Chapter 11-Gathering Her broken pieces! She...Me and US!
Manik's POV...
There was no hint of recognition in her eyes..
No!..

Did I lose her??
I lost my Nandini??
"Nandini it's me! Your Manik??" I said in a low tone and there was no change of expressions in her eyes..
"I am your Manik!" I said choking with tears and stressed on 'your'..
"Ma-manik??" She stuttered and a tear dripped off my eye...
"Man-nik?" She again spoke as if trying to remember me...
"Yes! Your Manik! The same for whom you were shouting a few minutes ago!" I repeated again and suddenly her eyes looked familiar..
"My??" She asked innocently and this time I couldn't resist the urge of
tears..
"Yes! Yes honey! Your! Only yours!" I said lowly as the tears wet my cheeks all the way...
She once again started staring at me and I saw the familiarity losing in her eyes...

"I am your Manik Nandini! The one who loves you truly! The one who don't care what others say about you! Who loves you the same way you love him! You love me na?" I asked sweetly and let the tears flow with that I crawled a little closer to her...
"I love you??" She asked like a baby..
"Yes! You love me Nandini! You love me more then I love you!" I said gathering the courage and crawled more closer...
The familiarity came back and her eyes looked shiny...
"I love you!" This time it wasn't a question from her it sounded more like a confession..
"Yes! You remember right? Last night hasn't changed anything! You have to remember us Nandini! I beg you!" I pleaded reaching her and I saw tears brimming in her innocent eyes..
"My Manik! Our Love! You me! Us!" She spoke random words all the time shaking her head and I closed my eyes to calm myself before opening them back..
"Come to me Nandini! Come BACK to me!" I whispered opening my arms for her and this time she didn't waste a second to climb my lap. She threw her arms around my shoulders and hide her face in my neck crying almost hysterically loud..
Her cries shook me..
"Manik! Manik! Manik! Ap mjy chod kar kiun chalay gye thy?? Ap mjy chod kar kbhi mat jana! Wo phir say aa jye ga! I love you! I Iove you!" She was shouting crazily in my arms and I was so helpless..
"Am sorry sweetie! I had something important! Am so sorry! I promise I won't leave again! Now am here! You are in my arms safe and sound! No one is going to harm you! I will protect you! I promise! Acha here look at me!" I said caressing her hair and forcefully made her look at me. "You trust me??" I asked cupping her cheeks and she nodded like an innocent baby. "Then don't cry! And don't be afraid! He is not coming back! Your devil will protect his Angel got it?" I spoke in a determined tone and she nodded once again hugging me back tightly...
And she didn't let me go for a second...

"I will not leave Khurana! How dare his son to even touch my daughter!" Mr.Murthy shouted slamming his fist on his table and I was sitting calmly resting the ankle of left foot on my right knee...
"Mr.Murthy! I suggest you to file a case against Aryaman Khurana!" I said rubbing my chin with my forefinger and Mr.Murthy sat back on his chair..
"How?? Police needs proofs Manik! And Khurana is already very furious on whatever those rogues have done to Aryaman! I must say it everyone is laughing on Khuranas! Bht jigray ka kaam kiya hain rogues nay!" Mr.Murthy said and I smiled with tongue in cheek..
Yes that's right! Khurana's were hidden in their house and media was banging the windows..
A beggar found Aryaman in the garbage box next morning and he started screaming thinking of him a corpse. But Aryaman woke up and people gathered around him. He run from there and I thought he was saved but the pictures which had been sent to news channels from some unknown ID did the job and now Khuranas had no explanation left...
His pictures were viral on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and everywhere...

"Tou you have proofs Mr.Murthy!" I said with an innocent smile on my face and Mr.Murthy looked confused. "Ohoo! See! When Aryaman came and Nandini had attacked him with a knife! This caused his arm to bleed! Dhruv has taken the samples! The blood found in your dinning area is of Aryaman's! And some of Nandini's too! Moreover he left so many finger prints around so it's easy to prove actually very easy that he was here! Baki Nandini's statement will help!" I said shrugging my shoulders and Mr.Murthy nodded..
"Well that's smart! But Khurana will buy the lawyers! We can't throw Aryaman in jail!" He said rubbing his temples..
"Well that I know! But filing a case will be a good warning for Khuranas!" I said leaning forward on the table and Mr.Murthy nodded. "And umm! Mr.Murthy! I want you to warn from Khuranas! I mean ap ko pata tou chal he gya ho ga that they are not your well wishers! But am warning you again!" I said in a serious tone and Mr.Murthy nodded again..
"Don't worry little boy! Your rogues secret is safe with me and my daughter! I will help you guys in whatever your mission is! Meri fikar mat karo!" He said with a small smile and my eyes widened..

