It might be a hit but not a rage as KZK 1. Folks of my generation hate it yes, including yours truly... Coz it did ruin our childhood lol.😆 But KZK's concept of "love alone is not enough for a marriage" is evergreen and the original is a cult show. EK can present the concept in a more contemporaneous way but going by the promo, she is just going to repeat the same thing and I am so not in favour of that.

Remakes can never touch originals and this show has three iconic characters. Erica has that understated theherav but she is no match to Shweta Tiwari... And I feel no one should even touch Ronit Roy's Rishabh Bajaj... Unless Ekta presents these characters differently, which I doubt. Overall another mess from Balaji camp and people who have seen the original are going to constantly compare and diss it. But producer will earn her profit and actors will enjoy some popularity.

Was good to hear Chahat ke safar mein again. Always loved the song.

Agree with ya both. Channel and creative team just did not understand what the audience wanted from this show... Tho the ratings during the wedding should have given them the hint. They took some stupid creative calls while screenplay writer adds to the misery with her even worse plot ideas and confusing episodes/character reactions.

The only place where director answered with conviction was when asked about the actors.😆 Everyone knows that the show has deviated big time from what it had promised and TBH these days, there is no connect and coherence between two weeks... let alone b/w what the show was when it had started and now. Director will obvio find it tough without continuity in writing. I had noticed Arjit's disappointment in JB as well and with the way his character and the show is being written, can't fault him!!

Of whatever I saw, tho difficult to understand then, the Anurag-Prerna-Bajaj dynamic was handled maturely... It will be so difficult to redo all that again coz obviously writers have changed and TRP demands of today's times. It might well turn into another "Bhagya". 😆

Was prem played by KVB? I remember Jenny from second gen and she was great there.
