I reached home after 30 minutes; thankfully I didn't kill anyone with my rash driving. But as soon as I entered my house my hurricane of anger went out of control and I started breaking everything that caught my eyes. Within 15 minutes my house was a complete mess with broken glasses, ripped cushions, broken curtain strings. Couch, carpet, table nothing was in one piece. It looked no less than a war zone. But it still wasn't enough to calm me down. I was itching to punch that asshole..No, not just a punch, I wanted to kill him. How dare he do that to me. Nandini Murthy won't spare him.
"Oh God! What have you done?" breaking my chain of thoughts, I turned towards my dad who looked ..umm upset I guess.
"Dad!" I ran towards him and started crying like a kid.
"Shhh..What happened? Did anyone say something wrong to you?" He asked with voice full of concern but I kept crying.
"You are scaring me now..please tell me what happened?" He hugged me to make me feel better.
"D-Dad!" I sobbed and wiped my nose with the back of my hand. Umm..I know that was so not me but I was too upset to think about my actions.
"Come sit here first" He made me sit on the couch - that no more looked like a couch - and fetched me glass of water.
"Dad.. He-He humiliated me dad. He's very bad" I said after taking a sip, still crying. Dad's eye's shot up as I mentioned Him'
"Who? Oh God! Why didn't you tell me" I looked at him all confused as he continued "I mean if there was a guy you could have told me before. We are friends right"
"NOOO! You are getting it all wrong.. I would prefer to be single my whole life than getting linked with that down market guy.. Dad you hadn't seen him.. His clothes were so cheap and out dated as if he has been transported from eighteenth century.. so horrible his dressing was..and I.. Nandini Murthy would have something for that shit? Are you kidding me?" I made a yucky face talking about his dressing sense.
"I've never seen you noticing a guy to this extent" Dad looked surprised "Was he good looking?" Hell YES!
"EWWW! He and good looking..NO WAY..HE..HE..He was.." I was unable to find the right words to describe Him.
"He was what?" Dad looked curious. Grrr, I was so irritated with myself. Why am I unable to find flaws in him? It angered me even more.
"HE'S A f**kING STUPID IDIOTIC ASSHOLE..HE RUINED MY IMAGE..HE HUMILIATED ME INFRONT OF EVERYONE..I JUST WANT TO KILL HIM" I said in one go whatever came out as my frustration.
"You mean after doing all this, he's still ALIVE?" He looked stunned. Well not his fault.
"Unfortunately YES" I replied flaring my nose. I closed my fist so tight that my nails were digging in my palm.
"Ok first tell me what he actually did that you are craving for his blood" He asked, grabbing my hand and making me open my fist.
I told him all that happened since the morning. My fight with angels, a lab assistant ruining my dress and last but not least, Me..Nandini Murthy..The Nandini Murthy.. being humiliated by an intimidating asshole. He had a frown on his forehead when I started, as I continued his expression changed into an amused one which by the end turned into a shocked one.
"You.Said.Sorry..I mean YOU SAID SORRY?" Not knowing what to say more, I just nodded, not looking at him. Oh God! Why me..this is so embarrassing..where should I hide myself..may be behind the curtains.. but they are already kissing the floor..stupid curtains!
"That's a first" I can't believe that my dad.. MY DADDY DEAREST isn't bothered about the fact that an a random asshole humiliated me. In fact, he looked amazed. That Asshole gave me another reason to screw him. They didn't even meet yet and my dad is already on his side. What if he took my dad away from me? No I can't let this happen. He is my dad, Only Mine. Mukti told me once that if something doesn't go the way you've planned then try emotional blackmailing. And I knew what I have to do next.
"Dad! You don't love me anymore.. A guy humiliated me and instead of taking my side you look happy about it.." to add more spice to it I sniffed. And BAM my dad's expression changed immediately. He moved his hands towards my face and I moved back. He looked hurt. I don't like hurting him but I have to save him from that asshole's spell. I can't lose my dad. He's the only one I have.
"Princess, I'm sorry if you felt that way.." but I didn't budge. He sighed and asked me what I wanted him to ask "Okay.. tell what do you want me to do to prove that I love my princess" He cupped my face and I let him this time.
"Just throw him out of the college.. I can't risk seeing him again, it will remind me of what he did to me" Dad thought for a moment about it. His expressions were saying that he doesn't want to do this, but as I pleaded with my teary eyes, he agreed.
"You know that I don't like being unfair to other but still I'm doing this just for you" I gave him a big smiles showing all my 32 teeth.
