Chapter-3

As soon as nandini sees them she looks at them all confused while ...navya is in tears...seeing her after 5 yrs...she steps forward

Navya-nandu...(emotionally)

As soon as she steps forward nandini freaks out and hides behind manik holding his shirt in her fist tightly...

n- nai...nai...fliend..mujhe...(stammering)(watching this navya stops where she was...and tears roll down from her eyes)

m- shhh...nandu ...seee...kuch hai hoga...koi tumhe kuch nahi karega...wo mere friens hai na.. toh tumhare bhi friends hi huye...so ...calm down baba...(hugging her while continously rubbing her back)

this time nandini looks at him...

n- me..mele...fliends?(innocently)

m-(smiles and nods)

he then gestures navya to come forward by a simple node...navya comes forward wiping her tears and pulling off a smile on her face...and forwards aher hand towards nandini...

navya-.hello nandini..mein navya ...kya tum mere friend banogi...

nandini looks at manik and he nods in assureance ...finally nandini takes her hand and gives a faint smile...

Navya- accha ab mujhse toh milliya ab meet cabir (cabir comes and stands beside her)my husband...

Nandini looks at cabir ...

Cabir- hello nandu...oops ...ab humlong friends hai toh mein tujhe nandu bula sakta hun na...(naughtyly trying to cover up his pain seeing his syappa queen,his friend who is more important to him than his own sister in this condition)

This time nandini smile a little...

Cabir - cool then from today mein tujhe nandu bulaunga and...u can call me bhai...if u want ...wo kya hai na tujhe dekhke mujhe meri behen ki yaad aate hai...issliye...but its..its ok if u don't want...

n- its ok ...bhai...I will call u bhai...mela bhi koi bhai..nahi hai ...so its fine...now I too have a blother...(smiles)

cabir-(smiles) ok then meri behena ...chalo lets all of us have breakfast together...

maniks provo-

thank u god finnaly she is geeting a little normal...i hope nandini jaldi thik ho jaye...

Dinning room-

Manik helps nandini to walk till the dinning table and helps her sit on the chair beside him...

The buttler serves the breakfast but manik stops him when he was about to serve nandini...

Manik- wo breakfast kahan hai jo meine tumhe banake ko bola tha?bring that breakfast for nandini and yes aaj se nandini maam ke liye har roj breakfast mein wahi banega jo mei kahunga...understood?

The buttler nods and bring the prepared breakfast...

The breakfast included omlets,toasts,fruit salads,milk,juice,conflex and what not...

Manik himself serves nandini...and starts feeding her himself...

Watching this site infront of their eyes cavya smile together...

After a while...

n- fleind bus na...mela peeth phat jayega...(starts nagging like a baby)

m- nandu... aise kaise peeth phat jayega...see tumne abhi khaya hi kya hai...chalo yeh omlet finish karo..and phir u will have milk...kitni weak ho gaye ho nahi kaogi toh kaise chalega.(with full concern)

nandini gives a helpless look towards her new found bhai...who immediately understands her plight and comes up with an idea to save his sister...

c- aaa. Manik... u remember na khurana wale project ke bare mein...

m- han cabir I remember ...infact meine kuch designs bhi final kiye hain ...

while talking to manik he winks at nandini...and nandini gives a wide smile...ahe was about to leave when manik held her...

m- and where do u thik u r going...

Nandini sits again and frowns...

m- ab yeh frowns dena band karo and finsh this up fast...

n-fleind nai na...mela peeth sacchi mein phat jayega...plz...aur nai khanna...plz...man jao na..(making puppy faces)

m- (this times manik melts down seeing her puppy face )acch aok kuch aur nahi toh atlest finish this milk...

Finally nandini finishes the milk and gives a big smile at him...

And manik smiles at her cuteness as due to the milk a mostach has appeared above her upper lip...maniks take the napkin and wipes it off careingly...

Navya-(smiles at this gesture of manik)chalo nandu tv dekhte hain...

Nandini looks at manik and manik nods smilingly...

Navya helps nandini to stand up and helps her to walk towards the living room...

Meanwhile in the dinning room-

c-so...tune bataya nahi ki wo tujhe kaise mili?

