She then found him sitting in garden quietly..

She then notice him being sad..

Nyo: Betaa mainey kaha thaa naa aapki dad ki kaam ki wajah se idhar aaye hain.. N baccha raha sawaal dosto kaa toh aap naa idhar naye banaalo..

Kitne insaan aatey hain kitne jaatey hain.. Zindagi mey hum har kisiko apne saath lekar nahi chal sakte hain... Issilye waqt aur haalaat ko samajh kar aagey badhnaa chaahiye...
Manik: Pal mom agal ( par mom agar) zindagi mey aisaa koi aaye jisey hum chodnaa naa chaahe toh..??

Daadi : Yeh hui naa baat... Chalo jaao n jada dur mat jana... Nayi jagah hain naa gum hogaye toh...
Manik: Okay dadi.. Bye..daadi,bye mom...
Saying this our chotu saa manik came out...
He saw many children playing... He also noticed a sweet girl sitting silently on a swing... He then notice a small boy came towards her n wish her "Happy bday"..
Then nxt moment she slapped the boy n he went frm there crying..
Manik got really angry seeing all this..
Manik to himself: Haww kitni gandi ladki hain.. Bechaale( bechaare) ne silf ( sirf) wish hi toh kiyaa thaa.. Issey toh main avi sabak sikhaa taa hu...
Saying this he went near the grl n pushed het frm the swing...
She fell down n ..!!
She looked towards the boy who pushed her..n shouted "Dhakka kyu diyaa mujhe...??"
Manik: Toh tumne uss ladke ko kyu maaraa thaa.. Silf( sirf) wish hi toh kal laha ( kar raha ) thaa naa..
Girl: Mujhe pasand nahi koi mujhe wish kaley( karey)...
Manik: Ajeeb ladki ho. Sabko toh wishes pasand hotey hain.. Aul(aur) mujhe toh bohot hi pasand hain.. Mele( mere) hal( har) bday mey sabse pehle meli( meri) mom wish kalti( karti) hain fil( fir) daadi n dad aul fil ( aur fir) di.. Mujhe toh jitne saale ( saare) wishes aul(aur) gift milte hain utnaa hi accha lagtaa hain...
Grl: Pal ( par) mujhe pasand nahi.. Tumhe koi ploblem( problem) hain...
Manik: Alley inna sala( sara) gussa.. Inna sala( sara) gussa lati kaha se ho..??
Grl: Tumse matlb.. Waisey vi vai ney ajnabi se baat kalne( karne) se manaa kiyaa hain..
Manik:Accha chalo pehle utho.. Saying this he forwarded his hand n she got up.. Now both of them were sitting on the bench...
Manik: Ek baat puchu..??
Grl: Haa pucho..!!
Manik: Tumhe wishes kyu pasand nahi..??
Grl:Aaj naa melaa bday hain pal( par) aaj naa meli( meri) maa ka deadth annivelsaly( anniversary) vi hain.. Mujhe janam dete waqt unki jaan chali gayi.. Meli wajah se hua...
Issilye main apna bday celeblate( celebrate) nahi kalti( karti) aul mujhe pasand vi nahi koi mujhe wish kaley( karey)...
Manik: M sholley... Mujhe tumhe aisey dhakka nahi denaa chaahiye thaa.. Woh toh mainey dekha ki tumne uss ladke ko mala( mara) issilye..
Grl: Koi baat nahi.. Tumhe nahi pata thaa naa issilye... Chalo chodo yeh sab tum bataao tum naye ho idhal( idhar)..?? Aaj tak toh kavi nahi dekhaa thaa..!!
Manik: Hmm main naa bas kal hi aayaa thaa idhal ( idhar).. Papa ki kaam ki wajah se..Koi dost vi nahi hain..
Grl: Koi ni.. Ab main hu na tumhaali dost...!!
Manik: Tum meli( meri) dost banogi...??
Grl: Hmm zalool( zaroor) banungi...
Manik: Thank u... Alley( arrey) idhal ( idhar) se to khoon araahaa hain( showing towards her elbows)
Grl:Hmm ab gil ( gir) gayi thi naa...
Manik: Mainey dhakka diyaa thaa naa.. Chalo mele( mere ghar) mey daadi sey bol kal( kar) dawaa lagwaa dungaa..
Grl: Nahi lehene( rehene) do.. Main ghar jaa kar vai se lagwaa lungi...
Manik: Pal ( par)
Grl: Pal wal ( par war) chodo.. Main jaati hu okaay.. Yeh dekho melaa ghal idhal hi hain( meraa ghar idhar hi hain) showing towards her house..
Manik: Yeh tumahala ghal hain aul yeh melaa( yeh tumhara ghar hain aur yeh meraa) .. Showing the house jst opposite of hers...
Grl: Alley itne paas paas...
Manik: Iskaa matlb hum loz loZ( roz roz) milenge..
Nandu:Haa.. Chalo ab chalti hu... Bye dost..
Grl: bye...
The girl walked a little n turned behind...
Grl: Dost... She shouted..
Manik came running near her..
Manik: Hmm..
Grl: Nandini Moolti( Moorty) n forwarded her hand for shake..
He smiled n shaked his hand n said "Manik Malhotlaa( Malhotra)"
She then left his hand n bid a good bye waving her hand n left...
Then after manik also went to his house happily...
He then told daadi abt his new frnd...
Daadi:Hmm so mere bacche ko ek frnd mil hi gayi...
Manik: Haa daadi.. Waisey nandini naa bohot hi acchi ladki hain...
Daadi:Accha toh aap kab milwaaogey daadi ko apni nayi frnd sey..??
Manik: Jab aap bolo... Woh naa saamne waali ghal ( ghar) mey hi rehti hain...
Daadi:Accha thik hain.. Fir toh main zaroor milungi..
Manik: Haa toh chalo naa avi milwaataa hu...
Nyo: Arrey yeh kissey milwaane lejaa rahe ho apni daadi ko???
Manik: Nandini se.. Meli( meri) nayi dost hain woh
Nyo: Hmm zaroor milwaanaa par filhaal mujhe,aur aapki daadi ko kahi bahar jaanaa hain toh aap tab tak servants aur maids k saath raho..
Manik: Thik hain... Said in low tone getting sad...