"I love you..I love you..I LOVE YOU SO MUCH" with that I kissed him on his cheek.
"Love you too..now go and change your clothes..you look a complete mess right now" I completely forgot that I'm still wearing that stained dress so I went to take shower. In shower my mind kept playing that incident again and again. I touched my arms where his hands were a few hours ago I caressed that patch but when I recapped what he did, I rubbed that part so hard that it turned red. That guy is a bad news. I need to get him out of my mind. I can't let him control my mind like this.
After shower I felt much better, at least it helped me remove his touch from my body. That dirty...
"Baby?" My thoughts were interrupted by my maid's voice
"What?" I asked, not looking in her direction.
"Your friends are here" Angels? What are they doing here?
"Tell them I'm sleeping" I don't want to meet them. They are my angels but still they defended that bitch Soha. I'm so mad at them
" Don't lie ok" I heard Mukti's voice and turned towards door. I found Mukti, Alya and Navya on the door with a teddy. He's so cute; but I can't melt so I turned my back towards them.
I heard their footstep approaching me but I didn't move..
"Babyyy we missed you!!" Said Alya in her sweet sugary voice but I didn't reply.
"Still mad at us" Navya asked and I just nodded my head without looking at them.
"Okay sorry!" Mukti sat in front of me holding her ears. Awww my angel looked so adorable but I won't show it on my face. They should know that I'm hurt.
"You know I used to think you guys love me but that's not true"
"It's not like that, we.." I didn't let Alya complete.
"No, That is True.. after dad it's only you guys who I love, but you guys defended Soha..Seriously Soha..even after knowing how she is" I demanded answer.
"That's not true, we didn't say that to defend Soha. We know that dumb bimbo deserved this punishment" said Mukti in a pleading tone.
"Mukti is right, we said that because we didn't want you in trouble..we are just concerned for you babes" Navya paused for a moment and placed her hand on mine, "Sorry if you felt otherwise. Please smiles now" but I turned my face away. It's not easy to convince me, I'm Nandini Murthy after all.
"I know how to make her smile" saying this Mukti started tickling me and I started laughing. That's how our fights come to an end. How can I be mad at my angels. I love them.
"Oh by the way, Everyone was talking about the morning incident..what happened? I mean with that guy" Navya asked with curiosity *sigh* See..I was happy a few moments ago but they had to bring Him up in our conversation to screw my mood.
"Don't talk to me about him, I've already had enough madness since morning..I need peace" I said gritting my teeth.
"Okay okay I'm sorry relax..I asked so that we can plan a revenge on him" Okay Nandini calm down they are your angels. Don't get mad at them because of that monster.
"Don't you guys worry..my dad will deal with him" I ended my statement with an evil grin.
Next Morning
"That's it?" I asked looking at the papers in my hand.
"Yes" Dad answered sitting next to me.
"But his form is not there? Are you sure you haven't left any form."
"No Nandini, these are all the forms"
You guys must be thinking what's happening here. I'm in my dad's office right now going through all the application forms of newcomers but I can't find his picture on any of them. How could it be possible? Apart from students and staff no one's allowed to enter college premises. Was I imagining? Oh God! No..He was there..my arms still have those marks of his fingers.
"Nandini, you clearly remember his face?"
"Of course dad!" how can I forget that sexy face..huh? Sexy face? No..I mean ugly face? Focus Nandini Murthy focus. I cleared my mind and continued "How can I forget the dirty ugly face of that stupid asshole of a monster" Dad's eyes widened at my description. He shook his head in disbelief and laughed a little.
"I have never seen you so affected by a guy" He said raising an eyebrow; and I could do nothing but roll my eyes.
"He might just be visiting on permit." Dad made a point. But Visiting? NOOO!! I need to settle scores with him. He can't just get away with what he did. I can't let him go without paying for what he did. I need to find him and chop his..umm..never mind.. I just have to find him somehow. I closed my eyes to think of a way out, but instead the image of those deep brown eyes staring at me appeared in front of my eye. I opened my eyes with a jerk and shook my head. No.. no.. no.. no.. I don't think finding him is a good idea. That guy has ability to control my mind even in his absence. If he came in front of me then I can't even imagine what will happen. One insult is enough for this lifetime. I just hope to not face him ever again. But what will people think that a guy humiliated me and I let him go so easily. Nandini Murthy will become a laughing stock. But if he was just visiting then students might not even know him, so they'll forget him in a few days and things will get back to normal..hopefully.
"I just don't want to see his face ever again."
