CHAPTER 7
FLASHBACK CONTINUE...
A big mansion with the lavish and spellbound outer looks. There was a beautiful garden accompanying with a parking area at left side and walking way in between which is lead to a lavish door of the mansion. Soon a black merc enter in the mansion and manan came out of the car. Nandini first observe the surrounding and stated "Beautiful... It's very beautiful mani..." "Yes... it is...Actually dad likes the greenery around so..." She just hmmed still in trance of beautiful garden and then they both entered the mansion which is almost two times bigger than mumbai's mansion. They settle themselves on couch due to tiredness of flight and soon a butler came and give them water and juice and also took their order for lunch as Mr. Malhotra already instructed the every servant of mansion to take good care of their children. But Nandini said to butler "Thank you. But I will cook the lunch today." Listening this manik said abruptly "And who gave you the permission to cook. You are not going to do such stuffs. We have enough butlers here na, you only say what you want." "But mani... I want to cook for papa for the first time and also I can't take risk with your diet food na." Nandini said all this making pleading pout which is almost impossible for manik to deny and he said "okay but for the last time." Then he almost whispered near her ear "And don't make such adorable expressions, I can't kiss in front of a servant." Her face flushed and She immediately changed her expressions and turn to butler to give him the instruction about the ingredients she needs for cooking and then they both went to manik's room for freshen up.
Nandini entered the room and first thing she saw made her smile with her full heart. There was a big picture hanging on the front wall of the room of manik and his dad. She thought that both the men looking handsome and looking like each other's mirror reflection. The room was neat and clean and the furniture was the way manik like. Nandini adores the room for a while and said hugging manik "Papa loves you so much manik." Manik just smile heartily at her as she manage to know everything about his life and then just hmmmed peaking her temple.
When Mr. Malhotra came he saw manik was seating at couch and going through some magazines whereas nandini was arranging the lunch to the dining table with the butler. He said sternly "Can't you guys manage on your own? What was the need make my daughter work?" The butler gulp his saliva down watching his master's wrath as he knew what was coming next. But to rescue the poor soul nandini said abruptly "Actually papa I want to cook today for you so... he's not at fault" Meanwhile Manik signals the butler to go from there as he knew his father's anger is just like his, he won't spare him if he saws him now. Then Mr. Malhotra said "But what was the need to doing such stuff bacha... You could have burn your finger..." Listening this manik smiled at his father's same concerned nature like him and nandini said mockingly "Ya so I was right as father as son." Both Malhotra men chuckled at her statement and then nandini said "ap fresh hoke jaldise ajaiye dad. Mei tab tak plates laga deti hu." "No ways.. tumne khana banaya na that's more than enough, now you seat here as butler will do that everything." Stating this he excused himself and then manik pulled nandini and made her sit beside him on couch and said "See I told you na not to cook" Nandini rolled her eyes and kept mum as she knew arguing with Malhotra men is not at all a wise idea.
They trio soon finished their lunch where Mr. Malhotra made the pool of nandini's culinary skills. Then they settled themselves on couches, manik and nandini seated both sides of their dad. Then Mr. Malhotra took out a gift packed box and take nandini's hands and place the box on her hands very lovingly. Manan first confusingly look at their dad and manik was about to say something when Mr. Malhotra said "First open the box princess." Nandini opened the box and found a beautiful diamond necklace in it.

Mr. Malhotra said looking at her face "This is a small gift from me for you princess. I wanted to thank you for be with my son all the time when he needed. I know I have to be with him in this phase but I'm not. But I'm glad that you are with him and taking care of him. Thank you so much beta." When he ended his talk, his eyes become moist with the pain he was carrying with him. Manan's eyes become also moist seeing him and they hug him from both the side and nandini said "Don't say like that papa. Aap to muje apni beti bolte ho na to fir... apni beti ko koi thank you thodina bolta hei...right manik?" manik immediately answered "Yes... right nandini." Mr. Malhotra smile at their children and then said to nandini "bdw kaisa laga tumhe ye necklace beta? It's belongs to our ancestors. And now you are would be manik's bride so it's belongs to you." "It's very beautiful papa. And I love it. I promise I ll always keep this safe with me." "I know beta and I trust you on that. You know pehle meine ise niyonika ko diya tha but that was my biggest mistake." Mr. Malhotra said last words with so much of hurts and Nandini saw that both the father and son's face filled with anger and hurt with just name of niyonika. She thought to herself that she always try to keep that lady away from her beloved papa and manik. Then she said lighting the atmosphere in her very cute expression "Papa... It's so beautiful necklace. Can I try it now?" And her trick worked as both the Malhotra men's attention turned towards her and Mr. Malhotra said "afgors my princess. You don't need to ask me as it's yours now. You can surely try." And she said "Thank you papa. Manik help me please." "Okay" Than manik made her wear the necklace and she than turned to Mr. Malhotra and said childishly "How's it looking papa?" "It's looking good but you are looking beautiful princess. But han one thing I surly want to tell you that don't break it into pieces like last time. I know you broke that artifice of our ancestors when you were angry on manik at your starting days of collage." (If you guys remember in episode 12 nandini broke an artifice of manik's home which is given to their ancestors as a gift.) Mr. Malhotra said it mockingly and listening his words nandini's mouth opened in O' and manik starts laughing heartedly. Nandini glared at him first and then said hanging her head in embracement "Sorry papa. I didn't knew that was so much of important." Mr. Malhotra said "Are no princess. Don't say sorry." Then manik said "Dad was just pulling your leg nandu. Hahaha..." Nandini made a cute pout and then Mr. Malhotra said kissing her forehead "yes that was important but not more than my princess." Listening this loving words tears roll down from nandini's eyes and she hugged him tightly and said "Thank you papa." Manik was watching everything with so much of content feeling to having nandini in his life and how a bond between nandini and her father is becoming stronger.
The full day of manan pass in talking with their dad on each and everything they did in Denmark and then they had their dinner. Mr. Malhotra was gone to his room and manan were seating in the garden wrapped in a single shawl. Manik was as usual gazing his favorite stars and nandini was fiddling with his shirt button with her tiny fingers keeping her head on his heart. After sometime nandini abruptly roused her head up and started to kiss him very lovingly. First he was taken aback by sudden kiss but then responded back with more love. The kiss was slow yet passionate. They were sucking each other's lips with so much of love. They were kissing each other very tenderly. There was no harness or no lust as the kiss is filled with their love for each other. After seemed like eternity they pulled apart panting heavily and joined their forehead together and nandini said "Thank you manik for bringing a father in my life again." He understood her what she must be feeling now as she was so overwhelmed with dad's all gestures so she is saying this.
They were soothing in each other's embrace when manik's phone buzz. There was a massage from Aliya that they are boarding a flight from India for New York and navya was also accompanying her as nandini's chachi is taking care of abber. Manik told nandini about them and replied them that he will send the car for them when they landed in New York and then after meeting at Malhotra mansion they went to attend the mukti's concert and surprise her. Being a Malhotra, manik arranged VVIP passes for them for this big event also.
