This episode was a turning point in many aspects. Alok faints when discovering that Shiv and Gauri spend the night in two different rooms. Shiv and Gauri deceive him, and Alok continues to believe that his Gauri is happy. I think this deception will go on for a long time. Alok might return to Kolkatta tomorrow, and he might have to drag Sudeshna and Debodatta with him because those two will not be wanting to leave the comforts of the Kapoor household. But I might miss Maya putting Sudeshna in her place.
The episode started off with misunderstandings being cleared up about where the non vegetarian food came from. What Ipshita did was really nice, but still her character is one to watch for. I don't think she is negative but I think she might unwillingly fall in love with Shiv, she might not try to intentionally hurt Gauri. But anyways we also found out that Shyla is having continued problems with her husband Daksh, and we find Gauri over hearing their phone conversation. This is an indication that Gauri and Shyla will come close, Gauri will be Shyla's moral support, in that regard Vivan devarji and Gauri Babiji will become quite good friends. This might annoy Shiv. Shiv and Gauri scene was cute. Shiv's character is unique in the regard that he is not like other bad boys who absolutely don't have a heart. He has a relatively good heart, we saw that when he helped Kaya and payed her hospital dues. When Shiv put his hands over the shoulder of Gauri and they looked at each other, that truly was a Kodak moment, which is the sign of things to come. The hospital scene was very emotional, and I loved the way Gauri was shaking her head and Shiv looking at her changes his words. This shows that despite his darkness and abusive language towards her, he still has a heart. The pen scene was very emotional. I can't help but think what Alok said was so true, it was a great dialogue, thumbs up to the writers. Because it is truly easy to say a lie especially about how you feel, but when you have to write that down, it is much harder to lie because words on a paper are there for you to see and play on your conscience and it makes it much harder write lies. I think this pen is very symbolic, as Shiv will have to make some important decisions in the future. He will for sure truly think back on Alok's words and change his mind on whatever he is doing and eventually do the right thing. Last scene was also a turning point in terms of Shiv's oath to kick Gauri out of the house by the ones she loves, and also he has decided to act as a good husband. This might create some great scenes between him and Gauri in front of the family even if they are fake.
Overall a great episode with many revelations and oaths taken. Excellent performance by Iqbal and Pallavi, they are exceptional at their performance because without saying much, they show so much emotion in just their expression of the face and eyes. Pallavi is very good at the eyes they have so much emotion and sadness. Her eyes are large and clear so she acts very well with them.