Manik to himself: Kya kalu( karu) kitnaa bole( bore) feel ho laha ( raha) hain. Di vi school gayi hain... Nandini k ghal ( ghar) jaau kyaa..?? Pal( par) agal ( agar) uske ghal( ghar) me kisi ne kuch kaha toh.. Main toh kisi ko nahi jaantaa.. Jaau yaa nahi...?? He was questioning himself when he heard someone calling his name...
The voice sounds to be familiar soon he recognized the owner of voice" Nandini"..
He came downstairs n saw nandini standing...
Manik: Alley nandini tum yaha...
Nandu: Haa oh vai school ke liye gaye hain aul papa apni office humeshaa ki talah( tarah) ghal( ghar) pal akeli...so issilye idhal( idhar) aagayi... Koi ploblem( problem) hai kyaa...??
Manik: Alley nahi.. Mele ghal pal ( mere ghar par ) vi koi nahi hain.. Akelaa bole ( bore) ho laha ( raha) thaa.. Acchha hua tum aagayi..
Chalo mele kamle ( mere kamre) mey.. Toys khelte hain...
Nandu: Okay chalo...
They played n played...
Soon days passed n passed n they became nandu n manu frm nandini n manik for each other...
They used to Spend the whole day together.. Some time chit chats, sometimes playing, sometimes cycling n doind different things...

7 yrs later...( At the age of 10)
They both were like inseparable part of each other...
Kehte hain naa waqt k saath riste aur vi geheraa hoteey jaataa hain here it goes... An unbrokeable frndship...
They use to spend all the time together.. Study in same school same class...
Infact manik waa so lazy ki woh kavi homeworkrs hi nahi kartaa thaa bt nandini use to do it for him taa ki ussko punishment naa miley...
Eat together whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner they always hv it together in same plate only... Sometimes at manik's house sometimes at nandini's...
Their family also goes owe seeing their frndship...
Night dinner time..
Everyone were having there dinner...
Like always manan were eating in same plate..
They use to eat less n fight more..
They divided the food in two parts n then eat equally bt humara manik shaitaaniyo sey piche kaisey hatey..??
Manik slowly put all his vegetables towards nandini 's side..
Nandu: Haww manu y r u cheating.. Apni vegetables khud hi khaao naa..
Manik: Manik Malhotra kavi cheating nahi kartaa.. Yeh vegetables tumhaare hi hain.. Khud khaa nahi paati aur sara ilzaam mujh par lagaati ho ..
Nandu: Don't u knw jhoot bolnaa paap hotaa hain..
Manik: Exactly nandu so jhoot mat bolo maa finish up ur food n vegetables...
Nandu: Yeh vegetables tumhaari hain..

