CHAPTER 9
Manik p.o.v.
"woh navya was saying that ..." she said slowly. and hearing navya name my breath become uneven . what if she said everything to nandani.
" kya kaha navya nai'i asked her quickly.
"woh.. she said she doesn't want to be my friend " nandani said almost on a verge of crying.
" she is my first friend .. and she said me to stay away from her ..."and tear make its way.
I take a breath of relief hearing that but it didn't last long as i heard her sniffing.i looked at her she is crying. suddenly i felt guilty becoz i know navya said that becoz we told her so.
"hey don't cry ..plz" i said softly hugging her sitting beside her.i couldn't believe my own voice . it automatically become soft and tender whenever i talk to her.
but again i heard her silent sobs.and i felt killing myself .she is so naive and innocent .and suddenly an idea strike me.
"ok listen..i will talk to her .i will tell her not to break friendship with u ok" i said in a tone like a father used to his daughter.
what the hell is happening with me?.
she tilted her face slightly from my arms and looked at me with her crystal blue teary eyes.
"really" she asked.
"ummhmm... really now stop crying" i said removing her hair from her face wiping the tears.
and finally she smile. and hug me.it feel great having her this close to me.
"thank u" she said sweetly.
"but abhi tak yeh hua nahi hai"
"toh ho jaiga , tumne jo kaha hai" she said cutely and i was clean bowled on her cuteness. oh god.
suddenly her phone rang .
" hello bhai" she said
" yeah I'm coming"
" chalo bhai ne canteen me bulaya hai" she said and get up.
"umm.. tum chalo mein abhi ata hu".i said i have to go to meet cabir and then navya.
she nodded obediently and went toward the canteen.
A she vanished from my sight .i called cabir asking him to meet me asap at music room.

MUSIC ROOM,SPACE.
"kya hua hai" cabir said as he enter the music room.
"nandani is upset ... navya said her to stay away from her." manik said worriedly.
"so that's good right that's what we want" cabir said casually. sitting on chair.
" no cabir its. not nandani was crying .. and i promise her that i will talk to navya for patch up".manik said.
" she is crying" cabir shout jerking up from his sit. from yesterday night. his guilt and her innocence is making him to accept her as his sister.and now he can't tolerate anything that hurt her.
"wait . what u told her that u will talk to navya" cabir said looking at manik . he nodded and run his long finger on his hair.
" what u gonna say to her huh?"cabir said mockingly.
" not i ,we are going to talk to her." manik exclaimed pointing at him.cabir looked at him.
" she was really very upset" he said slowly

"sorry , hume maaf kardijeye par hum ajj ke baad nandani se kabhi baat nahi karenge plz sorry"navya was continuously chattering this words when manbir came to meet her .without even listening them.
"SHUT UP"manik roared looking really pissed off by her rants.
Navya cover her mouth with both her hand to shut her rants.
"now listen to me u will direct go to nandani and will say sorry to her for ur behavior and then patch up with her. get it"manik said with cold voice which make her literally shivered in her place.
"i said get it" manik yelled which make her jump on her place and she nodded. cabir was trying hard not to laugh seeing her like that.
"bu..but u.only..said.tha..t" she stammered.
"what did we said madhubala?" cabir said glaring at her.
"nothing... kuch bhi nahi" she said quickly .
" good ...aur agar tumne kuch kaha usse tohh...tum janti ho hum kya kar sakte hai."he said dangerously.
she shake her head up and down.
"just behave with her normally... and don't upset her now onward" manik said .she again nodded.
manbir looked at her last time and turned to go.
She let out her breath wiping the sweat that cover her forehead.but somewhere she is happy too. as she also doesn't want to lose friend like nandani .
she was angry on herself for behaving with nandani like that. but they didn't left her any choice . they threatened her to expelled her from college . and she definitely can't afford that . she was from small town and came mumbai to fulfill her dreams . so she feared that it will ruin her future . but now no more problem. she sigh.
"chalo inn rakshaseso ne kuch toh acha kam kiya" she said and went for search of nandani.
CANTEEN.
mukti was tapping her finger on table taking glance of nandani who was sitting opposite of her. whenever mukti turned her face toward nandani . she smiled sweetly at her.mukti smile awkwardly at her. cursing her friends for abundaning her in this situation.
actually bat yeh hai ki ..
aliya was having headache so dhruv went to dropped her home.
cabir and manik went to talk with navya and when she think that she will spend sometime with abhi ..he get called from raghav sir to come there asap.
so all and all. she is alone in canteen with nandani.. or for her she stuck with nandani.
"y don't u order something i will just be back ok?" mukti said and got up but only to stop as nandani hold her hand and look at her with puppy face.
" i can't eat akele akele" she said cutely .mukti sigh .this little girl surely know how to melt rock heart. she sit and order sandwiches for both of them when suddenly she heard a voice which definitely she doesn't want to hear.
"hey mukti... how are u?" boy said
"more than fine. .. .harshad" she said with attitude.
"wow ... u are looking more hot today"he said checking her out.
"shut up" she yelled . when his eyes fell on nandani ..who was witnessing the whole scene looking little horrified as it was the first time.
"now who is this gorgeous?"he said and walked toward her but was stopped as mukti stood between them. nandani hold her hand tightly.
"stay away from her" she warned.
"impressive first time u are protecting someone other than fab 5" he looked surprised on mukti sudden reaction.
"get hell out of here ... harshad agar manik ko pata chala toh thik nahi hoga"
" u think i afraid of manik ha. "he said and grab her arm she struggle in his grip.he came dangerously close to her lips when something wet and sticky fell from his hair. he looked up only to cover up by ketchup.
yes when nandani saw him misbehaving with mukti .she take nearby ketchup bottle and pour it down his head .
Harshad face was red with anger. all other student were laughing hard including mukti.he looked at nandani and was about to grab her wrist
"you little bit..." before he complete his sentence .he was lying on floor and blood is oozing out of his nose. becoz manik punched him so hard that he fell on the floor
"STAY AWAY" he roared .making all students shivered due to fear.
In the same time abhi also came on there and looked at horrified nandani. he ran toward and hug her .
"what happened" he asked slowly. when his eyes fell on harshad.
harshad stand up stopping the bleed from his nose.He looked at manik shocked. and anger lashed in his face. but manik was again stepped toward him only to stop by cabir.
" manik jane de" he said slowly.
harshad glared at nandani .
" u have to pay for this" he said to her and went outside the canteen.
As soon as he went out manik throw nearby chair almost breaking it.
Nandani gasped loudly hugging abhi tightly.
"shhh... it's ok' he said patting her head.
manik turn to looked at her .his eyes was red with anger but suddenly become soft seeing her.he stepped toward her but she flinched in abhi arms. This hurt manik .
she was scared ...scared of him. he didn't want this ..he never want to see that her innocent eyes having fear ...fear of him..
He turned around and stormed out of catneen. without saying anything.

First toh I'm so sorry for late update. i thought no one is interested in this story but ur response make me feel happy .
well most of the readers suggest me that nandani should speaks more and chapter should be long so i hope it is Upto ur expectations.becoz i can manage this much only right now.many of u may think y harshad didn't fight back with manik?well for that u have to wait to get answers.
