The morning rays of light seeped in through the window touching the eyelids of Nandini. Nandini opened her eyes and looked around her.
What is the time now?' Nandini thought as she looked at the clock on the wall with her half open eyes. It was already 7 a.m. Oh no...I'm late again..need to get ready fast' Nandini mumbled but suddenly she remembered the past night and looked up with a jolt.
Is he still there?'
He was still lying on the sofa deep in sleep. Now the morning rays have brightened up the room and they were shining upon his face. His brows were bunched up perhaps due to the pain...but he was still tired and deep in sleep. Nandini quickly touched his forehead and the temperature has reduced now. She continued onto her morning activities and took a shower. Before showering she washed up all the clothes which were stained past night. She had put them to soak in detergent and most of the stain was removed.
Wonder who he is...' she thought as she walked out of the shower drying her wet hair. Wonder if I should take him to the hospital?'
Nandini walked into the kitchen to make breakfast for herself and made a bread toast and moved onto make some rice porridge for him.
Oh! But I didn't change his clothes too...he should also freshen up...should I try waking him up?' Nandini thought and walked into the hallway. He was still asleep on the sofa.
Nandini looked at him with her eyes which were wide with curiosity. Nandini gently placed her palm on his shoulder and shook him. Wake up...' Nandini whispered gently. But he was still deep in slumber.
Nandini once again shook him..this time a bit more strongly. Wake up...' His brows knit together but he didn't open his eyes.
Ok let him sleep for some more time..'Nandini thought as she turned to walk back but suddenly her wrist got caught. Nandini's eyes grew wide with shock. She turned around and looked at him and his fingers were tightly gripping her wrist. What's the time? Where am I?' he asked in a slurred voice. His tired gaze was fixed upon her.
You are in my home...and its 8.a.m. Get up...can you get up?' Nandini asked turning to face him.
Y..Yes..' he said and tried to get up..but held onto the backpart of his head. Oouch' he mumbled as he felt a pain on his head. Nandini moved towards him and placed her hand upon his on the backpart of the head where he is touching. Are you feeling pain?' Nandini asked with a concerned look on her face.
His gaze fixed upon her as she gently removed his palm from the back of his head and touched there. There was a swelling on his head. It seems that he had got hit on the back part of his head too.
Did you get into an accident yesterday night?' Nandini asked with a curiosity in her eyes.
Oww...where am I?' he mumbled again with a perplexed expression on his face.
Maine kaha na...tum mere ghar pe ho..' Nandini said this time emphasising her words. Magar tum kaun ho?'
Main?' he asked looking at her...suddenly his face changed into a confused expression. Main..Main kaun hoon?' he tried to remember his own identity. Main...'
Achcha..its ok..don't try too hard..maybe because you are tired you are not able to remember. Pehle fresh up ho jaao..and eat a little bit of food...you have not had anything..' Nandini replied with a concerned expression on her face.
He again tried to get up...but felt himself weak and fell back on the sofa. Nandini walked over to him and put her arm around his shoulder and tried to raise him. He placed his hand on the sofa and used his energy to raise himself up. Finally he sat and held onto his head with both hands.
Tumhaara naam kya hai?' Nandini asked once again.
Naam..yaad nahi aa raha...' he said with a confused look once again.
Achcha...listen...uss taraf washroom hai...let me take you there..pehle muh haath dho lo...ye clothes change karlo..aur phir thode kuch khaa lo...mujhe bhi college jaane hai' Nandini said looking at the clock and its past 8 a.m. Nandini once again helped him get up and he put his arms around her shoulder and she made him walk over to the washroom. He was so tall and at the same time..his body weight was heavy for Nandini.
Can you stand on your own?' Nandini asked looking up at his face.
Yes..I will try' he said as she leaned against the side wall and managed to balance himself to stand on his own.
Nandini handed over a brush and gave him toothpaste.
First finish brushing and then have a shower...I'll go make coffee' Nandini said and as she was turning around to walk out he looked in the mirror and asked Tumhaara naam kya hai?'
Nandini' saying this Nandini walked out of the washroom closing the door behind her.
Nandini walked into the hallway and her phone started ringing.
Hello?' Nandini answered the call.
Yaar Mukti bol rahi hoon...aaj mujhe information mile hai ke classes cancelled hai. It has been raining heavily na and it caused a flood on the streets yesterday and because of that the routes to the college are closed down. Isliye aaj college nahi honge'
Oh..ok...' Nandini mumbled feeling relaxed that she can now deal with the person in her home.
Tere koi plans nahi tho...main aajaaon? Saath main baithke gappe maarenge' Mukti said with a little smile.
Nahi...kal raat der se soyi..jaldi jaage..tho neend aa rahi hai' Nandini made an excuse.
Achcha chal..tu rest karle...kal tak lagta hai ke weather thik ho jaayenge...tho kal college main milenge' Mukti said with a little smile.
Ok' Nandini whispered as the call went cut. Nandini walked towards the washroom to see if the man needed some help.
Nandini opened the washroom door and entered and her eyes grew wide. He had removed his shirt and his etched out bodyline was visible to her eyes. He was looking at the mirror and suddenly his gaze fell upon her. He was looking at her through the mirror.
Wo..sorry...I didn't knock' Nandini mumbled looking away.
He turned to look at her and suddenly a smirk appeared on his face.
It's ok...its your home..' he said with a tiny smile on his face.
Haan..magar tum aise ho...' Nandini mumbled softly.
Kaise?' he asked raising his brow and took a step towards her.
Nandini's eyes widened in shock as she quickly moved out and locked the door behind her.
He seems to be alright now...I should ask him to eat the porridge and leave' Nandini thought as she walked back into the kitchen to make coffee.
Nandini made the coffee and placed it on the dining table and walked once again towards her room. The washroom door was half open and there was the sound of running water.
It seems he is taking a shower' Nandini thought as she closed the door behind her. Nandini walked back to the sofa and removed the stained pillow cover from the pillow and removed the box that as still lying in the hall way.
Aise...pata nahi kisike saath hua ho...' Nandini thought. Suddenly she thought to send Dhruv one more message.
Good morning Dhruv' Nandini typed down a message on her phone.

Hiii kaise ho Dhruv? J ' Nandini asked with an excited expression on her face.
Thik hoon..tum kaisi ho?'
Main bhi thik hoon...kab aa rahe ho yahan? Main tumko miss karti hoon' Nandini replied and waited for a message.
Bahut jaldi...got to go now..talk to you later'
A pout filled with disappointment appeared on her face and suddenly she felt a knock on her bedroom door.
Nandini walked over to the door and touched upon it and asked Kya hai?'
Wo..I need a towel and clothes to wear' he said as he passed his fingers through his wet hair. Now after the shower..he felt much stronger.
Ok..clothes aur towel..cupboard ke andar honge...wahan se le lo' Nandini replied.
No...I looked but didn't find any..can you get them and give me?'
Ok..tum washroom ke andar jaao...uske baad bolna tho main andar aajaaoongi'.
kyon? Tum andar aane se kyon darr rahi ho?' he asked with a confusion in his voice.
Suddenly he understood what was going on in her mind and a smirk appeared on his face.
Achcha...aankhein bandh karke andar aajaao...you don't have to look at me na?' he asked with a smirk on his face.
Aiyappa..kitna besharam hai...isne koi kapde nahi pehne aur chahta hai ke main andar aajaaon? Rice porridge khilaane ke baad isko yahan se bhagaaoongi..' Nandini thought to herself as she looked at the door that was blocking him away from her.
She is interesting...let's see what she will do..when she enters the room' he thought to himself as his smirk changed into a beautiful smile.
