confused

hey i live in england and i'm folowoing it in england i just don't understand i thought gauri was marrying shasank why is she now marrying shiv?

cuz the guy didnt show up on his wedding day...

so mahen forced shiv to take his place...as he didnt want gauri to be left alone at the mandap...he threaten shiv that if he doesnt marry her...palak and him will get nothing from the property and shares...

so shiv had to marry her...and she also accepted her fate and went along with the marriage...

but later we see shashank with a guilty face...seemed kinda hopeless...seemed he wanted to marry her...but cudnt...he was saying sorry to gauri from far....he left her a letter as well...but b4 she cud get to the letter....the letter was burnt by sum1.....we dont noe who burnt the letter yet....it wasnt shown...

so yeah...thas how they ended up getting married..
