Chapter 2(A)
Manik walked towards them fuming in anger. As soon as he reached there he pulled Nandini towards him & held her tightly from her waist & said gritting his teeth , "Nandu!"
Nandini's eyes popped out & she was lookin at Manik with her open mouth. While Aryaman was a bit irritated when Manik called her Nandu.
Aryaman : Umm..Manik! Woh tum toh Nandini ko kabhi Nandu nhi bulate...Motii haa...tum toh motii bulate the...toh phir tum...
Manik : Lisn! Mein chahe Nandini ko kuch bhi bulau tumhe usse kya karna hai? Tum apne kaam se kaam rakho. Samjhe!
Nandini : Manik! Woh sirf puch raha hai. Tum aise kyu bol rahe ho?
Aryaman smirked on her answer while Manik got more angry.
Manik : Ohh! Toh tumhe bhi janna hai ki maine tumhe Nandu kyu bulaya haina?? Yaa phir bura laga tumhe? Kyu NANDINI? You know what fine I'll not call uh that!
Nandini : Manik lisn..I didnt mean that..mein toh bass...
Manik : Bye!
Aryaman who was just listening to their conversation was smirking on their fight & was a lil happy. Manik was damn angry & he stormed out of there. Nandini also ran behind him calling his name but he paid no heed to it.
Cabir,Dhruv,Abhi,Alya,Mukti & Navya had no idea about it as they were busy somewhere else. Here Nandini was continuously calling him & trying to stop him.
Nandini : Manik! Manik pls meri baat toh suno aik baari...manik plss ruko toh sahi..
Manik was just walking angrily & fast. Like this they reached their home with Manik angry & Nandini behind him trying to stop him. He went to his house & just locked himself in his room. Here Nandini then sadly went to her house but what she saw made her shocked!
Nandini : Maa yeh sab...
Shilpa : Haa nandu, aa gayi tu! Chal meine tera saaman pack kar diya hai...tu check karle kuch reh toh nahi gya naa...
Nandini : Maa lekin hum jaa kaha rahe hai??
Shilpa : Aree haa tujhe batana toh bhool hi gayi. Woh teri Amms ka phone aaya tha...unhone bulaya hai..teri holidays shuru hogayi hai naa aur Amms bhi bohot yaad kar rhi hai...isiliye hum wahan 2 hafto ke liye jaa rahe hai!
Nandini shocked : WHAT! 2 HAFTE??
Shilpa : Aree itna kyu chilla rahi hai tu??
Nandini : Umm...woh...kuch nhi. Par Maa sirf 2 bags kyu hai?? Papa ki bag kaha hai??
Shilpa : Tere Papa nhi aa rhe..unhe kuch kaam hai isilye sirf hum dono hi jaa rhe hai. Acha chal ab bohot baate ho gayi...jaa jakar fresh hoja phir kuch naashta kar le...hume nikalna hai.
Nandini sadly : Ok Maa!
She ran upstairs & first thing she called Manik. Here Manik avoided her call & kept his phone on silent mode & went to sleep. Nandini tried almost 20 times bt no response. She even sent messages to him bt on getting no response she got angry & stopped calling him.
After 25mins she & her mom got ready to go to Mangalore. Nandini was still hoping that Manik would call back or atleast message her. But No! He didnt. This irritated her even more! Shilpa wanted to meet Manik bt then Reshma told her that he was sleepin n not even opening the door. So they left fr train at 5pm.
Here Manik woke up at 7pm & lazily took his phone to check & got shocked to see 25 missed calls & 10 messages from Nandini. He thought that he overreacted & felt a lil guilty. He quickly opened her messages & read them..
"Manik plss phone uthao"
"Manik plsss"
"Ek baari baat toh sun lo"
"I know tum gussa ho bt plss lisn to me naa"
"Where are you?"
"I know you reading my msgs, atleast ek rply to kar do.."
"Manik" :/
"Nahi baat karni...fine then!"
"Last tym puch rahi hu...baat karni hai??"
"FINE!! I'M GOING!!"
He read the msgs & fell on the bed cursing himself. But the next moment got up with a jerk yelling "I'M GOING??? SHIT!" He ran downstairs & rushed out his house to go to her house. He entered & saw Maan sitting & doing some work on his laptop.
Manik : Dad!
Maan : Are Manik aao...waha kyu khade ho??
Manik came inside & sat beside him bt his eyes were searching for her. Maan didnt notice this as he was busy in his work. After some time Manik asked him.
Manik : Umm..woh Dad..Mom kaha hai??
Maan : Aree beta tumhe nhi pata??
Manik gave a confused look to him.
Maan : Woh tumhari Mom aur Nandu 2 hafto ke liye Mangalore gayi hai. Woh Amma ne bulaya tha sabko par mujhe yaha par bohot kaam tha isliye mein nhi jaa paya.
Manik : KYA??? 2 HAFTE??
Maan : Manik kya hua?? Chilla kyu rha hai??
Manik : Woh...woh...kuch nhi Dad...main abhi aaya.
He ran from there to call Nandini bt as soon as he reached his house Reshma informed her that Shilpa had come to meet him before going but as he was sleepin & not opening the door also she had left. After hearing this he cursed him even more. He took his phone & called Nandini but she didng answer his calls & later her phone was switchef off. He even called Shilpa bt her phone was also comin switched off.
On the other hand Shilpa & Nandini reached Mangalore & they were welcomed there. Amms was a lil strict & there were rules of discipline- like waking up at 4am in morning, breakfast at 7am, NO CELL PHONES. And due to this as soon as they reached there they had to give away their cell phones. And if Maan wanted to talk then he would have to call them on landline.
Nandini had informed all others about her sudden departure. Cabir,Dhruv,Abhi,Mukti,Alya & Navya all of them had wished her happy journey. They couldnt come to meet her as it was all of a sudden so they had no time. Nandini was a bit irritated with these rules as she was nt at all an early riser. But she respected & loved her Amms alot so she decided to change her habits for her Amms.
Manik again went to Maan & asked him, "Dad! Woh Mom phone kyu nhi utha rahi?? Maine Nand...matlab Motii ko bhi phone lagaya par usne bhi nahi uthaya.
Maan : Aree ab teri baat unn dono se 2 hafto baad hi hogi.
Manik : Whattt?? Par aisa kyu??
Maan : Isliye kyunki waha cell phones are nt allowed & ab tak toh dono ke phone le bhi liye honge..
Manik sat on the sofa with a thud as if lost everythng in life & just said "AIYAPAA"