"Don't be so shocked! Nandini is my daughter! If she could guess your secret then how can her father don't! But listen! Plan the things as early as possible! If I can guess your secret then anybody can!" His tone was fatherly and I smiled back..
"Yes Sir! And thank you!" I said with a gratitude holding his hand and he patted my cheek with his free..
"Call me Dad! Haq banta hai tumhara!" He said cutely and got up to discuss the case with his lawyers while I sat shocked...happily shocked. .

"A little more please!" I pleaded but she refused to eat by hiding her face more in my neck..
"Am not hungry!" She whispered lowly snuggling in me more and I sighed..
"You will fall sick!" I scolded her but no response and she kept clinging to me..
I placed the tray away and laid back on the bed with her..
Her eyes were closed and I caressed her features very carefully as if she was a doll made of glass and I had a fear what if I hurt her..
It's been five days and that's how we were living..
She didn't let me go and I obeyed whatever she asked...
"Hey!" I whispered sweetly and entwined my fingers with hers to kiss her knuckle. But she didn't open her eyes...
"Babe! I want you to look in my eyes when I talk to you!" I pleaded and she slowly opened her eyes to stare in mine..
The sadness was still there...
I needed to wash that sadness away...
"Now just listen to me okay?" I spoke caressing her cheek and she nodded..
"Words student! I need words!" I said in an authoritative tone and she gulped..
"Okay Sir! Am listening to you!" She mewed weakly and I smiled..
"Whatever happened that night was not your fault!" I started and she flinched remembering that night. "I know it's difficult for you to discuss about that night! But you have to be strong because I can't live like this! I haven't seen your pretty smile since then! Don't do this to me baby! Don't do this to us! I can die for you but I can't see you like this! Please!" I begged and tears streamed down her cheeks..
"You know Manik when he touched me! I knew he made me impure! He made me impure for you! Whenever you will touch me you will have this thing in your mind that you are the first to touch me! Am sorry I failed to protect myself for you! I failed as a lover! I failed as a girlfriend!" She finally let that thing let out which was irking her and this left me amazed too..
"No you won Nandini! You saved yourself! You saved yourself for us! I love you and I am not letting you go isn't it enough for you??" I asked in a very much hurt tone and she hiccupped..
"Promise me! Promise me that you will never leave me!" She and her insecurities...
"I promise mjy tumhri kasam!" I said lovingly and she hugged me again..
"I love you!" She whispered in my ear and I smiled...
"I love you too! Angel! I love you till eternity!" I whispered back and she sighed..
"Manik!" She whispered again and I hummed. She broke the hug and smiled...finally...she smiled. "Kiss me na??" She said cutely and I was seriously dead on her little demand. I almost pounced on her kissing her insanely and she giggled kissing me back with equal favor...
I kissed her and she was relaxing under my touch. I almost smooched the blood out of her lips and she went breathless. I broke the kiss and rested my forehead over hers..
"I missed you!" She whispered lovingly tracing her forefinger on my cheek and stared in my eyes with droopy look...
"I missed you too baby! I missed you so much! You make me go crazy Nandini! I just can't wait to make you mine!" I replied in the same tone dipping my face in her neck and sucking to her sweet spot. She moaned quietly and wrapped her arms around my shoulders pulling me closer..
"Then make me yours na? What's stopping you?" She asked huskily as her lips teased my ear and I groaned pulling away to look in her eyes..
"Tonight! Will you come with me? Date?? Just you and me?" I asked with a small smile and she was smiling so brightly that I thought that her cheeks would hurt. She nodded mutely and I smiled before sealing the deal with a sweet forehead kiss...

