Chapter 3

They settled down in the dining room and started eating. Nandini was sitting between Raj and Ashutosh (Nandini's father) while Manik was sitting in front of her.

Everyone were eating while Manik was busy trying to figure out his feelings for Nandini. Cabir noticed that Manik was not eating but instead he was deep in thoughts.

''Manik why are you not eating?'' Cabir asked but Manik was still deep in his thoughts so he didn't hear him.

''Manik?'' Cabir called him again and when he didn't reply, Nandini kicked his leg from under the table, breaking his chain of thoughts.

''Ouch. What the hell who kicked me?''Manik asked rubbing his leg.

''Your jaan.'' Neyonika replied with a smile.

Manik looked at Nandini with anger but his anger disappeared when he looked at her making an innocent face. He smiled and started eating.

''What? That's it? You won't say anything to her?'' Veebha asked and Manik just shook his head in no and started eating.

Manan's parents and Cabir smiled.

Nandini just kicked his leg again and when he looked at her, she sent a flying kiss.

''Well now that we are done eating, Raj and I have to go to meet a client.''

And they left.

''Hum yahan bacho ke bich kya karenge? Let's go somewhere Neyonika.'' Shradha (Nandini's mother) suggested to Neyonika and they left.

The rest went in the living room.

''I'm bored, let's play truth and dare.'' Mukti said and all agreed.

They all sat in circle and Mukti started the game.

''So Dhruv truth or dare.''

He thought for awhile before replying.

''Dare.''

''Okay so grab a broom and do your best tango.''

''I'll tell Pushpa to get the broom.''

After a minute Pushpa came with the broom and Dhruv started doing tango with it.

Everyone were laughing and Cabir recorded it and posted it on Instagram.

''Okay my turn. So Nandini truth or dare?''

''I think I won't like your dare so I'll go with truth.''

''Smart girl. So how and with whom was your first kiss?''

Manan looked at each other and burst into laughter.

''It was with Manik. I think we were 5 year old back then.''

''What?'' Veebha exclaimed.

''Yeah. We had seen a movie where the couple kissed and they said that it was magical and it made us curious so we kissed.''

''And how was it?'' Cabir asked.

''All I remember is saying that it was okay.''

''Oh come on, we both know that was a lie as I am an amazing kisser.''

''Shut up Malhotra.''

''Let's just continue the game.'' Veebha interrupted Manik who was about to reply to Nandini.

''My turn. Manik truth or dare?'' Alya said.

''Truth.''

Just then Nandini got a call and she excused herself.

''With whom would you like to have your last kiss?''

''Nandini.''

Before anyone could react, Nandini came back and they continued their game and didn't say anything.
