Chapter 2

Vikram put his arm around my shoulders and we walked back to my room. I have never felt so depressed in life and it feels worse than when Manik left me and sent me back to my home. When we got back to my room, Neyonika hold me tight and vikram gave a sigh I saw navya waiting there. I went over to my bed and looked down at my hands, "He doesn't remember me" I told her. "What?" she asked and with a jerk stood up. "He doesn't remember me to him it's 1950 I'm not his wife and Alya is" I said running my hand under my eyes when a tear escape. "How am I supposed to deal with this?" I asked and touched my belly. "nandini everything will be fine" said neyonika "how neyonika how everything will be fine did you saw how he was he doesn't even remember me he didn't even touched my belly he wanted a family, kids, life and now he is the one who doesn't even care about them what am I supposed to do about it" I cry tears fall fast from my eyes can't bear the thought of him being away from me. This is not how I thought life will be for me

"nandini just don't worry about it" Vikram said and I looked up at him confused and shocked. "You don't have time to worry about him his memory will recover but your still are a princess and most important you are pregnant you need to keep yourself fit and fine". I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. What he is saying is true, but it still hurts and I can't help it. It's killing me right now Manik doesn't love me he loves Alya. Tears slid down my cheeks and neyonika pulled me into her chest and rubbed my back. "All will be okay honey just give it some time he will be back to you where else will he go" said neyonika and I just cry when a thought strike me "who were those people who attacked us all?" neyonika and vikram looked at each other "you guys know who they were?" I asked seeing their faces "Nandini right now it's best if you focus on yourself, Manik and the babies we will handle them" vikram said to me "who were they?" I asked again I need to know who did this who ruined my life "nandini just calm down will you if they are saying they can handle it then they can just relax" navya told me "I can't relax navya I just can't they took him away from me how can I rel.." I touched my belly pain winced inside "ahhh" "Nandini are you okay?" said neyonika and ran and hold me tight "just little cramps am fine these two little ones are missing there father I think" I remember how manik use to calm them down every time they kicked they love him so much tears which stopped a while ago start flowing again "nandini just rest okay" said navya and all left from the room

Dear diary

I still remember that day when I woke up in a room I had no idea where I was whom I saw at the party walked in towards me I was so scared I knew he was not a human the way he walked his blue eyes I stood up from the bed to move back when I was about to fall he quickly came and took hold of me I look at him at that very moment one thing which was weird that I was drawn to him he really changed my world

Flashback

"Steady" the voice whispered in my ear "I won't harm you" The voice sent shivers through my body making me feel tingly. I turned around to see the most hot and sexy man I had ever come across. Every feature was well defined on his face a clean shaven strong jaw, his eyes, blue eyes that caught me. His black hair fell messily on his forehead. He wore a black V-necked shirt and dark blue well-fitted jeans hung on his waist. But he had a strong aura around him. "Dark and handsome" I thought to myself. I had forgotten that I had stopped breathing, slapping myself mentally for gawking at him. His hands were on my waist. I felt safe and warm. It was the first time that a man had held me this way. I blushed thinking about it. He must have seen me blush because he brushed his knuckles softly on my cheek. This made my eyes go wide and blush more; so much that I had to turn my head sideways to prevent the stranger from seeing it. "Who are you?" I ask him he was staring at me "you know who I am it's just you don't want to believe it?" "How am I here?" I ask avoiding answering that "what you saw tonight that scared you and you fainted so I had to bring you here" I look around "what is this place?" "That is my home" I looked at him

"your home this looks like a freaking castle wow wait a min are you a king?" he smiled he has such a beautiful smile it totally takes my breath away "nope my father is am a prince" I saw him staring at me "you know nandini you can't tell this to anyone about me and my world?" I tried to avoid him saying this and making me remind who he is what he is I just nod I was not scared but this is too much for me. "Where do you stay?" he questioned me. "at north west street?" "Let's get you back home" he said holding his hand out for me. I gave him my hand "At midnight so late what were you doing walking alone Nandini you know it is all not same over here?" he raised his eyebrow, making him look more intimidating. "Yes actually I was walking home I was at a party you were there too I saw you? And most important how do you know my name?" I asked as we walked "you ask too many questions do you know that?" he said looking at me. "and you don't answer them" I said "well because I don't want too" I looked at him again why is he so weird and rude well I guess vampires are like this "well come here" he took me in his arms I was shocked first "it is kinds of weird that you are not scared of me just even time I say something you just get your eyes big" "ummm" I tried to say something but words didn't form up not knowing what to say.

Here I was being carried like a princess by a hot prince. "let's get you how now close your eyes" I did as he said for the first time I was obeying someone without even asking any questions within seconds i heard his voice "open your eyes" as I did I was in my room tucked in my bed I looked up to see he was standing and looking at me "what were you doing at this party?" I asked him "just like that was bored in my world so came down here" he chuckled darkly. "Really" I asked he just nodded. "What's your name?" I asked him he kept staring with those big dark blue eyes "you know my name I don't know how but you do so I should know yours too I guess?" he kept looking still I had a feeling he won't tell "Manik my name is Manik Malhotra" Manik I thought this name really suits him, after a while I glanced at him only to meet his piercing eyes directed at me. I suddenly lowered my eyes, feeling so conscious that I wanted to hide in my blanket. When I peeked again a small smile played at the corner of his lips. I couldn't comprehend how good looking he was, and he seemed nice too. "Well nandini good night and good bye" he said and moved to leave "so will we meet again?" I asked him as he turned to go "no we will not" he said in a very different manner and all the thoughts of him being nice were gone away and before I could ask anything else who was that guy why was he feeding on someone how all this is connected to my world he left

Flashback ends

I stopped writing it was passed midnight but sleep was really away from my eyes I touched my belly the kids were quietly sleeping I smiled how much he was happy when he heard the first heartbeat of our babies and before I could go in another flashback I heard light knocks at my door and just getting confused, I got up and opened the door My eyes widen slightly, "Manik" "Uh-um" he whispered awkwardly, shifting his weight on one leg. "You mentioned something that is on my mind since I woke up" Knowing what he meant I nodded and moved so he could come in. he came and stood in center of the room and looked around this room was my old room when we were engaged I miss our room a lot it was our home but now... he was feeling to awkward being in here I could feel he turned and looked at me I saw him staring at my belly "Are they really mine?" he asked and I stared at him what to tell him tears formed in my eyes so I just nodded he came close to me "may I?" he asked I nodded again he slowly lifted his hands and touched my belly sending shivers to my body it is been so long since he touched me I stare into his eyes just when the babies kicked I looked at him he was standing like he had frozen his hands were stuck on my belly I knew he was feeling them 24hours passed and finally the babies kicked again just for him there father tears make their way from my eyes "Manik" I called his name but no reply I called him again when he started at the belly and caressed it "they kicked" I nodded "they really did just for you" a small smile came on his face but he didn't said anything but removed his hand and stood away from me as he did that I felt all this second what ever happened was a dream that faded away "manik" I called for him "my father told me everything what happened and how it happened" he said without looking at me "but I don't remember any of it" I walked to him and tried holding his hand but he took it away i took a deep breath trying to keep myself calm "manik you will remember just give it time" I try to pacify "I have to go you should rest" and within a second he left the room leaving me all alone in there
