Crush doesn't last long. Does it?😳 I personally don't think they had big issues with each other off-screen(during S1). True I also wished they were friends. But as Manik says to Nandini, "We can't be friends" So guess PaNi also knew they can't be friends😆 And that's the reason the infamous awkwardness translates off-screen. On-screen scenes toh maze se karlete hain in the name of professionalism. And I like that quality of them that they literally lived the characters on screen. You might have seen Niti's individual IVs where she's her bubbly self and happily talking about the scenes she did with Parth. "Jinke bhi bf-bf nahi hai wo sets pe aake hi romance karlo" n all that foot in the mouth stuff she used to say😆 So loved her back then. Parth on the other hand I wished smiled more. Humesha zombie bana rehta tha(in their joint or group ivs)..well most of the times. But then you would see from their IVs they were really proud of their work and their chemistry that showed on-screen. They were better in their joint IVs. in fact we do have some good segments of PaNi. It's in the group IVs where they behave like strangers..when most of the talking the other cast does. I also don't believe they feared link ups. Bullshit! The main thing is both are immature, they didn't know how to handle it.. the attention and everything and they messed things up. I wish they were better co-stars and Parth wasn't as zoned out.
About the recording controversy n all..it happened during S2. That time things had changed for the worse. It's quite evident that Niti took all the backlash that came with Parth quitting too personally. She was being too childish and stubborn to the extent that when Parth returned she wasn't happy. The actual dislike/hatred begins there.
Also, when asked about what Niti wanted to change about the story of S1(In the start of S2, after Parth quitting of course) she says she would like to remove the kiss - Now that is open to interpretation😆 You see their equation wasn't as simple as being 'professionals' .So it can't be as simple as being 'friends' either. PaNi ke secrets PaNi hi jaane. Besides, they did seem to get along well initially.. if you have researched a bit about PaNi during initial days of KY2😆 Things turned mysterious later. There may be some personal reasons but we will never know. I just don't think they hated/disliked each other specifically. I find that too silly. More coz they are young n it's the age to get along with everyone specially co-actors that you work with for most of the time, share the success with, talk to everyday work related hi sahi there needs to be a decent rapport for the comfort level they shared which developed with time.

LOL future ka pata nahi but PaNi being a little mature and sorting their issues is the need of the hour😆 The whole audio n sns drama has defo dampened the hopes. I'm not familiar with the meanings of the Hindi swear words either. But same thoughts about the whole thing as you. It was just a word and in that convo it can't be taken in the literal meaning. Only the speaker knows what he meant by it or if it meant anything at all apart from the fact that he was frustrated. Oh btw saw his latest iv a while ago. The word he uses the most in his day to day life is that word😆 In fact when asked to describe his movie in 3 words - one of the words was that C-word🤣

I'm not on snapchat but I did see some videos yest. The dance moves were hilarious🤣 Ye Parth and KJ were probably High.

Haha those EDTs were so funny, you guys were seriously thinking there was going to be a cheat kiss or no kiss at all and of course saath me saara pani drama discussions. Yeah everyone was disappointed with the quitting stuff but then nothing happened lol. Haha frustrated Manik was funny but yes even I was frustrated and I still watched the show with all episodes uploaded lol. The fact that they were not even a cm away from each other at times😡😡 and they still missed. I get they wanted the whole massive suspense and build up to the kiss but they could have done some kisses just on the lips and not going all the way like they did after the fusion concert. Just a few lip kisses would have been perfect and would have still built up the excitement for the real intimate kiss and confession. I still wish we had more MaNan kisses but still in comparison to a lot of other tv shows we were lucky. The fact that we got two full kisses and the second one had proper open mouth lol. But seriously man Parth looks like a really good kisser - just remembered how you guys were making fun of Parth and that he was thinking of cake during the kiss😆😆😆 that's why it looked like he was going to gobble her up. How he must have been deprived of cake lol. Parth sure loves his cakes lol, I saw a video from his birthday last year and he had 3/4 cakes and people around him go speech speech and he was going to say something but says f*ck it LOOOL and bends towards the cake and nearly cuts it and then remembers they haven't sung him HB yet🤣🤣🤣. Every interview segment there is either cake or chocolate and he is just eating loool and him and cake is seriously a better love story than PaNi. 😆😆😆

