CHAPTER 1

FIREFLIES+STARS+HOPE= LIFE...😳

A handsome hunk was sitting at the edge of the cliff...he was just looking at the sun that was going to set...and he was totally lost in his thoughts...he was all alone...!!! He had no one with him...nether to share his joys nor to share his sorrows...all those persons who he loved had either betrayed him or just left him at the middle of the road ...he was like a lost child..he was searching for his destination..he had no idea where to go..and now it was all about him and darkness...!!!

He slowly stood up and opened both his arms in air and shouted..yelled at top of his voice..."aaa"" he just wanted his pain to decrease any how...either by shouting or by Crying or anything. .he just could not live any longer with that pain..it was like a slow poison which was killing him slowly and slowly each day with each pass sing second..he then just collapsed on the floor crying hard...his tears knew no bound...he was crying and crying..the sun had almost set and darkness had started to engulf him...he slowly stood up and went at the edge of cliff with a determined face...

Today he was determined..he was determined to finish his life. That life which was not worthy living...that life where he was all alone..no one to love him ..no one to take care of him..why will he even want to live such life. ..who knew the ever so happy and charming MR.MANIK MALHOTRA..the most popular youth singer in India and most successful youngest talent all over the world..would ever think to finish his life..but here he is today..all set to finish his life.

He slowly closed his eyes and put his legs forward to jump from the cliff...hr took a long breath and he was at the verge of jumping down when he heard a loud voice. "RUK JAYO..!!"

Manik's p.o.v

I had almost jumped from the cliff but before I could I heard a loud voice. I was going to turn back to see the source of the voice. ..but before I could I felt someone grabbing my hands from the back . ..the hands that grabbed both of my hands were soft but the gripp was firm...but now I was getting irritated...after struggling souch in life ..once again I had to struggle while dying...

I shouted "What the hell..!!what do u think u are doing. ? Just leave my hand. ..!!

I was moving my whole body so that the grip becomes loose but it kept increasing..I could not see who that person was since she was at back of me. Yeah I knew she was a girl but she seemed really strong. !!! But right now my concern was to die .and thus girl was not letting Mr to..I could feel anger building inside me. I decided that in next few sec if she didn't lebe my hand I will jump with her. When I Was in my thoughts. I heard her speaking..

" stop moving. I am not going to leave you. How can u even think that I will let u do suicide. ..no never. !! "

I was surprised why was she stopping me. "Do u know you .!?"

" I don't think so..but how can I say ..I have not seen your face. !!"

Oh god .this girl. !! " leave my hand. Only then we can see each other. Or u are planning to catch me the while night. !!"

" nahi if u jump then..first promise me..u r not going to jump..!!"

"OK..leave me. !!" I felt her grip slowly loosening. I turned back to see that idiotic girl who messed with me..but what I saw made my heart skip its beat. There she was. A petite girl..so beautiful..so angelic...with long hair. .big doe like eyes..chubby cheeks ..her face was fuel of innocence. I wsd totally lost in her when I noticed her frowing. That broke my trance...!! But wait why wwas I staring her...!! Chucking my thoughts I gave her a glare but there was no effect on her. .she seemed not affected..she slowly came forward. Took my hands and made me sit down at the edge. !!!

I was surprised...what she is doing..!? I looked at her all amazed and she slightly chuckled..I heard her saying. " tum mujhe raise kyun dekh rahe ho. !?? Well first of all.let me introduce myself..I am Nandini. You!?

"Manik" I almost whispered but I guess she heard it. And next I heard her saying. !!

PART B..

Nandu just whispered "manik " so lovingly and manik heard it..the way she took his name..he fell in love with his own name..but then she spoke nothing..!! There was silence..but surprisingly manik was feeling comfortable with the silence. .just looking at her he felt connected. He felt he could talk to her. Open his heart out..but she was speaking nothing..so he spoke but in a little cold voice.

" why did u stop me. !?"

"Why won't I ? I can't see anyone dying..!"

