite, she knew she wudnt be able to concentrate on work, so she decided to take the day off. she was silently leading her life, making her self immune to her past and suddenly shiv comes from nowhere and says these things,dis had left her disturbed.she didnt know for how long dat person had been knocking, but she just responded. she went and opened the door, to see shiv standing in front of her, her immediate reaction was to close the door on his face and run away and hide herself from him, but she let him in, and asked ramu kaka to get them some tea. they were both sitting and she didnt say a word as usual. for a change even he kept silent and did not say a word, it was a very awkward situation for her as he simply kept looking at her w/o saying a word, his eyes clearly showed he was seeking an explanation. she felt as if she were under strict vigilance and cannot escape his gaze, she was not looking into his face as she feared she wud be arrested by those eyes again. ramu kaka brought tea, she offered him tea and said, "ji,chai". he silently took the cup from her, still looking at her the same way he had been looking at her yesterday, with dat passion , dat desire, she felt as if his eyes were penetrating thru her, deep into her and she felt like she had no shield to stop those penetrating looks...fianlly, she broke the silence
g:"ji kuch kaam tha?"
s(seriously):"nahin"
g:"toh aap yahaan..itni subah"
s(in his caharcteristic cool n casual manner):tumhe dekhne ka man kar raha tha, isliye yahaan aa gaya
g(surprised): ji.....???
s(in the same cool tone):yeah, maine bahut koshish ki lekin iam unable to get you out of my mid, isliye aa gaya
(poor gauri, was perplexed she didnt know wat to say)
s:oh come on gauri, tum itni uncomfortable aur awkward kyun feel kar rahi ho? main sirf tumhe dekh raha hoon, kuch aur thodi kar raha hoon....
(she was still shocked, she never heard shiv speaking like dis to her)
saying that, he came close to her and sat right beside her, moved close to her and told in her ear secretly, "waise main tumhe kiss bhi karna chahta hoon" dis was an absolute shocker for gauri, she looked at him all shocked
he stood up as if he was about to leave and said,
s:"lekin tum bahut uncomfortable ho,kiss karoon toh kya pata shaayad behosh ho jaao, isliye woh risk main lena nahi chahta, toh ab ke liye chod deta hoon, lekin main tumhe kiss karoonga, trust me" saying this he winked at her and walked away blowing a flying kiss at her. gauri was totally surprised at shiv's behaviour, he never spoke to her like dat before, wat was he trying to do?, she failed to understand.....
