Nandini : I'll get a...
Manik : You'll get this...
And he started tickling her without giving her time to react.
Nandini : Hahahha...Man..Manik...plss..stopp!
Manik : Aree why? This is ur punishment so...
Nandini : Ma..Manik...plss...hahaha!
Finally after 5 mins he stopped tickling her and sat beside her. Nandini too straightened herslf and sat beside him nt before givin him a glare. He chuckled seeing that.
After resting for 2mins Nandini turned towards Manik who was resting with his eyes closed.
Without a second she started hitting him startling him.
Nandini : Idiot! Stupid! Monster!
Manik : Nandini stop! Kya kar rahi ho?? Are Nandini...
But she paid no heed to him & kept on hitting him. Finally he held her hand to stop her bt she still didnt stop instead kept on trying to get out of his grip.
Having no other option Manik pulled her close to him with a jerk & said "NANDINI STOP OR ELSE I'LL KISS YOU!!"
Nandini stopped at that instance & her eyes bulged out of its socket. While a small gasp escaped from her mouth. Seeing her state Manik couldnt control any longer & he burst out laughing.
Manik : Hahaha Nandini look at your face...
It took her a few mins to register what all was happening. When she realised that he was making fun of her she got up angrily.
Nandini : Manikk!! You know what I HATE YOU!!😡
Manik stopped laughing and ran towards her who was goin to step out of the room.
Manik : Acha acha Sorry! I was just joking yar!
But Nandini ignored him & turned her face. Manik held his eyes & said "Sorry" making a cute puppy face. She looked at him with the corner of her eyes & smiled. Manik also smiled seeing her smiling & instantly turned her & hugged her.
First she was startled by the sudden hug but then hugged him back. After that they left for home as they were late plus others also had messaged them that they are leaving.
Next Day
Nandini got ready for college & stepped out of her house. Same time Manik also came out of his house. He saw Nandini walking ahead of him.
He called her 'Nandini'
She turned & smiled at him. He too smiled and reached near her.
Manik : Chalo! Lets go!
Nandini (innocently) : Kaha?
Manik (mockingly) : Merk Chachi ke ghar!
Nandini : Are par main tumhari Chachi ke ghar kyu aau??
Manik : Are meri Motii college jaane ke liye bola.
Nandini : Toh tum seedhe seedhe nhi bata sakte the? Aisa bolne ki kya jarurat thi? Agar tum...
Her vocals died in her throat coz Manik picked her up in his arms and started walking towards his car.
Nandini just kept staring at his face. She could feel butterflies in her stomach. A new feeling was arising! But what?
Manik was looking ahead but was vry well aware of her gaze. He smiled inwardly but didnt look at her as he knew as soon as he would look at her she would be embarassed.
Soon they reached the car & Manik put her on the seat & then he came towards the driving seat & sat. The drive was silent as they didnt knew what to say. Both kept stealing glances every now and then. Nandini kept on looking outside the window.
Manik looked at her and found a red tint on her cheeks & EUREKAA she was blushing 😳
But still no one spoke so Manik thought that she felt bad. Soon they reached college & Manik parked the car. Nandini came out & started walking bt Manik came from behind and held her hand.
She turned to him & Mr. Malhotra started his ranting...
"Nandini I'm sorry agar tumhe bura laga to..actually main woh...woh..."
But his eyes widen in shock and his hand reached on his left cheek. While he kept on looking at his figure until it disappeared.
Actually when he was busy ranting non stop...
FLASHBACK
Manik : Nandini I'm sorry agar tumhe bura laga to..actually main woh...woh..."
Suddenly Nandini kissed his left cheek and said "Manik you are so cutee" pulling the same cheek.
And then she ran away from there.

Nandini came running to the class and sat beside Mukti. All were looking at her as if she was an alien.
Cabir : Nandu koi bhoot dekh liya ya phir koi kutta piche pada hai??😲
Nandini :Whatt?? Shutup Cabir wo I thought main late ho jaungi isilye...
Before she could complete Manik entered the class with a smirk looking at Nandini and sat beside Cabir.
Nandini didnt look at him and started talking with Mukti.
Here Manik kept on staring Nandini unaware that someone was calling him.
Cabir : Manik! Maanik! Maaanikkk!!
Manik jumped on his place while others started gaping at the two of them angrily.
Manik : Idiot! Pagal ho gaya hai kya?? Chilla kyu raha hai?? Gadha kahi ka!
Cabir : Haww😲 Kabse tujhe bula raha hu..Behra hai kya??
Manik : Cabirr tu naa marega ek din mere haato😡
Just then the professor entered and evrybody straightened themselves.
Lectures were going on bt none paid heed to it.
Manik-Cabir were busy with pen fighting angrily.
