Nandini opened her eyes and saw Cabir sitting beside her on the stool..!
"Jeju..!"She tried to get up...
"No..! Keep laying..! Don't stress yourself..!"Cabir immediately stopped her and she smiled weakly..
"How are you?"Cabir asked patting her forehead..
"Theek hoon..!"Nandini said looking away..
"Wo..! I came to know..! About the night..!"Cabir was hesitant in starting the topic and Nandini's face was expressionless..! "Main nahi janta Manik ko kya hua hai...! Q achanak say itne nafrat badh gai hai us ky dil me..!"
"It's ok Jeju..!"Nandini said in low tone..
"No..! It's not ok..! He will apologize..! He will give you respect..!"Cabir said holding her hand..
"I don't need him Jeju..!"Nandini said coldly..
"But Nandu..!"Cabir again tried..
"Jeju please..!"Nandini said and before they argue more Mr.Murthy came and it was time for Nandini to go home...!

Manik came home with a heavy heart. Nandini's pale and weak face was flashing in his mind constantly..! He entered the lounge and two tiny pair of arms hugged his knees..! ABEER..!
"Good evening Mamu..!"He exclaimed in his all time chirpy voice and Manik smiled..! He knelt in front of him and ruffled hair..
"Good Evening champ..!"Manik too greeted him..! Abeer traced Manik's forehead and kissed his cheek..
"Ap pleshan(preshan) ho?"Abeer asked innocently and Manik smiled faintly..
"Nahi beta..! Preshan nahi hoon..!"Manik said plastering a smile on his face. .
"Tou fuse(confuse) ho?"His vocabulary was very short..! But still his words amazed Manik. .
"Haan..! Fuse(confuse) hoon..!"Manik said helplessly nodding his head..!
"Mamu..! Jab mind is fuse(confuse)..! Listen to youl(your) healt(heart) it will always show you the light(right) way..!"Abeer said sweetly patting Manik's heart and he was shocked..
"Itne pyari batain mery bety ko kiss nay sikhye? Mama nay?"Manik wanted to know the source of his parrot..!
"Nai..! Nandu didi nay..!"Abeer immediately confessed and again NANDINI..! She was everywhere..! In his mind..! In his heart..! In his house..!
"Ap Nandu didi say bohat pyaar krty ho?"Manik asked caressing his cheeks with his thumbs..!
"Ji Mamu..! Didi mjy achi batain sikhati hain..!"Abeer immediately took his didi's side..
"Aur kya shikaya hai Nandu didi nay?"Manik wanted to hear more..
"Didi kehti hai kay agal(agar) koi galti kaly(kary) tou ush(us) ko maaf kal(kar) daina chaye..!"Abeer was a parrot he repeated Nandini's words..
"Acha..! Q maaf kar daina chye ya nahi btaya didi nay?"Manik asked curiously..!
"Alay btaya hai na..! Didi kehti hain maaf kalny(karny) wala badla lainy waly shay(say) bala(bara) hota hai..!"Abeer was so innocent..! He didn't had the idea what he had said in innocence and how much it was effecting Manik..!
Before Manik could say anything Navya came and Abeer ran from there..! Manik got up and was about to leave when Navya's words forced him to stop..!
"Agy ka kya socha hai?"Navya asked crossing her arms on her chest..
"Agya ka? Kya kuch bhi tou nai..!"Manik said shrugging his shoulders although he knew he can't get over this topic so easily..
"Ziada bholay ban'ny ki zarorat nahi hai..! Tum Nandini say milny hospital ja skty ho? Par us kay sath apna future discuss nahi kr skty?"Navya retorted and Manik look everywhere else Navya ..
"Main..! Kis nay kahan main hospital gya tha..!"Manik tried to clear himself..
"Salay sahab..! Meri nazroon say koi nahi bach skta..!"Cabir appeared from behind and Manik felt like killing him..!
"Aa gya tu wapas?"Manik said in not so pleasant tone and Cabir laughed loudly..
"Chup chup kay parking say nikal raha tha na tu?"Cabir didn't spare him..! Manik had nothing to say..
"Haan gya tha hospital main but not for Nandini..! But for Mr.Kumar..! He is hospitalized..!"Manik said scratching his temple and CaVya smiled to fullest..
"Liar..! Liar..! Pants of fire..!"Heart shouted excitedly and Manik sighed...!