And finally tonight is the night...
Manik himself asked me to get ready by eight..
He told me that he was himself going to pick me up..
I stood in front of my wardrobe and was now confused...
What should I wear???
I picked up my cell phone and called for my handsome man..
"Hey honey? Can't wait for the night?" He spoke in a flirtatious tone and I sighed shaking my head..
"Mr.Malhotra apny ap ko itna bhi credit mat dijye! I was just confused with my dress so thought to ask you?" I said in a curt tone and he chuckled..
"Acha! Yani kay main esy he khush ho raha tha?" He said in a sad tone and I giggled..
The giggle soon turned into a little laugh and he went silent from other side. This paused my laugh..
"Manik?? Manik?? Are you there?" I asked softly and he hummed..
"Baby you have to promise me something?" He spoke in a strange tone and I bit my lower lip in nervousness..
"Boliye!!?" I said lowly...
"That you will always keep laughing and smiling just like this? Promise?" His words made me smile and I once again wondered on my luck...
"Promise!" The words came out more like a prayer and he blew a kiss from other side..
"Acha chuck everything tell me what should I wear for you?" I changed the topic and he hummed in a thinking way..
"Something white as snow! Something which will compliment my Angel's skin!" His dreamy voice made me giggle once again..
"Okay Rock star I will! Now I have to go bye!" I was about to hang up when...
"Hey hey no wait!!!" Manik shouted..
"Manik ab kya hua?" I asked in an irritated tone and he sighed..
"I love you!" He said like a Romeo and I laughed again..
"You are impossible Manik! Is ka answer ap ko tab mily ga jab ap mjy leny aoa gay now bye!" I said angrily and hung up the phone..
"Hmm! Something white as snow!" I repeated Manik's words and searched my wardrobe .
Finally I got a perfect dress for the night. The dress would end till my knees. It's inner was simple and the upper was made of net lace..
It was simple yet beautiful..
Soon I got in the shower. I washed my hair and rinsed my body. Soon I was done. I walked towards the mirror and stared at my naked body..
The wounds from five nights ago were healed but the marks were there.
Deep and Dark...
They kept reminding me off the each second of that horrible night..
I brushed one of the mark and flinched..
I didn't hurt but the feel made me sad...
The marks were making me look bad...
"I will make you mine tonight!" Manik's words echoed in my ears and I looked down in the sink avoiding my own self...
"Will he be able to bear my marked body??" This thought made me shiver and I immediately wrapped a towel around me hide myself..
How will I be able to give myself to him when I myself can't look at my body??
For a second I thought of messaging him and telling him a no from my side but stopped remembering the hope and eagerness in his eyes...
I nervously slipped in the white dress and did my hair along with a little make up..
Soon I was ready and look at the clock it was striking exactly 7:55 pm..
He would be here any minute..
Plugging out my cellphone from the charging I sat on the bed and nervously fidgeted with my fingers..
I had never this much nervous in my whole life..

