Two days later,

everything was going well according to maniks plan,he had plan of every possible way of making khurana cry on knees and it was the time for some action

...

It was night and everybody had gone to their rooms to sleep,

Nandini came in her room,after helping nyonika in the kitchen and saw manik was working on his laptop,she smiled looking at him and he who was hell engrossed yet could feel his wife staring at him,

he without Looking up said,

"Itnei piar se stare kernei ki koi khaas waja..??"

She at once stood straightly

"Kia...!?"she unknowingly uttered

"I mean...wo...,"she was finding words to cover up

"JAAN ...come on you don't have to pretend" he said ever so lovingly

"JAAN?" She took this name blushingly

"Yes you are my JAAN...my one and only Jaan"he said blowing a flying kiss

She blushed,

"So ab batao kia soch rhi thy???" He asked

"Soch rhi thy and even proud feel ker rhi thy that my best friend who used to run away from these things is sincerely engrossed in his work" she told him lovingly and winking

He too smiled back and then extended his hand, she held his hand and sat beside him holding his arm

"JAAN, time changes...sometimes for good and sometimes for bad,right now it's for good ...I mean...your careless best friend has become more careful..."he spoke smilingly

"I'm proud of you.."nandini replied proudly

He smiled and then said,

"So tum kab se rejoin ker rhi ho clinic? "He asked

"hmm..manik I was thinking that only...tum batao kal se jaun??"she asked

"Aikk min...am I dreaming??... No I mean Miss discipline and punctual lover is still asking?? Jaan u alright na??" He asked dramatically checking her forehead and cheeks

"Offoo manik..mein theek hu ...!!"she exclaimed

"Then why you asking?? You know it better...jab bhi Jana,hei just tell me..pick and drop k Leah I'll be present for my queen !!"he replied so lovingly that her heart melt into the most unique form

She smiled cum blushed

"Fine tomorrow"she replied

She kissed maniks cheeks and at once stood up

"Manik ab tum bhi change kero and please sleep...I know you are very tired.. Ye sab kal kerna" she said picking the lappy and placing it on the other table

He smiled on her antic as it reminded him of their childhood

Flashback,

"Manik tumhari tabiat tou theek hena??Matlab tum homework ker rhei ho?" confused nandini asked

"Han nandini aj mein ker rha hu..."he repliedwith attitude

"Manik kia tum last 2 hour se he ker rei ho...and now it's time to sleep... get up" she said picking his books and placing in the other table

"Nandini ...waha kiun rakh diaa??I was studying na ab page miss hojaeyga ..sara kam spoil hojaeyga"He said little angrily

"Uffo na manik...mene as it is waha rakhi ..and I can't imagine to spoil your work... Bus kero now get up ...or mein ja rhi hu..."she said

"Kaha ja rhi ho??" He Asked

"Per you were staying here only na", he said as he remembered that she came for night stay

" fine baba"she said and sat up

Flashback ends

"You are still the same" he said Looking at her

"Matlab" she asked

"Nothing..."he replied smilingly

"very funny...mein change kernei ja rhi hu"she said and pecked his cheek slightly

she said and went in leaving a smirking manik

She came out wearing her pink nighty and saw manik was not in the room,she checked the balcony too but he wasn't there

"Manik kaha chala gia" she thought

She looked around and saw the latch if the door was open,

"I guess neechei gia hei"she thought

She went upto the dressing table and started applying lotion, she literally took 5-6 mins and manik had still not come,

She placed the lotion back and sneaked out of the room without Thinking about her dressing

She climbed down the stairs

"Manik"she called

"Manik"

At once her eyes fell in the kitchens side ,what she saw left her all awww

Manik was eating melted chocolate that too like a kid,she was literally adoring him,she slowly went in the kitchen and stood leaning at the door

"Uhuu uhuu"she cleared her throat

And finally manik saw her,at once he forgot about the yummiest chocolate in his hands as his eyes fell on his ever so hot wifey