Daadi: Ab bas vi karo.. Kal se alag alag plate mey khana... Toh koi jhagada nahi hogaa..
Manan in unison"Alag alag' then they both looked towards each other..
Manik: No no .. No jhagada.. This one was my part mey khataa hu.. Bt alag alag nahi.. Meri bst frnd hain i will eat wid her only..
Harshad: yeh log vi naa...
Mukti: Bachpan se hi made for each other...
Soon they completed dinner n went to sleep...
Nandu goes to manik's house morning at 9 0' clock...
Nandu: Maa manu kaha hain...?? ( yeah she use to call her maa as manik asked her to call her maa and even nyonika treated her like her own daughter too...after meeting nyonika she nvr felt that she don't hv a mother..)
Nyo:Arrey nandu betaa aap uthgaye... Aapka pyaaraa manu toh ab tak so raha hain...!!

Nandu:Thank u maa.. Aap bohot achi ho.. Saying this she kissed her cheeks n left towards manik's room...
She opened the door n found manik sleeping..
Nandu:Offo.. Yeh manu vi naa kitnaa sotaa hain.. Subah k 9 baj gaye hai aur yeh ladkaa ab tak so raha hain... Chal nandu tujhe hi issey sudharnaa hogaa...
Saying this she climed up on his bed... N slowly patted his bck...
Manik:Offo mumma soney donaa...!!
Nandu:Arrey maa nahi.. Nandu hu..
Manik:Hmmm..
Saying this he fully covered himself wid blanket...
Nandu:Hmm kyaa..?? Arrey manu utho naa subah k 9 baj gaye hain..!!
Manu:Nandu yaar aaj toh chutti hain naa plz yaar soney do naa...
Nandu:Chutti hain toh kyaa ..?? Itni der tak nahi sotey.. School mey mam ne kaha thaa der tak sona is bad habit.. N tum bad boy thodi naa ho..
Manik; Nandu yaar tum vi kaha mam k baato mey aagai... Woh toh sab galat galat sikhaati hain...
Nandu: Kya manu kuch vi boley jaa rahe ho... Mam kyu galat sikhaaengi...??
Manu: Arrey nandu tum kitni voli ho kisi ki baato mey vi aajaati ho...
Dekho sleeping yaani taking rest n rest karnaa is good for health.. Hai ki nahi..??
Nandu: Haa hain...
Manik: Toh see m also resting naa... N its good for my health...toh fir sleeping kaha se bad vi hui..??
Nandu: Hmm tumhaari baat vi sahi hain...
Manik: Waisey soney aur khaaney me jo mazaa hain woh aur kahi vi nahi hain... Chalo aao tum vi so jaao...
Nandu: Okay.. Wait wait.. Tum firse mujhe apni baaton mey fasaa rahe ho... Main tumhaari baaton mey nahi aaney waali... Chalo get up..
Manik: Tum meri bst frnd ho yaa dusman..??
Nandu: Jo vi sochnaa hain sochlo... Tumhaari marzi aur waisey vi u promised me ki aaj hum cycling karne lake side jaayenge... Toh ab utho naa..
Manik: Nandu bas 5 mins n i promise uth jaaungaa..
Nandu: Agar nahi uthe toh main naa tumhe iss duniyaa se uthaa dungi...!!
Manik: Accha baba ab apnaa yeh loudspeaker band karo...
Nandu gave him a deadly glare...
Then she started to adore his room which was fully covered by their pics n their memories only...
Finally 5 mins passed..
Nandu:Manik dekho ab 5 mins hogaye okay now utho...
Manik: Nahi uthungaa..!!
Nandu: Wat..?? Toh i hv my own ways of waking u up... Saying this she started to tickle him...
Bt he didn't laughed...
N said " I don't feel tickish ha ha ha...!!"
Nandu jst gave him amazed look..
He continued " bt i knw u feel it"
Saying this he started to tickle her...
No manu no plz ab bas.. Haha.hahaahahaha..!! Nandu was laughing loudly n asking him to stop... The whole room was filled by their giggles n laughter only...