Pandit was a bad track, I said it in the new review thread that this could have been a really good track but somewhere they got confused and muddled up a strict teacher with a sexual predator, they should have picked one or the other. I would have preferred the latter because it would give them more scope and the whole breakdown of Nandini would have looked better. Oh and I also wanted Manik's anger to have lasted longer, we got some nice scenes during that - the flour/shower scene (Cabir was hilarious when he dropped the drinks when he saw them come out wet😆😆), the vinegar scene followed by the cute ice cream scene. I liked the whole anger followed by a bit of care from Manik scenes, but they ended that all too quickly I think, but it probably looked that way because they dragged the fusion concert for too long. I would have liked them to have actually practised more and shown actual classroom scenes lol. Holi scenes are my ultimate fav scenes - those episodes were maNanlicious lol, the cheek colouring, nandini squirting the pichkari on manik, then the way manik runs behind her and then he gets back at her with the pichkari, nandini pushing him in lol and then of course the floor fight was totally not expected lol

PaNi are seriously a mystery though I feel things had gotten better during the Fusion concert scenes, because of the selfies, dubsmash and even them dancing behind Emran Hashmi despite them not being in focus and it looked like they were having a real convo as opposed to a reel one 😳😆. But yeah you are right the fame and success really went to their heads, first season Parth had attitude and second season Niti had the attitude. They really need to grow up, I'm shocked at the way they handled all of this, these two had at least done tv shows before I've seen lead pairs who are both facing the camera for the first time and still handle all the attention better. Niti had even done Bade ache, that was a huge show, it had Sakshi and Ram, learn some professionalism from them. I remember towards the end Sakshi and Ram weren't even in the same scenes at times because of both their schedules but I never heard of any complaints. Yahan toh at least she had Parth and he had Niti. The one thing I can appreciate them for is that they never let MaNan suffer because they both gave their 110% when together. But the offscreen attitude really sucks, yup I saw there separate interviews and the ones of them both and the ones with the whole cast. All three have them acting differently. Niti was so bubbly and lol no I didn't see the one where she goes about jiske paas bf/gf nahi hai come and romance here lol. I remember there was one interview where someone gave her a little statue and she goes this is Parth and Niti 😆. They had some nice interview togethers, the best being the tellybytes one from Soha's farmhouse, they looked really happy and there was a part that was muted that was so funny where Niti pulls her hands up to Parth and says don't say that and he just dies from laughing lol. 😆😆

I honestly thought I was the only one who thought they got way tooo many gifts, I thought that must be how it is because I didn't watch SBS/SBB or the others because there are no other shows I follow. The way Niti's face would go all become sooja huwa when she got a small gift especially in comparison to Parth. That looked so bad, I only remember Charlie being the one saying please don't send us expensive gifts. But the rest of the cast were crazy especially PaNi. That was shameful 🥱.

Both of them were so bewakoof though because they were so lucky that their show was a hit and they both were liked, so many shows come and go and get taken off in 3months and those actors would give anything to be in PaNi's position but these two had no respect for it. They took everything to heart especially Niti, yaar if there is one bad comment then there were 100s that were so nice why focus on the bad ones? Seriously so many other tv actors have to go through the same thing and some get told they act bad but these two were lucky it was never an attack on their work. Though Niti did have to bear the hate a bit more than parth, lol when she would post stuff with him the fan girls would get upset and when she didn't the PaNi shippers would. They both just had to play along for the cameras, could they not do that for the interviews as well, and a selfie here or there. So much hate when you are this young and have to work with someone practically 24/7. They need to come back down to earth soon because fans can make or break you. Aaj nahi respect kiya then they will never respect you back and their show wasn't even on any of the GEC channels, they didn't have anywhere near the reach those shows get, toh kis baat par inta hawa peh ur rahe teh.

I actually watched episode 264 again, well actually their consummation scene because when I watched it the first time like I told you I sort of skipped it because those were such bad episodes but their consummation wasn't as bad as I first thought lol. Can you believe I missed the whole after "jamming" talk, I remember seeing nandini listening to his heart and I was like ooh that's too cheesy so forwarded it but yesterday I watched it again and heard the part where Manik goes her note was too high 😲😲(My face was literally like this) 😳😳😳. I was shocked but I loved it best part of that episode and totally one of my fav MaNan convos. I can't believe they edited the shadows part because in the EDT it mentioned it being longer so I checked it out on SBS and I can't believe they edited it. I wish we got at least one proper kiss but it still wasn't that bad. Apart from the shoddy editing, loud music and of course Parth leaving way too soon made them shoot the scene in a rush.

