My 2 pence worth of thoughts...
What an epi! No wonder Sree was gushing.
If we look at Kaaliren as a show from beginning till now (I don't remember Anj mentioning I hv missed anything spectacular in between... and I still haven't watched the earlier episodes) but this was probably their first complete epi on all levels. Wether we look at the acting, emotional flow, keeping the essence of characters intact, maintaining the original story, everythng was just spot on! Even SM lipstick and selfie - ing at the camera wasn't in overdose!
Nothing in life is PERFECT so how can a daily be?
Yet despite this they managed to hit the spot with this epi.
I cannot believe there was no promo for this long awaited track!
[To me it felt like a combination of the mehendi pinning scene, when she falls on him in the store room, haldi bath, do pal, Janam dekhlo and eye contact after the PP scene together]
I found Vivaan's anger justified.
Remember it's his MOTHER. Not just ANY woman.
We don't know until this happens to us how we'll react. Thats why life and people aren't seen as black and white but many shades of grey. What looks innocent to me is gruesome for someone else.
Although he expressed it as HATE it was RAW pain and yearning of a child craving his mother like the last drop of life.
He may have been young when they separated but he'd spent the lengthier time with her compared to Amaya therefore the more memories, love, togetherness hence the greater the hostility, rage, disbelief, feeling of immense betrayal that she could actually LEAVE them like that! That they were worth only this much in her eyes to be discarded as her emotions dictated. I know we don't know the bg story..CV better NOT fail here... very few, if any, child or person rarely accepts this form of betrayal from their near and dear and can forgive/forget so easily as the wound is very deep and bitter.
Time maybe the best healer because time teaches you to accept the pain and trudge along.
I loved how in words, actions he clearly draws a line between himself and SM... but even better was how he sent her to Hell with his replies of what he's going to do now!
Coming to MeeVan - im astonished at their mature progress! Despite the raging turmoil in him, his search for Meera, finding her, seeing her brought him peace. So beautifully shown. I like the respect and acknowledgement of his fault by not getting irritated with her. I think they both know they're in this deep hence the reminders of "when I return to London" more for themselves than the other!
I agree with Sree there was a vast difference in Meera's expression over her victory - she's begun to accept his presence in her life... He's sinking fast too ... so He's going to use whatever he can get his hands on to keep Meera distant and Mother dear will do the honours of being one of those barriers he erects!
There was just something about this epi. .. it pushed MeeVan dynamic to a sublime level, above the compromise, forced marriage, hby wife relation, friendship etc etc It touched the tip of the soul mate connection for me today...they've finally ventured onto this subconscious journey!
Well done Team Kaaliren
Meera was DEFINITELY wearing Kaaliren on her ears..Question is why?!
Does Vivaan ONLY have a BEDROOM in his section - that's the only place he's seen in?
