one thing i want to say to my silent readers guys you buddy me but you don't comment when i PM you the update this is not for your reading enjoyment if i write for you i deserve a comment. i was patient for such long but now i am not this update who ever comments will receive PMs i will keep a check on who comments who doesn't. i hope i am clear on that.

I could not bear him following us around the store, making me all nervous already this shopping fiasco is making me sweat. Zoe leads me through the department. So, you're being spoiled today?' she asks on a friendly smile. I am' I return her smile. You don't want to be spoiled?' she laughs, picking up a long, green gown and presenting it to me. It's lovely but more Alya's color than mine. I give a little apologetic shake of my head. She hangs it. No' I agree. What about this one?' She places a hand on a lovely skim style dress. I liked it but still too expensive and this goes on for quite some time when she stops on a black delicate lace gown.

(Nandini's attire for the evening)

It's beautiful. How about this?' Zoe says, joining me in front of the gown. She takes it down and turns it gently. It's attached to a security wire which can only mean one thing. Isn't it wonderful?' she asks dreamily. Oh it is. It is also in ridiculously expensive if the store feels the need to wire it up. There is also no price on the tag it means I will pass out at the price. I run my eyes down the back of the fitted dress that splays mid-thigh to pool the floor slightly. The design is simple yet extravagant "you should try this?" I look at Zoe and nod moving to other gowns. An hour later we return to the personal shopping area. Manik is still sat on the sofa with his phone. He smiles brightly and disconnects the call. Having fun?' he asks as he gets up and caresses my face with his hands. I missed you.' I've been gone an hour.' I laugh and grip his shoulders as he pushes me towards him. "Too long.' he says. What have you got?' he asks Too much to choose from.' I say. I managed to convince Zoe to abandon the lace gown. In fact, I avoided anything attached to the wire. "go try am waiting for my show" he winks at me and I take a deep breath and move towards the changing rooms.

I turn to follow into a large fitting room. Zoe's admiring face doesn't escape my notice. Zoe disappears for a while making me wonder where she is gone when I felt an arm drape around my waist and with the touch I knew it was him "Manik" he nuzzles in my neck "hmm" "what are you doing here" he was dropping sweet wet kisses on my neck moving to my nape making me tighten my grip on him "just came to tell you that you will look breathtaking in that dress" "Ma...n...ik pl...ea...se" I try an say as his touch was making me crazy he stops his sweet torture but places his face on my neck and says "that dress is for you wear it for me" I look at him trying to stop my fast breathing he plants a soft kiss on my neck and leaves making me wonder which dress just then Zoe comes back holding the same black lace dress and many more. I'm under strict orders to make you try lots of dresses, so I got these,' she says. She comes back to the front holding the lace gown. But first this' What?' I blurt so Manik was talking about this dress. Well,' She starts towards me, he choose this for long before and wanted me to show you I was just following orders' She smiles brightly. And I knew you would love this so did he' Zoe, I can't,' I stutter, trying to convince my brain that the dress is hideous and disgusting. Damn right awful. If it's the price that's bothering you, then don't worry. It's within the budget.' She hangs the dress on the wall hook. There's a budget? What's the budget?' I ask hesitantly. She turns and grins. The budget is; there is no budget.' I groan and collapse into the chair. Can I ask how much it is?' No.' she replies cheerily. Manik is too much this dress is worth some grand and he is making me try it.

I'm helped into the gown by Zoe and presented to the over sized mirror. Holy shit!' she exclaims, and then slaps her hand over her mouth. I'm sorry. That was so unprofessional of me.' I turn slightly to view the back and gasp a little. It clings to every curve I have and skims the floor when I raise to stand. The lining under the lace is matt, giving the delicate, intricate pattern a shimmery effect. Zoe kneels before me. Put these on.' she instructs. I pull my eyes from the mirror and look down to find a pair of black Dior heels at my feet. I can't even recognize myself this dress is breathtaking am sure Manik knew how I would look in this that is why he choose this then an idea pops in my mind "hey Zoe I don't want to show Manik how I look in this so let's keep it safe for the evening" she smiles and winks at me and then I look at the other dresses "time to try these" she exclaims I start trying dresses and I'm surprised that I'm enjoying myself. Manik is back on the sofa and watches as I appear and disappear, wearing a different dress each time. Each time I walk in he gawks and his eyes pops out and before he moves forward to do anything I run away. While all this was going on I thought to tease him a bit I move inside and wear a very short, Chloe, grey dress

I know it's not for me yet I want to tease him so I try it on I watch as his face turns to shock. Get it off!' he spits, I see the anger rising I knew he was possessive but with dresses too didn't knew that "Manik but I just.." I try to tell him that I was just teasing him but he cuts me off " go change right now I say" I shouts in anger "Manik baby it's just a dress I was just teasing you" I move towards him and place my hand on his chest to calm him down and I pretty much succeed in it he place a peck on my forehead "go change baby and if you want you can have this dress but only on one condition it's only for me to see you in it no one else" he says in my ears making me shiver his voice also is the death of me "manik you are too much" and I return to the changing room but He's right, I love the dress but most I love his possessiveness then a thought scares me will I be able to survive with such a possessive man I was lost when Zoe called to ask am I done and I let go of my thoughts an walk out.

As I lead out with Zoe after telling her my Yes to go pile of dresses which makes me stressed out already and then I am even more mortified when Manik hands Zoe a credit card. She takes it and leaves us alone.