The honk of Manik's car made me jump and I put a hand on my heart to calm my heartbeat..
I slipped in my white fairy shoes and rushed outside..
I saw Dad sitting in the lounge and Manik entering..
He was looking so handsome in that navy blue blazer and simple shirt with jeans.
For few seconds I froze on the last step of the staircase and he hugged Dad..
They both were laughing on something and then he turned towards me..
Our eyes met and I shivered to see that look in his eyes...
He was determined tonight...
He was there to take me away and make he and me an US!..
He looked at Dad for the permission and Dad nodded towards me with a cute smile on his face..
He walked closer to me and with his each advancing step I felt my heart racing and my stomach twisting in knots...
After few seconds he was close to me and I looked down nervously while he held my hand entwining it with his. He pulled me a little closer and I rested my cheek on his broad chest. He bent down close to my ear and I inhaled in his scent..
He smelled delicious and exotic..
"You look beautiful Angel! I can't wait...you know for what?" His words hit my eardrums and his lips were lingering over my ear. My lower lip trembled and I clutched his hand more tighter hiding my face more into his chest, avoiding his gaze. "Abhi say sharma gai? The night has just stared babe! Keep this shyness for later! You can't imagine the things I want to do to you and will do!" His words once again reached my head and this time I felt my legs gave out. If he wouldn't have been holding me to him I would have collapsed right there..
He stood straight and I was still standing with closed eyes. I felt his lips on my forehead and I felt secured..
"So Dad! Grant me the permission to take your daughter for a night?" He said obediently placing his hand on my lower back and I too smiled at Dad..
"Oh yeah! Take her! She smiles when you are around so I am happy and yes even am going out of country! I will be back in three days so just take care of her in my absence!" Dad said patting his shoulder and he smirked nodding his head..
"Ohh yeah! I will take care of her! Bohat achy say!" My eyes widened on his double meaning and I elbowed him in rib making him flinch...
"Awww! I just love you both kids! Come here and gimme a hug! Aj Nandini ki Mom zinda hoti tou kitna khush hoti--!" Dad and his emotional rants he forcefully took us in a hug and with loads of difficulty we bid him goodbye and reached the parking..
"So where you gonna take me Rock star?" I asked trying to act a little cheerful as I didn't want to ruin his happiness and excitement because of my stupid insecurities..
My sentence made him turn and I smiled at him raising my eyebrows..
He smirked again and grabbed my waist pulling me closer. My palms rested flat on his chest and he tucked a strand behind my ear..
"Don't instigate me Ms.Murthy! Because I won't mind taking you on the very back seat of my car!" He and shameless mouth what a deadly combination..
My mouth hung open and my eyes widened with that I slapped his chest angrily and he laughed throwing his head back while I shyly snuggled in him..
"Hey! Don't worry! It's our night and once again I promise you to make it special!" He sealed his promise with a quick peck..

"We gonna spend the night in jungle??" I asked in a angry tone and Manik chuckled..
"Of course! Yes! Aray aoa tumhy animals say friendship karata hoon!" He said pulling me out of the car and I was shocked..

"Kitny questions pochti ho yar! And When I answer them for you tou kehti hoo 'hawww you are so shameless Manik'!" He mimicked my words all the time walking forward and dragging me with him..
"Manik! You are impossible!" I shouted angrily and he was just laughing...
This made me angry...
"Manik ki jaan thoda sabar kar lo na! We are almost there!" The love in his voice was so intense that all my anger flew away and I looked down shyly making my way towards his surprise. He was showing us the way with the help of his cell flash..
Suddenly he stopped and I bumped in his back..

I was about to complain but the sight in front of me made me forget my words and I stared amazed..
A treehouse?? Was it?!?

The rare view was so amazing that I was completely bowled..
"This is amazing!" I said which came out as a whisper. Manik took me in a back hug and his lips nipped my skin causing me to hold back a moan..
"I knew that you will love it!" He spoke on my skin and this vibration sent chills down my spine..
"Yes I loved it!" I said lovingly and kissed the side of my neck..
"Wanna go inside?" He asked huskily and I gulped the lump in my throat...
"Hmmm!" I just hummed nodding my head and he smiled taking my hand in his once again..
This time he didn't drag me instead we slowly and gracefully walked over the bridge kinda thing which was leading us towards inside..
The little walk was so romantic..
"How did you managed all this here?" I asked still amazed and he shook his head..
"Hey don't underestimate the Eagles of Rose! We can do anything! So just chuck all that! Let's talk about us!" He said with a smile and I nodded taking in the view because we reached on top floor..
There was a table near the railing and the dinner was served already..
A beautiful couch and the bed with matching covers..
The night was also very beautiful..
"Allow me!" He and his manners as he pulled out the chair for me. I smiled bending a little to thank his gestures and sat on the chair..
"So! I got your favorite roasted salmon with apple juice and yes not to forget the cheese chicken salad you love!" He was a sweetheart who knew how to cheer me up..
"Thank you Manik!" I said with a real gratitude placing my hand over his and he smiled..
"No need Angel! Bus tum smile karo! It's enough for me!" He said innocently and I almost choked looking down. "Chalo come on now eat the dinner or else it will get cold!" He scolded me a little and I nodded with a smile..
Then he talked and talked..

I kept listening to him and constantly smiled on his silly lame jokes which he was cracking just to make me smile..
"Then Cabir run away and I was being caught!" He told me his another childhood story with a pout and I giggled..
"I am done with my dinner!" I said still laughing and he nodded placing his fork back..