Navya instructed the maid to take Abeer inside.
"Manik mujhe aaj tak samajh nahi aaya ki kyu itni nafrat bhari hai tumhare dl me nandini ke liye...aakhir kyu uss masoom ki zindagi ke saath khelna chahte ho tum..." Navya said in a desolate tone. The rage which was suppressed a few hours back emerged again.
"Masoom nahi hai wo di..." He spoke in an infuriated tone and stomped towards his room. Navya was taken aback by his sudden burst of anger.Few minutes back he was absolutely normal , having a hearty chat with Abeer and now a sudden burst of anger.
"He walked out on me..." Navya spoke dejectedly " Bas yahin din dekhna baki reh gya tha ab " Cabir came forward and side hugged Navya.
"Navya..! Tum andar abeer ke paas jao..! Let me handle it now..! Give us some alone time..!"Cabir said politely..
"Hmmm"She nodded quietly and went inside her room while Cabir went into Manik's room.

"Chal..! Bohat din huay we didn't drunk together..!"Cabir said patting Manik's shoulder. Manik reluctantly got up and made two drinks for both of them while Cabir made himself comfortable on the couch .
"So..!"Cabir asked looking keenly at Manik's face as he took a seat beside him. .
"So what?"Manik asked shrugging his shoulder carelessly. .
"Shadi kar li? Such a big step..!" Manik averted his gaze to avoid eye contact.
"T...t..tujhe kaise pata?"He asked
"Mujhe kaise pata?"Cabir smothered a laugh
" Boy!!! Are you kidding me ?Tu bhool gaya hai kya ki your sister is my wife..." Manik took a deep breath and buried his face between his palms. "Ab aage kya socha hai?I mean agar shaadi kar li to why didn't you bring nandini along...why is she away from you "Cabir asked in a serious tone. .
"I don't know bro..!"Manik replied helplessly gulping down his drunk..
"You dont know...then who knows?"Cabir asked
"Cabir pls...lets just not talk about this!"
"But why not !! Do you have any idea as to what mess have you created around yourself ! Why dont you accept that you love Nandini...things will become much simpler " Cabir tried to explain manik .
"Kuchh simple nahi hoga...and I...I dont love her " Manik replied sternly.
" Manik , maine kaha tha tujhe 2 saal pehle bhi aur aaj fir kehta hua...tu Nandini se pyaar karta hai.Accept it Tune hamesha apne dimaag ki suni hai manik aur khud ko aur nandini ko bhi hurt kiya hai.Meri baat maan ek baar apne dil ki sun...nandini ko ghar le aa.Wo tujhe itna pyaaer degi ki tu fir se insaan ban jayega"
"Enough Cabeer...Just shut up!!" manik scoffed.
"Mere shut up hone se sach nahi badlega...You love her ...Just accept it dammit" Cabir sighed in exasperation and left the room while Manik sat back recalling Cabir's words.
"Cabir is right..! " Heart said...
"He is wrong..!" brain retorted But..!
"What but? Go on yaar..! Accept her..! Hug her..! Kiss her..!"Heart shouted happily..
"f**k off you nuts heart..! Manik will not do this..! He won't listen to you..!"Brain shouted...
"Sachi? Tu phr aa gya..! If won't listen to me then why he went today to the hospital? Why he kissed her forehead?"Heart was spilling beans and brain was biting the nails in anxiety..
"It was a mistake of course..!"Brain was running out of logics..
"Stupid logics once again..! Ha ha..! You are losing buddy..! Manik ab teri nahi meri baat suny ga..!"Heart was going all mad with happiness..!
Manik fell on his bed in utmost anxiety and closed his eyes..

