Hi Mish,

I had few doubts. U said that we are supposed to follow the rules of fanfiction by which I'm assuming that u don't want us to change the basic essence of the story. However, I was curious to know that are we allowed to alter the characteristics of any character in any way?

For example, is it okay if I portray Manik as a calm and gentle person instead of a Monster or will I have to stick to the character presented onscreen?

Also, in case the OS turns out to be too long due to which it might not get published in one post because of the word limit on India Forums, can we present it as Part A and Part B? It is only because of the length, not because I want to present the story as a Two Shot.

Kindly answer my queries.

Nope fanfiction rules aren't what you are assuming.

For OS, you can do any types of changes in characters or plot but make it well explanatory and OS should be THEME ORIENTED as instructed in the post.

Nope! If your length is increasing more for an one shot then please minimixe it but presenting in parts isn't allowed.

Yup! Only one of them is to be used!

And should hold significance in the shot