Alya-Dhruv were busy staring at each other.
Navya-Abhimanyu were trying to concentrate but failed as Mukti-Nandini were throwing paper balls on them.
Finally after good 45mins lecs got over & all of them rushed out. All 8 of them were busy walking in the corridor talking with each other.
Cabir : Oh god! Finally khatam hogaye lecs. 🤢
Mukti : Seroiusly yaar! Kya torture kiya hai
Nandini was walking ahead of all of them when suddenly a guy came running from opposite direction & pushed Nandini and ran from there not before shouting a "Sorry".
Nandini was about to fall but Manik held her protectively in his arms. Her eyes were tightly shut due to fear. Whereas Manik was in his la la land.
Manik's POV
Oh god! She is soo cutee! I feel like staring at her all my life. But pehle kabhi aisa feel nhi hua...Toh phir what is this feeling? Do I like her?
Nandini slowly opened her eyes nt feeling the ground only to be drowned in 2 pair of brown chocolaty eyes. Their staring game broke with Cabirs voice.
Cabir : DO DIL MIL RAHE HAI MAGAR CHUPKE CHUPKE!
Both straightened themselves.
Navya : Tum thik ho na Nandini?
She nodded but this made Manik remind why they were in that position.
Manik : Who the hell was that? Abhi dikhata hu usse main😡
He started goin but Nandini held his hand and signalled him a 'No'
Manik : Nandini leave I need to teach him a lesson!
Nandini : Manik maine bola na No! No means No! Usne purposely aisa nhi kiya na..
Manik : Fine!
And went from there angrily! Nandini sighed and said all of them to return to their homes and she will handle him.
All agreed as only she could hamdle him in this situation.
She knew where he would be so made her way towards the store room.
She opened the door slowly only to find him punching a bag angrily to vent out his anger.
She called him 'Manik'
No response
'Manik'
No response
Finding no other option she went and stood infront of him due to which he stopped punching.
Manik : Nandini leave!
Nandini : No!
Manik : Nandini I said Leave!😡
Nandini : And I said No! Manik tum itna gussa kyu kar rahe ho?? I'm fine see...
Manik : Agar tumhe kuch ho jata to..
Nandini : Par hua toh nhi na Manik..
Manik : So you expect me to wait fr that time when something happens to you 😡
Nandini : Manik par...
Manik : Oh enough Nandini😡
Nandini : Oh enough Manik😡
Both turned their faces away. Manik started leaving bt Nandini held his hand & looked at him helplessly.
She came infront of him & held bpth his hands.
Nandini : Manik aik baari meri baat sunlo. Tumhe kya lagta hai Manik agar galti se main kisiko dhaka maar doon aur saamne wala mjhe maarne yaa kuch bhi bolne aaye to tum kya karoge?
Manik : I'll kill him! Tum intentionally thodi dhaka maarogi!
Nandini : Exactly toh main yehi samjana chahti hu usne mjhe intentionally dhaka nhi mara & he also said sorry aur wo tumne bhi suna tha na??
Manik sighed & nodded. Nandini smiled. He then pulled her for a hug to relax himself.
But...
This hug was different from all the hugs. New feelings were arising in both of them. He hugged her tightly like she was going to vanish the moment he'll leave her. She too hugged him back tightly.
Manik nuzzled his nose in the nape of her neck while Nandini gasped with this sudden touch. She felt a current running through her whole body. Manik smirked seeing his effect on her. But he was too lost in her. He kept on nuzzling while unknowingly a moan escaped from her mouth.
"Manik"
This aroused him more & hence he placed a long kiss on her neck due to which she shivered and felt weak in her knees. He moved from her neck and came close to her lips. Her eyes were closed. He was goin to approach them but then...
Tak! Tak!
Nandini opened her eyes and moved backwards. Manik too felt embarassed. Nandini was blushing like hell & looking here & there but him! Manik saw Nandini and was goin to say something but again...
Tak! Tak!
Nandini : Manik yeh kaisi aawaz thi??
Manik : Pata nhi??
Then suddenly Nandini saw a rat and she started screaming.
Nandini : Aahh!! Manik Rat! Aaahh! Bachaoo..
Manik : Nandini!
Nandini : Manik rat...Manik bachaoo...
Then she came running to him and hugged him tightly. Manik smiled and hugged her lifting her a little up from the ground!
After 5 mins
Nandini : Manik rat gaya?
Manik looked here and there and noticed that the rat was gone. But he didnt want to let her go. So he said...
Manik : No abhi bhi yahi hai...dont move niche hi hai!
Nandini hugged him more tightly and said "Manik plss dont leave me!"
Manik : Never😆
And he went back to his work which he was doin i.e. nuzzling in her neck. But this time Nandini didnt notice as she was scared!