Manik just hmm and then again silence..after sometime nandu spoke.." waise manik ..tum into back decision kyun lene wale they..!??

Manik smiled a little seeing her opening her arms wide to show how big his mistake was. .he replied "itni bhi badi decision nahi hain jitna ki tum bol rahi ho. !!"

To which nandu replied in a surprised tone.." Arrey .bad I baat kaise nahi hain. ?? Tumhe koi andaaza bhi hain ke tum apne Japan dene wale they. Apni precious life ko finish karne wale they...!!"

Manik sadly chuckled and lay down on ground looking at the stars and replied. " precious..!! Nandini life unki precious hoti hain jinke pass koi pyaar karne wala..koi care karne wala hota hain..lek in main...main itna badnaseeb hun ke mere pass toh Asia koi nahi Jo mujhe aur mere iss life ko precious samjhe. !!"

Nandu also lay down beside him and asked him.." manik tumhare pass time machine hain kya..!!? "

What !!? Manik replied all confused at her question...

Looking at his confused face nandu said " arrey..time machine..jiske help se we can travel in past and future. !"

Manik looked at her and said in an annoyed tone.."wow..I didn't know that. !! Idiot..of course I know what's a time machine..but y r u asking about it..!!?"

Nandu pouted listening to idiot and said.."what the .tumne mujhe idiot bola..but kher iss baar Maine tum he maaf kiya..

And tum baat hi aise kartr ho...(vopying manik style ) mere zindagi main aisa koi nahi hain Jo mujhe pyaar karr bla..bla.

Tumne apna future dekha hain kya. Jo tum itne sure ho ki no one is gonna come in your life..!! I mean kya pata. Kab kon ajaye. Kab kya ho..u know life is so unpredictable..!!

Manik replied in a sad tone. " nahi Nandini. I know aisa kabhi nahi hosakta. Meri zindagi main itna darkness hain ki agar koi aaye bhi toh main usse nahi dekh payunga. Aur nahi woh mujhe dekh payegi. Kyunki kiss darkness main. Main itna kho chuka hun ki ab toh main khud ki identity bhul gaya hun.!!!

Nandu came little close to manik and said looking at him. " manik tumne jugnu ko dekha hain..!?

Huh!? Replied a confused manik.

N:(excited) arey budhu. Jugnu matlab fireflies. Have you noticed them..? They are so small..so tiny but they have so much of strength in them...u know what..when they shine na..they can tear apart the darkness by their light no matter how deep the darkness is. They just shine selflessly just to enlighten our world. !!"

Manik was listening to her with a amused face curiously just like a 5 year old kid listens to his mom when she is giving him a lesson of life.

Manik asked innocently. " but Nandini. Mere pass koi fire files nahi hain. Air fireflies na sirf night ki darkness ko mita sakta hain kisiki life ki darkness ko nahi. !!"

Listening to manik nandu catches his hands and said. " manik tum he pasta hain. Hum San apne life se into jaldi kyun haar manlete hain. ? Its because him yeh bhul mate hain ki there is a word called HOPE. ..you know manik hope hi hain Jo insaan ko kitni bhi difficult situation main alive rakh sakti hain. Agar hope karoge na toh kitni bhi darkness ho tum unsab ko chir ke lightness ko engulf karsakte ho.

But as soon as u lose hope na..tab we can't fight with darkness and darkness will gobble us up..so manik please tumna sache dilse hope karo and I know tum his bhi waje se yeh decision ke rahe they..woh solve ho jayegi..tum he apna destination mil jayega. "!! Samjhe ya aur samjhau budhu.

Manik was in tears listening to nandu but hearing her last line he chuckled.

"Hmm..bilkul stars ki tarah na. ...they shine for us. ..they show us way in dark..but u know what nandu..yeh stars hain na ..they dissapear...and once again we are left in darkness.

Manik isiliye u don't need to find your soulmate in stars...u will find a star in your soulmate. Who is gonna shine for u...!!!!