"So now?" I asked raising my eyebrows and he got up..
"Would you like to have a dance with me Ms.Murthy?" He asked obediently extending his hand in front of me and I smiled before placing my small hand in his..
Soon we were dancing slowly and leisurely in each others arms..
My head was on his chest and arms were tightly wounded around his waist while his one hand was on my waist and other was in my hair kneading them slowly..
"You are loving this night Nandini?" He whispered in my ear and I clutched to his blazer tightly...
"Yes!" I breathed in his chest and felt his lips lingered on my head while his cold finger traced my bare back specifically the spine..

Suddenly I pushed him away and he looked at me with drowsy eyes.
I walked towards the railing and clutched it tightly in my fists. Soon I felt his hands covering mine and his fabric covered chest pressing in my back..
He removed my hair from the back and trailed wet kisses all the way down making me go all breathless..
I turned to him and he didn't waste a single second to dip his face in my neck. He kissed, nipped and bite all over my neck and shoulders leaving tons of love bites..
Something in me once again irked and before he could reach for the zip of my dress I spoke..
"Manik!!" I breathed and he just hummed sucking to my collar bone..
"Manik stop!" I again begged and it felt he didn't listen. With loads of difficulty I gathered the courage to press my both palms on chest pushing him a little away. "Stop please!" I spoke in a shaky tone and my whole body trembled. He froze where he was and my legs turned jelly. I gripped to his collars tightly and tears made their way down my cheeks..
"Am I hurting you?" He asked in a hurt tone staring in my teary eyes with his innocent ones and I hiccupped..
"You don't want me??" He asked again and his voice was so painful..
"You don't love me??" He asked this time cupping my cheeks and angled my head more to look in his eyes deeply..
I shivered on his question and I shook my head..
"You are not hurting me!" I sobbed..
"I...I want you to so much that it hurts!" The answer to his second question came out so desperately..
"I Love you! I really do but..!" I cried more and stopped..
"But what?? Tell me??" He demanded in a stern tone and I looked down. "I want you to look in my eyes and answer me Nandini!!!!" He thundered with authority and my eyes snapped at his...

"This night can be our best night Nandini! Only if you tell me what's in your mind? Itna tou trust krti ho na mj pay?" He pleaded with puppy eyes and I nodded...
Since that night Manik had seen my wounds after that Zyna Bi was the one treating them for me. He didn't know anything about the marks..
"You! You will hate my body Manik!" Finally I spoke those words and I noticed his eyes widening..
"Body? Why would I hate you Angel?? I..I love you!" He spoke in disbelief and I shook my head..
"The wounds have been healed but the marks are still there! Deep and dark! You won't be able to see them!" I spoke in an ashamed tone and looked down..
"Oh God Nandini! Seriously?? Tum mjy itna gira hua insaan smjhti hoon?? You think it's all the matter of being physical???" Manik almost freaked out leaving me and backing off...
"Itna ghatiya hai mera pyaar?? I am with you not because of your body! Am with you because you told me how it feels to be happy! I love you that's why I am with you! If you will say then I won't touch you ever! But please don't think so bad of me!" He was now pulling his hair as he sat on the couch hiding his face in his hands and I sobbed..
His confession brought so much of happiness for me..
"Am sorry!" I breathed out and rushed to sit in his feet..
"Manik!" I begged but he didn't look at me..
"Meri taraf dekhiye naaa!" I begged shouted but no response...
"Apni jaan ko dekhiya na! Am sorry! I was just scared!" I pleaded and finally he look at me..
His face was a teary mess..
"I think meray pyaar main he koi kami reh gai that you felt like that!" He said in a low voice shaking his head and I felt so so ashamed.
I hurt him..
I ruined our moment...
Now I have to fix it...
I got up and his gaze followed me..
"I want you Manik! This my last statement of this night! Next thing I want to say is your name when you will do the things with me which you wanted to do!" I spoke in a husky tone and his tensed expressions turned to soft ones..
He held my hand with innocent expressions and squeezed it..
"We can go back if--!" He started saying but I shook my head..
"I want you to remove all my insecurities!" I said with an assuring smile and the moment he pulled me over. I straddled his lap and his finger traced the line of my dress..
"Never ever ashamed of your body! Whatever it is I love it! Allow me remove his touch and make you mine completely!" He spoke seductively and once again I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I felt giddy..