LOL Parth said the C-word for his film, lol when? Yeah please are you telling me Niti never bitched about Parth or anyone for that matter, of course she did. Not justifying what Parth did because he probably was getting treated by Niti the same way he treated her in S1. LOL the funniest part in the recording was when he goes she makes faces when she sees him 🤣, yaar come on, are they school going kids

Parth and Karan were completely drunk and had lost it, every video online has Parth saying oh shit it's a video. 😆

Did you see the birthday post KJ did for Parth, that was so awesome and it cracked me up. Didn't think they were that close especially not after all that whatsapp drama, I guess Parth knows whose his friends are now and realises who aren't.

Gosh I know another essay, but it's because I'm discussing the show and offscreen drama from the last year and half all together not when it actually happened and because I just love it lool. Plus we aren't online at the same time always so it's easier and quicker to write all the stuff so the other person responds in one go. lol

I know sorry for the essays, it's just easier to say all points in one go because it's not like the show is on air right now when everyone continues to respond plus people are online at different times. And I'm discussing it all at once lool.

But I haven't had this much fun discussing a show in a long time, last was Beintehaa - even the leads there were awkward with each other in the beginning and not best friends but still very nice and decent to each other and as the show went on they got better. Plus the show was really good until they messed it up as usual.

LOL of course I prefer PaNi offscreen equation because it seriously is a mystery, if there was a show on their equation it would be called kabhi theek kabhi tension. 😆😆

Harshad and Preetika were a nice pair though, they were awkward but nothing crazy like our PaNi. Harshad is so hot 😆. And these two did end up coming together for a promo shoot way after the show was over because their serial was being relaunched in another country. I just find all of this so funny, how can two people hate each other so much but BOTH be totally fine with every other cast member. Seriously so weird. Only other couples I know that don't or didn't get along are Karan and Hina (their show has been on for 6 years and you don't hear crazy stuff like about them and they do interviews together) and Shweta and Cezzane (Prerna and Anuraag from Kasuati) I didn't watch that show properly but always heard that those two didn't get along at all. PaNi baffles me because onscreen they didn't reflect any dislike, no matter how good of an actor you are there are always moments where offscreen stuff is reflected. If we go with that theory then they were definitely into each other or there was some sexual tension😆😆😆. I'm telling you PaNi just may end up being India's Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher 😉.

LOL heck Karan and Kritika still did stuff together after breaking up😆.

Anyways, if these both want to break into BW, do they think they can get away with not liking their costars and easily letting people catch on about it. No way, you hardly hear about costars not liking each other but I'm sure many don't get along. 😆😆

Parth and Niti though they did really get into their characters and really wanted to make sure they did them well, especially Parth, it was as if he wanted to show everyone he is good. He always looked very focused that way but if he gave this much love to the show as well it would have been nice as well. S2 it looked liked he realised somewhere that he made a mistake, even though I'm sure it must have been an ego boost to be demanded back by the public but still he now looks like he knows he needs to appreciate KY2. Even his insta posts reflect that, now if that's all for show who knows but still good that he has gotten better.

I will check it out thanks, I can't believe there are 149 of them lol. Hahaha I'm going to really enjoy reading those essays. It's fun reading stuff where people have no idea what is going to happen and then seeing their reaction because you know what's to come.

I've been watching the show again and again, and I just had this thought on how they handled Cabir's sexuality. Normally I don't comment because such angles don't interest me but I mean it has been acknowledged by all that they tackled this topic but what I find interesting is that they didn't make Cabir the stereotypical gay guy at all. Not from any angle. I have to give it to CVs for doing that so well.

Another thing why was this show's budget so freaking tiny? The boys looked really good in the beginning, Parth still somewhat decent but Ayaz started looking really old, when you compare it to the older episodes he looked great and cool, kinda cute as well but by the end of the show it was either a hit or miss with Ayaz. I liked it when the boys had the headphones around their necks they looked cool and looked the part. The show was MTV's most popular yet they didn't spend on it at all. Does anyone remember those red shorts of Maniks, lol I just saw a gift segment and he was gifted those🤣.

EDT used to be dead initially but later it picked up pace after Turu started giving Live Updates.

Yeah! Cabir's sexuality was not dealt in an old cliched way. His needs amd emotions were properly shown and acted by Ayaz!

Budget😆

Initially the show was not meant to run for so long, it was a sort of experiment with low budget and meagre publicity but as the show moved on, PaNi and MaNan made KY2 hit. The irony here is even though the show was a hit and the PH was earning good from the show, PH didn't seem to have invested more money to the show, the set and the costumes for the fusion concert were worse than those for the musicana!
