Yes, Manik drunk vinegar along with her. And before this scene, the message that Nandini had sent to Manik was something about her ill health. I believe, upset stomach or vomiting. I hope I am not wrong. And thus he gets the icecreams.

I don't know about being the look of child looking at his mother but definitely a hint of innocence to his eyes.

hahaha.mein toh kuch aur kehne wali thi.sometimes i really didnt know how to convey some thing i thought.so i will use some words.but meaning will chenge.
