Kaleerein just randomly switches on to "meaningful" and "subtext" in midst of overall madness. The stage scene was one such.

An irony of sorts, V is asked by his "mom" as to who would he choose among SKA girls...girls trained by his mother herself to be the perfect "wife". He is dismissive of the shallowness and instead suggests that marriage means much more. His lines reg. "aur bhi rishte..." was all for his mother and she gets it as well. In all probability she wanted to be the perfect mother but will her son ever see that?

However, when he is questioned on why he married Meera... he talks about her individuality beyond any marital expectations or relationship tags.

But then what to make of his behavior otherwise? Hope writer ji bothers explaining his self contradictory, confusing behaviour in upcoming epis.🥱

That is what I am saying na. Audience deserve more clarity. We all can understand the state here but what is stopping writers from showing some self-reproach? Going by updates, we had the OLV bouncers scene play out and i am assuming they didn't show anything to this effect. It would have been palatable, if not justifiable, had they inserted a scene where he is angry on his self for having done that but angry at her too for his own reasons. Par nahi... kuch nahi. BV is more interested in time pass than exploring characters arcs. They might have a new brief but this lack of reflection is making their ML look more 'inhuman' than 'beastly'. PRESENTATION is the key! 🥱

Like is was implied on Twitter, Kaleerein writers seem to performing a strange experiment on the viewers and the behaviour of both leads can be puzzling to say the least.

🤣 Well the screenplay does not stop to focus on anything... not even separation scenes as per today's update. Nothing will create an impact in such a patchwork job. Only Romaali monologues get slow steady SS. 😛

I know I read that too... narrative experiment.😆 What if they are deliberately keeping such scenes understated because viv is doing a P2P?

I have had enough of Zee TV and the writers trying to show only women as saviors, it is an insult to fathers and sons who also play an important part in our lives. Equality means equal, not pitting one against another.

I want MeerVaan to be shown equally strong and assertive ! 😊

I agree yaara. The change has been recent and abrupt. We were told it was a love story. What is a love story when they don't explore emotions of both the leads? Suddenly Meera's equation with BOTH of her saas is of utmost importance. But what about the couple? Sample this... VK drops Meera off to maayka and you have the next day all of a sudden. He felt NOTHING?

Even if its a zee thing... I wish the writers made it less jarring. Few monologues to get across his POV/confusion and avoiding situations like involving him in that find-the-phone nonsense would help.

Only hope is that they will at least reveal reasons behind last week's actions in flash backs. P2P can actually make these characters appear more credible.
