Chapter 4 - ENGAGEMENT

MALHOTRA mansion, Manik's room...
Nandini : Mani chalo neeche chalte hai sab wait kar rahe honge.
Manik : angel no na let's stay here only with each other.
Nandini : Mani sab pareshaan ho rahe honge aur wo sab ooper aagaye toh pareshaan hote hue nahi baba nahi. Mani neec...
Manik didn't let her complete her what she was saying and without saying anything claimed her lips. He was nibbling on her lower lip but she was sitting there all surrendered there without reciprocating his kiss. But Manik wants her to respond so he deepens the kiss. And then Nandini also start kissing him slowly.
This was kiss to seal their promise of being with each other in every situation throughout their lives and also both were showing each other that they were ready to take their lives to next level.
The kiss was slow yet passionate but of love ... True love...
After kissing each other till both were breath less they broke the gasping for air. They rested their foreheads against each other closing their eyes and calming the other. After becoming normal they both said together ...
Nandini : I LOVE YOU
Manik : I LOVE YOU
They smiled straightened themselves and they finally decided to go down.
They went downstairs with their hands locked but having sad smiles on their faces as they have decided to keep their secret a secret and just to go with the flow.
When they reached downstairs they saw their friends walking from corner to other. And their parents were sitting on couches with worried faces and tension clearly visible on there faces. When Nandini sees towards here mother she was feeling so guilty and then she noticed few tears in her eyes too. So without saying anything she frees her hand from Manik's hand and ran towards her mom, hugged her and started sobbing due to her guilt. Nandini's mom also started crying as she was feeling guilty for breaking her trust and not telling her about her marriage. Then Nandini told her mother almost whispering in her ear without breaking the hug...
Nandini : we both ready to marry each other mom pls don't worry.
Akanksha : really... Omg I m so happy for you nandu. Thanks beta for excepting our decision.
And others around them were seeing them in at most confusion. Except Manik who knows the reason behind their sudden happiness.
Then Akanksha saw everyone's confusion but to confirm what Nandini had told her she looked towards Manik who was standing leaning toward the wall and smiling. She asked through eyes whether it's true or not and Manik smiled shyly and nodded looked downwards.
Then Akanksha said to everyone ...
Akanksha : they have agreed for marriage.
Now all were so happy they hopped on nandini who was standing nearby for a group hug. The hug was so tight that she was facing difficulty in breathing. So due it she started coughing badly. Seeing this Manik came to her rescue. He dragged her out of the hug to the table made her sit there. And gave her water to drink and he himself rubbed her back to calm her down. As she was coughing so badly that some lone tears came out of her eyes. Seeing her like this Manik was also having tears in his eyes. And after some time she became normal but seeing him like this for herself she hugged him tight to calm him down and he also reciprocated the hug.
Seeing their kids like this, so concerned for each other and now they all were happy as their kids were proving their decision correct. They were smiling seeing them like this.
After some time Manan came out of trance and broke the hug. They were so embarrassed that they seeing every where else but not towards their family.
So, to ease out the situation for their kids all decided to head towards the party which was a forgotten business till now.
They all headed towards party.
The party was a grand one. All students and guests were already present their. All went in the party. All elders went towards their friends and business delegates and fab5 abhnavni went towards their friends.
All were enjoying and talking but suddenly lights went dim and spot light fell on 4 people standing in the center. Then Manan and their friends notice that they were Manik and Nandini's parents. Then Maan said...
Maan : ladies and gentlemen please can I have your attention please.
All people turned them. Then Shashank said...
Shashank : ladies and gentlemen today I feel proud to tell you that my all kids that is FAB 5, Nandini and Navya had got graduated. So on this auspicious occasion I and my best friend Maan announce that are kids Manik and Nandini are going to get married next week so please all gather around for their engagement.
Nikita : I invite Manik and Nandini for their engagement on stage.
Then Manik hold her hand took her to stage with him. Then they exchanged rings. While their family and friends hooted for them.
Then everyone present their toast for the new couple. And after that everyone asked the couple to do a dance.
They went to dance floor together and danced on song DHEERE DHEERE ...
After the dance all went to respective homes saying that they will meet tomorrow at the mall for shopping dresses for different functions for everyone.

So this is chapter 4 their engagement
I m really overwhelmed with the response you all gave me for last chapter
