Manik and Nandini stood facing each other. tune started playing. manik took nandini's left hand and placed it on his right shoulder, then held her right palm in his left hand and placed his right hand on her bare back pulling her closer. their bodies were now touching and both experienced some new feelings . nandini felt butterflies dancing in her stomach and her cheeks getting hotter. manik felt his body temperature rising and his heart beat increasing. They started moving their body in sync with the music. nandini let manik take the lead and she followed him. Everyone present their could see their electrifying chemistry.

all through the dance they did not speak and just kept looking each other. manik saw her facial features from so close and he admired the potato-like facial cut, he thought it made her look cute , and those chubby cheeks , he just wanted to gobble up, her pouty pink lips ignited different kind of feelings , he for once wanted to kiss them to know how it would feel, and last but not the least her big doe eyes , he felt captivated by them , everytime he looked into her eyes he felt powerless in breaking the eye contact. he even noticed the two moles - one on her neck and one in the eyebrow. he felt kissing at the moles will be her weak spot.

on the other hand nandini was also admiring his features. she felt his eyes had so much intensity, when he looked into her eyes she felt he was reading her soul, he looked so deeply and passionately at her, then his lips were no less, thin soft and supple, she tried to guess how it would look when he laughed, the mole above his lips fascinated her . she just wanted to kiss him there!!

Maan and Neyonika were standing at a distance and observing them. they both were of the opinion that manik and nandini looked like they were made for each other.

Neyo: Maan i must say u were right nandini is fit to be manik's wife and our daughter-in-law

Maan: see i had told you u will also like her.

Neyo: not only me, i think even manik likes her, see how cosily they are dancing. manik has not for once let anyone dance with nandini since the dance has started. i think the work of convincing manik for this marriage will not be tough.

she gave a naughty smile to maan and he laughed understanding her meaning. the malhotra duo then went to the anchor and asked him to announce that the dinner was sent in the pool area and the guests to move there. as the announcement was made elderly people went out and now cabir took hold of the mike and said

Cab: finally now it is looking like it is a birthday party and not a business party!! so guys and girls lets rock the dance floor!!! wat say??

everyone laughed at cabir's antic and then the dj played some peppy numbers and everyone started grooving and dancing in groups showing off their best moves, manik looked at nandini and saw how well she danced, even his friends and mukti specially was very much impressed. after a long time when they all were tired they came down for drinks and started chatting

nandini realised that she had not wished manik yet and the gift was still with her , so taking the opportunity she said

nan: ummm manik i m sorry , its so foolish of me that till now i haven't wished u. so happy birthday and this is a small gift from our side. please accept it.

she said in a little babyish tone. manik felt like he could listen to her all his life. he said thank you and accepted her gift. then mukti said

muk: nandini i know u and abhimanyu r our business associates but i think we can be friends too. as all of us enjoyed ur company today

she was cut off by cabir

cab: yeah specially manik..he really enjoyed ur company . he himself said that to me

manik: arey when did i say that??????

cab: so do you mean u didn't enjoy her company??

manik: now when did i say this??

cab: then tell us what do u want to say??

manik realised he was caught in cabir's web . he didn't know what to say. nandini was silently enjoying and blushing at the same time . others in the group also got cabir's hint and abhi looked at nandini and saw her smiling , he understood that nandini has some feelings for manik. when nandini saw manik confused , she saved him by talking to mukti

nan: mukti i also think we can be friends. so friends!!

aliya: arey we are also here , dont you want to be our friends??

dhruv : yeah tell

cabir: even i want to be friends with you

nan: ok ok guys we all r friends

and they all laughed. Navya said

nav: see my friend won your hearts, she is a cutie pie and both hugged

waiter brought their dinner and they all had it chatting, leg pulling, manik was happy that nandini always saved him from his friends banter and liked the bond that was developing among them. mukti and abhimanyu also felt that they had some connection . after the dinner they went out and murthys left the place by wishing each other good night. manik and nandini had a last glance of each other but they knew they will meet surely as both had feelings which they had never had before...