Manik, I'm really not comfortable with this.' I take his hands and stand in front of him so I have his full attention. He seems disappointed Why?' His voice is genuinely hurt. Please, I don't want you spending all of this money on me.' It's not all that much.' He tries to reason with me, but I saw the price tags. It's way too much, and I don't even know how much the gown is. I look down at the floor. Just buy me a dress for tonight. "baby this all everything is yours only and I love to do all this for u now I have to make a phone call.' He drops a kiss on my lips. You go and pick five dresses. Zoe has my card. My pin is one, nine, seven, two' I says I can't believe you've just told me your pin number.' Well as u said you want to know me remember so let's start by this' I look at him he slowly turns and flashes me his signature smile reserved only for me before blowing me a kiss and leaving me to go and pick my five dresses.

I walk out of the personal shopping area and find Manik waiting for me. It didn't take me long to select my five favorite dresses. I hand him his card and plant a kiss on his cheek. Thank you.' You are more than welcome,' He takes my bags from me. Do I get another show?' I smile at him "of course anything for you" he takes my hand in his "btw baby you didn't showed me the gown when will I get to see you in it" I thought he forgot about it but he didn't well wait for the evening Mr Malhotra then you can see' I wink at him and we make our way out towards the elevator.

As we reach back home after our long last shopping n lunch it was almost evening and we have to leave for the party so I go to get reading in Manik's room while he takes the other room so that I am not to be disturbed and as I want to keep my look a surprise and see his reaction as I walk towards him. I get changed and curl my hair and let it open as he likes my hairs hall on my bare back filling it completely. I apply a little makeup as light as possible heavy makeup doesn't suit me and lastly apply my matte light pink lipstick to give the final touch am fully ready to go I take a deep breath and walk out the room. I watch in silence that he is waiting for me. I smile to myself and like he has sensed I'm nearby, his head snaps up to me and I get a full look of him my breath hitches and I hold the handrail on the stairs to steady myself. His eyes pop out as I thought they will. holy God' he mouths. Our eyes lock and he starts walking slowly towards the stairs. I would start down to meet him, but my legs are frozen in place. He might need to carry me down the stairs. He takes the steps all the time keeping his eyes firmly set on mine and when he reaches me he holds his hand out on a small smile.

I take a deep breath and grasp my dress, placing my hand in his and letting him lead me down the stairs, my legs move now that he has hold of me. When we reach the bottom he stops and turns to face me running his eyes up and down seeing me. He takes a slow walk around to my back, and I shut my eyes I hear him inhale sharply, and then his warm fingertip meeting with the nape of my neck. He trails a slow path down the center on my spine moving finger on my bare flesh He finishes at the base of my spine and then there is the heat of his mouth on my skin as he drops a kiss on the center of my back. I relax under the warmth of his lips. He slowly makes his way back around to my front and stares at my eyes. I can't find my breath.' he murmurs, moving his hand around my waist and pulling me into him, taking my mouth tenderly, like I've become as delicate as the lace dress. I really like this dress I knew it is made for you' he says on a small smile. I am happy to make him happy he moves a bit backward but still holding me "I have got something for you?" I look at him thinking what is left now he took out a box from his pocket and opened it and I see a delicate, platinum layered chain hanging from his finger. I nearly choke on my own tongue as my eyes take in the piece of fine jewellery. I saw it in a glass cabinet as I passed through the jewellery department with Zoe this morning. She pointed it out and it had me spellbound immediately, displayed all on its own, with layers of delicate linked platinum and a square cut diamond on the end.

I nearly had heart failure when I read the small piece of card detailing the price that was displayed next to it. My eyes jump to his. Manik, that necklace was sixty grand!' I shout.

He smiles and walks around to the back of me, gathering my hair and placing it over my shoulder. My heart is beating fast in my chest as he brings the necklace over my head and place it. It feels like a huge burden on my chest. His hands skim my back as he fastens the clasp and rests his lips on the nape of my neck. You like?' he whispers in my ear. You know I do, but...' I reach up and feel the diamond Did Zoe tell you?' No I asked Zoe to show it to you' He turns me around in his arms and runs his fingertips over the necklace you are crazy beautiful' He kisses my lips softly. He asked her? I laugh a nervous laugh. Are you talking to me or the diamond?' It's all about you,' he says An it always will be' He pecks on my forehead making me shiver once again. I take a deep breath and rest my hands on his chest. I really don't know what to say' My voice is slightly shaky. You could say you love or you could say thank you' He says caressing my face I do love it. Thank you' I reach up and kiss him slightly on his lips. You are more than welcome, baby. It's not as beautiful as you Nothing is' He takes my hands from his chest and hold into his let's go baby time to make an appearance at the party' he smiles my favorite smile manik meeting you family am nervous' finally I said the words which were bothering me I mean this is all moving so fast first meeting him falling for him and now meeting his family I never thought it would be that difficult. I am still on the leash of figuring out about him his past his loneliness and now I have to meet his family well It can be a good opportunity to know about him from them as I sensed how everyone behaved when Cabir was telling something about the past. I was still lost when Manik twitches his fingers and brought me back to reality nothing to worry about baby they will love you am sure about it just trust me on this now shall we leave?' he says and I nod. We walk passed the door and saw Aryaman waiting for us we slide into the car and drove to our location.
