Ravi's mother character?

Ok guys I think this deserves a separate post because o feel his mother is quite complex she's not too positive nor is she negative! She's greedy no doubt but the way she looks after Devika looks really genuine! Yesterday the way she handled nivi hats off to her and I hope it's not all for money! What you guys think of her character?

Yea.. most of that treatment I think comes from the fact that she doesn't want Devika to divorce Ravi (considering the circumstances they married each other in the first place) but I have a feeling she is definetly a sem-negative character who will turn positive as time goes on. I just love her comic timing and nok-johk with Savitri dadi.. she does those cat fight scenes really well

Right now its all about property for her and thats why she is treating Devika like a princess but it remains to b seen if her behaviour changes towaeds Devika once she realises that she wont get Devika's property or once Nivi shows her greed of money ...

I really hope CVs dont make her out and out negative .. I sort of like the way she gives it back to Saket and Dadi and also the way yesterday she stopped Nivi from entering Ravika's room ./..

Although I like Ravi's mother for pampering Devika...her antics are hilarious n the actress playing her is ptobably the best actor in the show apart from dadi...

However she comes across as typical mean-minded mothers-in-law who do divide n rule policy between two bahus...
Granted Shweta is not good n I really like it when she scolds Shweta for her misdeeds like in that Kheer scene.
However there are times wen Shweta does nothing wrong n yet she misbehaves with her...
For example...wen Ravi's mother comes back from Karva Chauth, n Shweta is standing there with a smile, she practically yells at her n insults her in front of relatives for tea...
The same thing could have been said nicely...at least wen Shweta is not doing anything wrong, there is no need to yell at her...


So...lets see. Her real face will come out after Devika refuses to give her property.

she is really interesting.

From today's episode.. it is pretty much clear that she is really a grey character.. forcing Devika into a situation where her family has to give dowry they can't really afford..

Like she said today.. "In front of money and property.. nothing matters to me, not even Ravi and Devika's marriage nor Monty and Sakashi's marriage"

The only thing I am hoping that will happen in the future is Ravi's love for Devika will overcome her greed and she will turn into a good character. What I really like about Kalash is that it is not a cliched saas-bahu serial... of course there is some tension there but there is more of a love story and faith in Ambe Maa story which really appeals to everyone

I also have a feeling that Ravi might be adopted... (someone mentioned it in one of the earlier episodes but Ravi denied it) I think when that truth comes out.. it would be really interesting to see how it effects this really nice and sweet side of Ravi and how Devika will help him cope through the crisis of knowing this.

I want to see obviously grey Manju and the Ravi adopted track but also see at the end Manju turning into a positive character too... the storyline in the middle is for the Kalash writers to figure out 😛 but like I said this will satisfy everyone who loves Kalash for what it is (love and faith) as Ravika help each other when adopted track kicks on and also it will make saas-bahu lovers happy as they will see it throughout a lot of the episodes. Of course everyone will be satisfied with the happy ending of Manju turning positive..
