Star Vijay is brazing up to lift the bar in the fiction front with the launch of its new serial 'Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai' at 1900 hrs during the weekdays (Monday to Friday) in place of 'Mahabaratham'. After having succeeded in mega-series, Vijay TV is launching yet another romantic family drama series.

'Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai' is a story about two people who start off as sworn enemies but are brought together by their common move for a child. The show is a remake of the popular serial on Star Plus titled 'Ye Hai Mahobbatein'.

Story:
"Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai" based on love, hurt, human emotions and family values. Priya Unnikrishnan is a loving and caring person whose warm and understanding nature makes her lovable by everyone. She is a 'Keralite' and has spent most of her life in Chennai with her parents and is a dentist by profession. She enjoys working in her own clinic and especially loves kids. She moves into a new apartment with her parents. Everything changes when Priya saves the life of a small girl Pooja, Arjun Swaminathan's daughter. Arjun is a brooding CEO who has lost faith in love after a bitter divorce. Arjun and Priya do not get along as Arjun's don't care attitude creates more problem between them. The story progresses to portray Arjun and Priya's budding relationship as they begin to understand, respect and support each other.

Cast and Crew:
The star cast of the serial consists of a number of new faces to the serial world. Priya and Amit are the main leads while other roles are portrayed by known faces like Kuyili, Sadhana, Vishwam, Ravishankar, Manoj, Vaishali, Nandhini, Lokesh and many others. The serial is directed by Thai Selvam, cinematography by Ramesh Kumar and dialogue by Marudhu Shankar.

"Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai" launches on 03 November 2014, airing Monday to Friday at 1900 hrs, a must watch romantic family drama.