They reached lake side n jst parked their cycle n sat under a tree near lake side... Both were sitting quietly n jst watching the beautiful lake...
Nandu then got up n picked a stone n craved something on tree..
Manik also got up n asked.." Arrey nandu kya likh rahi ho..??"
Nandu:Dekho..!!
Manik read it out " MANAN"
Manan..?? He gave a confused look..
Ma se manik aur nan se nandini.. MANAN.. She said wid a smile.. She further added" Dekhnaa manu jis tarah se humaare naam idhar judey hue hain hum vi humeshaa hi aisey hi rahenge... Jab tak yeh name idhar aisey hi rahegi hum humeshaa saath rahenge.. Together forevr...
Manik: Aur agar idhar sey yeh mit gaya toh.. Kya hum alag hojaayenge...??
Nandu: Main kavi mitney hi nahi dungi... I promise jab tak main hu yeh humeshaa hi aisey hi rahegaa...
Manik: Sacchi yeh name idhar hi rahegaa.. Aur hum humeshaa sath rahenge...
Nandu: Humeshaa..!!
Manik: Humeshaa..!! A smile crept on his face listening this word...
They spent few more time there n left for home...

daadi: haa toh suno..hum saikdo janam lete hain kavi pati patni ban kar, kavi premi ban kar toh kavi anjaane ban kar lekin milte zaroor hain aakhir mey nahi milenge toh kahani khatam kaisi hogi...pyaar matlb naa woh ehsaas hain jisey paakar bohot hi acchaa lagtaa hian.. kisi ki gum ko apnaa gum maan naa aur kisi ki khusi ko apni khusi.. koi aapke liye khudsey pehle soche aur bas aap k liye kuch vi karne k liye taiyaar rahe..aap k liye jiye... issey kehte hain pyaar...
Manik: Daadi pyaar k liye shaadi zaroori hoti hain kya..?
Daadi: Dekho baccha pyaar naa bas hojata hain.. Shaadi k baad hi pyaar ho zaroori nahi hain par agar aapko uss pyaar kaa saath zindagi var k liye chaahiye toh shaadi karnaa zaroori hain..
Manik: aisaa hain... sukriyaa daadi... chalo nandu garden mey chaltey hain..
Daadi smiled seeing them...
Daadi to herself: Pyaar kavi kavi woh vi hotaa hain jo kavi puraa naa ho... Par mainey yeh issilye nahi bataya kyuki main nahi chaahti ki tum logo kaa pyaar puraa naa ho... Tum dono bas humeshaa aisey hi rehnaa... Saath mey.. Khush..!!

Nandu: Shaadi ..?? Tumsey..??? Hmm..!! Sochney do thodi der fir bataati hu...
Manik: Issmey sochney waali kaun si baat hain.. Kya tumhe apni puri zindagi mere saath nahi reheni.. Apni bst frnd k saath..??
Nandu: Reheni toh hain..!!
Manik: Toh fir shaadi karni padegi...
Nandu: Thik hain main naa tumsey hi shaadi karungu... Aakhir bst frnd ho tum mere ... Tumsey nahi karungi toh aur kissey karungi...
Manik: Yipeee... Ab hum humeshaa saath rahenge...
Nandini : Humeshaa... Saying this she hugged him...

Days passed like this only... Month passed n 5 more years passed..
Like always they use to spend all the time together...
They even used to visit the lake side to see the tree n see the name craved over it...
They also use to make it more dark by writing over it again n again n nvr let the name get vanished...
Their bond was getting more n more stronger.. Such bond which was very hard to break par kehte hain naa halat sab kuch badal detaa hain...
ek taraf manan relationship was getting stronger wahi nyonika aur raj ki relationship it was abt to get ended.. They jst used to fight n fight only.. So they decided to get divorced...
Manan were totally unaware abt this fact...
After the divorce manik's father got his custody. N mukti was left wid nyonika as per their own decision. Raj was shifting USA n he was all set to take manik wid him too...
Bt wat would they tell manik as they don't want their children to knw abt their divorce coz they don't want their future to get hampered by their decision...
So they told manik that his dad is going US n taking him too for his further studies...
Nyo: Baccha try to understand dad aapke acche future k liye hi toh kar rahe hain naa..!!
Manik: Nahi mujhe kahi nahi jaanaa.. Main apni nandu k saath hi rahungaa bas..

