Till now Vivaan has been portrayed as emotion less person. A person who loved to live in his own shell.
Roma too in her monologue said, Vivaan is like a Robot, all she meant was he is emotionless. A person who loves to rely on his brain rather than heart!
Even Amaya told Vivaan, though you are a good brother, u gurad your emotion so well, even though you have a good heart, people feel you are emotionless.
As per my POV, Vivz has a major baggage of his past!! His emptiness due to lack of mother's love.
He is sensitive about it, he felt betrayed bcause his mother abandoned them. Amaya always had Vivaan, but Vivaan never had anybdy. Roma is more like mentor/teacher for teaching, disciplining him. He lacked the motherly love/care. He is strong, bcoz he has built a shell around him so that nobody can see through it. Meera is the one never cared about his outer shell!!
When the closed room claustrophobic attack happened, that time I said, i have seen the most "unromantic hug". It was indeed unromantic, bocz Vivz didnt had any actual romantic feeling for Meera. He found shelter in Meera.
For the first time he found shelter in somebody, a shoulder on which he can lean.
During his illness, he searched for Meera, bcoz she is his shelter.
In our lives, everybody has a pillar of strength!, be it mother/father/friend/wife/ etc.
Till now Vivaan has always been the strength, to Amaya as a big brother, to Roma as earning machine!
Vivaan himself never had a shoulder to lean to. Meera is his first!!
First Outburst
So, small things of her started having huge impact on him. When Meera started defending his mother on the fateful day, he kept quiet and tried to reason it out, but when Meera started blaming him as a "bad son" he couldnt control himself.
He couldnt control his wrath and raised his hands because its his emotionally most sensitive area. And secondly, it was coming from Meera. Anybody else, he could have put his cold shoulder, but not Meera, he simply can't ignore her.
But the moment he raised his hands, he repented. Running behind her, injuring own hands were just some ways to repent his own actions!!
But deep down, he aware that he needs to make things right.
Second Outburst
For him now a distant Meera is unbearable. The more she tries to distant herself, the more he wll try to come close to her. Holding her hands while removing bike was just an example how badly he want her to forgive him.
I believe this is the first time, he is thinking from his heart instead of brain.
When all possible means to make peace with Meera exhausted, raw emotions of loosing Meera clouded his brain. He lost his control over his own self and unleashed his deeply harbored feelings as outburst
The same person will calm down and return to his shell once he gets Meera back. It might be actually difficult for Meera to understand Vivaan clearly!!😳😆
Although Meevan is yet to walk on the path of Love, yet they have already become each other's strength. For Vivaan, Meera is his emotional pillar of strength!!😳