Without bothering to break the kiss me picked me up and slowly walked us to the bed. Soon I felt my bare back touching the mattress and my head hit the comfortable pillow. He adjusted my head over it carefully and broke the kiss finding me breathless. But it seems he was in no mood to leave my skin so his lips once again started lingering on my neck and shoulder sucking it. Traveling down he reached me cleavage and with each kiss down he slid the dress of my body lifting me up he dipped his face in the valley and I gripped his hair tightly pushing him further deep in my skin..

This made me feel the most Lucky girl of the world..
The moment came close and I hide my face in neck biting to his shoulder to stop the scream of desperation..
"Please! Man..nik!" I breathed in his neck and he cooed me.
"I got you baby! Just hold me tight!" He whispered lovingly running his fingers through my hair and finally..
I screamed his name out as he claimed me as his with loads of passion..
The pain and pleasure made me sob in his neck..
"Shhh! Baby hey! Just take it slow! We are okay! I got you!" He was whispering sweet nothings in my ear as I laid flat with eyes closed..
This was the best feeling I could ever imagine..
I felt so complete..
And this was all because of the man lying over me and his face was dug in my neck. I slowly laced my fingers in his hair and he purred..
Tears of happiness trickled down and he drank them sweetly..
"I have something for you! Open your eyes!" I heard him saying and I turned to him only to see him holding a beautiful pendant. It had a pearl, a single angel wing and a silver gold plate over which 'Forever in my heart' was written!
I touched it and smiled. I slid closer to him and he took it as a gesture to make me wear it..
"It's beautiful! Thank you for this night Manik! I will never forget this!" I said pecking his lips and he smiled..
"I am glad that I made you happy! I love you so much! Main tmhy kbhi kuch nahi hony doon ga! Kbhi nahi!" His words held so emotions that I also choked..
"I know and I trust you!" I said nodding my head frantically and he hugged me tightly..
Then we started staring at the stars with me lying over him..
"That one is more bright!" I argued pointing towards a star and Manik shook his head..
"Aray baba! Am telling you na mine one is more brighter!" He said cutely and I looked at him angrily..
"Which star?? Am pointing towards the most brightest one!" I said slapping his arm and he shrugged..
"You! You are my brightest star!" He said touching my nose and I giggled..
"Kya karoon main ap ka?" I asked laughingly pulling his cheek and he made a sad pout..
"Mjy kya pata! Ya tou tum socho!" He said innocently and I rubbed my chin in a thoughtful manner while he waited for me to think..
"Soch liya!" Suddenly I exclaimed and he nodded..
"Tou tell me?" He said touching my hair and I leaned closer to his lips..
"Bata doon??" I asked huskily and naughtiness shined in his eyes..
"Bata do!" He said pulling me closer and our lips were inches apart when suddenly Manik's phone buzzed irritating the sh!t out of us..
"Take it! Maybe kuch important ho!" I said with a smile and he nodded before reaching for it..
Cabir's name was flashing on the screen...
"Hello?" Manik spike receiving the call and I snuggled in his chest playing with his pendant while his other hand caressed my hair..
I couldn't hear what Cabir was saying but Manik was just humming and his grip around me was tightening. This alarmed me and I looked up to see his face full with frowns as soon as he noticed me attentive towards him he changed his expressions with a fake smile..
"Okay! Yeah! Bye!" He hung up and I raised my eyebrows to ask what..
"Aray it's nothing! He was just teasing me!" Manik said with a chuckle and I looked at him suspiciously..
"What? Baby aren't you sleepy?? Mjy tou bohat nend ai hai! Chalo let's sleep!" He said hastily snuggling me close to him and I sighed..
I knew he wasn't gonna tell me so I didn't push him and hugged him tighter..
Soon I was slipping in deep sleep..
"I love you and am not gonna let anyone touch you again!" His whispers reached my ears as I felt his lips pressing on my hair but I was too much tired and sleepy to think about it..