Manik: Par daadi mujhe aap sab k saath rehnaa hain,nandu k saath rehnaa hain...
Daadi: Haa toh hum aapko thodi naa humeshaa k liye vej rahe hain... Aap humesha milney aayaa karnaa
Manik: Nahi mujhe nahi jaanaa..
Raj: Enough manik.. Yeh kyaa naa jaane ki jid lagaa rakhi hain.. Tumhe ek baari mey samajh nahi aataa ki aapke parents jo vi karte hain aapki betterment k liye karte hain.. Ab koi behes nahi.. Kal shaam ki flight se u r coming wid me n that's final...
Manik: Main kahi nahi jaa raha saying this he left frm their n went to nandini's house...
Amms: Arrey manik betaa aao naa...
Manik: Ams nandu kaha hain..?? Mujhe ussey baat karni hain...
Amms: Woh toh apne kamre mey hain betaa..
Manik: Main jaa saktaa hu kamre mey..??
Ams: Arrey betaa aap kabse permission maangne lagey..?? Aap jaa saktey ho..
Manik: Thanx... Saying this he headed towards nandini 's room...
Nandini was jst doing some project..
Manik knocked on the door n asked may i come in..??
Nandu: Arrey manu tum kabse itne mannered ho gaye... Pehle toh kavi knock karke nahi attey they..
Manik: He jst came near nandini n hugged her..
Nandu was taken aback..
She then slowly started to pat his back n console him as she knw smthg is wrong wid him...
She finally spoke" Kya hua bataao..?? "
Mujhe nahi jaanaa... Said manik still hugging her..
Kaha nahi jaanaa..?? Asked nandu
Mujhe tum sabse dur nahi jaanaa..!! Said manik..
Nandu broke the hug n make him sit..
She then cupped his cheeks n said " Ab puri baat bataao..?? Kya hua hain..?? Aur jaaney ki baat kar rahe ho..??"
He then told her everything...
She was sitting their numb... Manik se dur honey k khaalyaal se hi she was scared ..
Nandini's pov:
Pata nahi manu kya kahu..?? Kuch samajh nahi aaraha.. Main tumhe jaaney nahi denaa chaahti par i can't be selfish.. Tumhaare parents yeh sab tumhaare future k liye kar rahe hain... Tumsey dur honey k khayaal se hi dar lag raha hain... Par mujhe yeh karnaa hogaa.. Yes for my manu n his future...

Nandu: Manu tumhe jana chaahiye... !!
Manik: Wat..?? Main yaha dadse lad raha hu ki mujhe nahi jana aur tum ... !!!

Aur Dekho manu daadi humesha kya kehti hain..?? You can separate two bst frnds by distance but u can nvr break the bridge that connect their hearts.. No matter where they r in the world...

Yess.. Dheere dheere unki interaction kam hoti gayi.. At starting they use to talk daily fir dheere dheere weekly n fir monthly...
Aur yeh vi nandini call karti thi.. N manik jst use to talk for few mins n use to cut off saying he is bzy... Ussey udhar ki luxury ney change kardiyaa thaa.. Badal gaya thaa manik...
Fir nandini also left to call him as kab tak woh akele ek riste ko bachaa paati.. N now it had been more than 6 months she didn't called him.. Har roj she use to wait ki sayad uskaa manu ussey call karey par all in vein nahi aayaa uskaa call...
Time passed n passed...
Sab badey hogay... Yeah 8 more years passed n now manan were of 24...
They were not in contact..
Nandu still used to go to manik's house to meet maa n daadi.. Chaahe manik se ab uskaa koi ristaa raha ho yaa na bt uski maa aur daadi sey avi vi wohi ristaa thaa.. They use to love her as her own child...
Time changes everything.. Every relation.. Bt its in our hand whether the changes that happened is good or bad.. As we make such changes...
Always treasure such pure relationship... Pata nahi kavi fir aapki zindagi mey koi aisaa aaye yaa nahi...