Nandini didn't notice his look and went close to him

"Achaa...tou Mr partner in crime akele akele chocolate khaogei??"she said childishly as they were partners in eating chocolates madly from childhood

"You wanna it it too??" He said looking at chocolate and nandini

"Yess of course... " she said excitedly

"Per manik tum ne bar wali kiun nhi khai ..."she said innocently

"Cauz I love this one more" he said huskily

She extended her hands to cover her finger with chocolate by dipping in but he at once placed it back

"Manikkk" she said irritatedly

"Kia manik??" He said smirkingly

"Manik mujhei bhi chocolate khani thy" she compliant

"Han tou mein dene laga hu mene konsa no bola hei" he said seductively tracing his thumb on her lips

"Phir hatoo lemme eat na" she tried to push him but he at once placed his hand on her back and pulled her with a jerk

"Manik" she whispered shyly

He smirked as he realised that she has guessed what he was upto

He leaned down

"Per sharing is Caring...and moreover jhuta khanei se piaar bharta hei u knoww"he said with a wink and she blushed

He at once captured her lips for a soul searing kiss,breaking and pulling apart he picked her up in his arms and headed towards the stairs

He laid her on the bed and lied beside her,hugging and kissing for plethora of times they dozes off

Next morning

Nandini was the first one to get up,the sunrays peeking in from the curtains hole..making the scene worth watching... Her man sleeping with a beautiful smile,

She at once pecked on his lips and then started ruffling his hair,

"Manik I know something is definitely troubling you...manik beshak we are newly wedded or tum mujehi pareshan nhi kerna chahtei per tum kiun nhi samajhtei k tum tension free hogei I'll be the happiest"

He was smiling in the sleep,watching him smiling her face curled up into a smile too,she traced her finger on his face then on his mole,

She pecked on his nose and then on his mole,

"manik it still looks like a dream to be your wife..!!"she whispered

"Pehlei I'll take shower and then I'll make you wake up... Pura din rest nhi kerogei " she thought

She covered him properly,when she heard

"did you really ever dreamt about marrying me,??"he asked in his ever husky sleepy voice

She was shocked on his sudden question

"ma... Maanikk...tum ...jaag rhei ho"she stammered

He smiled and nodded in a yes

"manik you r such a cheater"she said and tried to get up,he pulled her back

"Tell na?" He again asked

"manik ab tum jag gai ho tou pehlei tum he shower lelo...huh go"she said avoiding his question

"I won't go or tumhei bhi nhi janei dunga so bolo "he retorted

" arrei baba I meant k its like a dream to be a wife of your own best friend "she said pulling his nose

And at once got up,

"nan...Nandini...where is my morning dose???"he asked making a frown

"Wo toh mene dediaa..!!" She said acting smartly

"Kaab" he made a pouty face

"Jab tum so rhei they" she told him

"Ohh tab ..what that??" He at once shouted and she turned behind and next what she found was being pressed under a heavy body

"Maanikk..."she was literally baffled on his act

He at once captured her lips into his for a long lasting ,passionate morning dose...pulling apart he looked at her angelic yet breathless face

"you know I love to shut your smartness "he said with a wink

"you are such a monster "she said and punched him

They sat up straightening themselves

"Manik time dekho" she said and both got busy in getting ready

Both were ready for their jobs

Nandini was standing infront of the mirror all ready,she was about to put the vermilion when manik stopped her hand

"JAAN ...as far as I know k ye haq husbands ka hota hei...so may I do the honours?? "He asked lovingly

She smiled and extended the box ,he gently yet lovingly filled a little area of her parted line

He bent down and gave her a bus on her forehead

"I love you Jaan" he confessed

"I love you too manik" she retorted and hugged him

They were leaving

Both were going together and manik was to drop her

"Wese nandini... Tum konsa koi cardiologist ho Jo Jana zaroori hei..."he said mockingly

"urghh manik let's go" she rolled her eyes