Manik narrates the whole story...

c- how can someone be so cruel to such a innocent soul...i mean kyun ...kaoi nandu ke saath aisa kyun karega...

m- kabir ..i swear mein pata lagakar hi rahunga ki yeh sab kis kaminey ney kiya hai... aur jis din wo mere haat lag gaya I swear kabir...mere hathoon se ya toh murder ho jayega ya phir I will make sure to burn him alive...

c- calm down yaar wo sab hum baad mein sochenge philhal ke liye we have to thik of a way taki hum nandini ko jald se jald heal karsake...this sholu be our first priority...tujhe kuch pata chala ki usske aise halat kaise hui hai...

m- nahi yaar wo doctor uncle usske blood samples lekar gaye hain kuch tests karane...aur unhone usse chek bhi kiya tha...par unhone bola ki tests ke baad confirm hokar mujhe batayenge...

Just then manik recieves a call from the doctor...he picks it up

m-yes uncle...kuch pata chala...

Doc- listen manik...jo mein aab tumhe kehene jaa raha hun usse dhayan se sunna ...mein tumhe yeh milkar batana chahata tha but I have rush to london for an important confrence...so...the thing is...mera shak sahi tha usse ek bahut hi dangerous drug diya jaraha tha from last for years to make her mentally unstable...uss dugs ne uske brain nerves ko damage kardiye hai ...jiski wajhese she has lost her memory and is acting childish...usska brain usse aur damage se bachane ke liye yeh sab karraha hai,its blocking her memories...maybe because ...she has some horrible memories...jisi yaad karne se shayad wo coma mein chali jaye...(manik was in a state of shock)usske buns ko dekhkar ...i can only say ki that poor soul has gone though a lot beta...usse jinda jalane ki koshis ki gaye thi ...as those burns are 2^nd stage burns...they need to be treated as soon as possible...and afcourse as u said u found her in the hospita running away from the asylum toh I am sur usse shocks bhi diye gaye honge...and kuch aur tests se mujhe pata chala hai ki..(hesitates)

m-(angryly while tears roll down from his eyes)ki kya uncle...boliye uncle ki kya...

doc- ki shayad usske saath jabardasti ki gaye hai...and not only once but god knows kitni baar...par beta u have to be stong...tum agar toot jaoge...to nandini ko kaun samhalega ... she needs u beta...tumhe usse heal karna hai...and for that u have to be stong...

m-(with tremmbling voice while tears have no bound for him)..un..uncle...kya us..usse kabi kuch bhi yaad nahi ayyega...

c- no no beta...uske memoris bhi waaps aajayenge...par kitna time lagega that canbot be specified...may be 3-4 mahine mein waapas aajaye ya phir 2-3 saal bhi lagsakte hain...leekin it totally depends ki wo kitni jaldi heal karte hai...uske body tho 2 -3 mahino mein puri tarahe se heal ho jayega ..leekin...undhruni chot ko heal hone mein time lagega...so jitna hosake try to make her happy ...try to make her open up by herserself ...tum dekha ...it will take time but I am sure wo thik ho jaye beta...accha mere flight ka time ho raha hai so...bya beta take care...

m- by uncle...

As soon as he cut the call he sits on the chair nearby whit a thud

Cabir rushes towards him...

c- buddy tu ..tu thik hai na... doc ne kya kaha...

Manik starts crying and hugs cabir tightly...and narrates everything...

Hearing this cabir also starts crying...

c- buddy ...sun mere baat we have to be stong...we have to heal her right we cant break down like...hai na..

manik also holds himself together and tries not to breakdown...

Cabir forwards his hand towards him

c- aaj se mission heal nandini starts...and don't worry hum milke usse thik karenge...

manik smils and holds his hand and they share a buddy wla hug...

c- chal ab ladkiyon ki tarah rona band kar aur nandu ke pass ja...

m-(smiles)uumm cabir wo office..

c- don't worry tu nandini par concentrate kar and ghar par hi ruk ...take one month ki leave and chinta mat kar I will handle everything...so chill...

m- thanx buddy...

c-( hits him)saale dost ko thanx bolega...itne formal kabse ho gaye hum dono...