"Mam..! You need something?"Maid asked as soon as she came inside Nandini's room..!
"Yeah..! Please help me to sit in the balcony..! I feel like I need some fresh air..!"Nandini said weakly and maid nodded..! The fever had effected her so badly that she even was not able to walk properly..! Maid gave her a light shawl and she wrapped it around herself..!
After sometime Nandini was sitting on the balcony swing staring at the stars..! She remember Manik used to love stars..! Especially the shooting star..! Toot'ta tara..! She smiled..! He used to became excited like a kid..! But he was not that manik..! He was someone else..! That Manik used to be so sensitive...
Flashback...
"Alya..! Jaoa aur manaoa Manik ko..! Ya tou itne bari baat he nahi the jis pay you fought with him..!"Nandini said angrily and Alya fell on the bed giving her a whatever look..
"Itne bari baat nahi the? Seriously Nandu? He was 10 minutes late..!"Alya said closing his eyes..
"Only 10 minutes Alya..! Tou kya ho gya..! How much sorry he was..! Tum nay sara mood off kar diya us bechry ka..! Kitna happy tha wo aj tmhry sath date pay jany k liye..! Tmy aisy insult nahi karna chye tha usy..!"Nandu was scolding Alya but she pretended to be slept..! Nandini sighed..! After so many efforts she had arranged a date for Alya and Manik..! Alya was not at all ready for the date but Nandini forced her..! Unluckily Manik came 10 minutes late and Alya needed an excuse..! She burst out on Manik and he was shocked on his place..! Nandini tried so many times to calm Alya down but she came back..!
"You know Alya mjy lagta hai tum Manik say door bhagny k bhanay dhoondti ho..!"Nandini said looking at Alya but she was fast asleep..! She knew Manik must be heartbroken..! She directly drove to Manik's home and run towards his room..! He was sitting in the balcony he was so sad too...!
"Manik..!"She called him and he turned his head towards her..! "Am sorry on Alya's behalf..!"She said politely and sat beside him..
"I think she hates me..!"Manik said staring at the stars...
"No no..! Aisa kuch nahi hai..! Wo bus aise he hai...! Don't take her wrong..!"Nandini tried to defend her sister..
"I don't know..! She insulted me a lot today..! It hurts yaar..! It badly hurts..! Kuch suna bhi nahi and she started..!"Manik was hurt..
"Acha leave her..! Tum mjy ya btaoa have you had the dinner?"Nandini asked as she tried to change the topic and he shook his head in no..! "Ok then chalo..! We will eat outside..!"Nandini said cheerfully and made him get up..! She was about to walk out when Manik held her hand..!
"Nandini..!"Manik said hesitantly and Nandini smiled a little confused..! Manik came forward and wrapped his arms around Nandini..! A light friendly hug and Nandini gasped..! She didn't hugged him back not because she didn't wanted to but because she was too much numb to react..! He patted her head a little and his lips lightly traced her hair too..!
"Thank you for being there for me..!"Manik whispered against her hair and she closed her eyes to control the tears which were threatened to fell of her eyes..!

Nandini once again closed her eyes as tears fell off her eyes..!
"Manik..! Tum kahan chaly gye..! Q chaly gye..! Wo Manik..! Haan tum mery nahi thy par khush tou thy..!"Nandini whispered to herself and was about to wipe her tears when suddenly the long manly fingers wiped her tears and she look at the owner..!
"Manik..!"She gasped..! He smiled lightly and sat in front of her..!
"Myny bohat rulaya na tmhy?"He asked holding her hands and she was crying with silent tears shook her head impulsively...!
"Nai..! Bus tum pehly waly Manik ban jaoa..!"Nandini pleaded and he smiled..
"Tum bana sakti ho mjy pehly sa?"Manik asked as he again wiped her tears...! Nandini hugged him tightly and gripped his shoulders..
"Haan..! I will help you..! We will be the same phr say..!"She said sobbing hard..! He didn't replied but kept hugging her..! "Manik..!"She called him after a long pause..
"Hmm?"He hummed..!
"I love you..!"She confessed with pure heart but...! No reply...! "Manik tum kuch bool q nahi rhy..!"Nandini said angrily and suddenly POOOF..! Manik was not there..! She was hallucinating??? She sadly got up and taking the support of the wall she walked inside her room and fell on the bed with a thud..! Tears were now wetting her pillow...!
