Okay so this is my first ever post on IF. I'm inspired by all the amazing writers out here in IF. You guys are just amazing. This is just a try from my side. It's a one shot in which there's this 'emotional MaNan convo' which i suppose everyone of us wanna see it onscreen since Manik's comeback, don't we? So, this may not be upto your expectations, but just an idea of how i would like to have their convo which was supposed to happen after Manik's comeback. But anyway, hoping to get one soon. MaNan : Always and Forever Till Infinity Runs Out.
Nandini's Pov :
The moon's bright light had illuminated the dark night sky. The stars were shining like diamonds in the sky. There was a cool breeze. The rustling sound of the leaves of the trees could be heard. We were in Manik's backyard. We were strolling there and talking about my bucket list; crossing out the one's which were done, adding new one's to the list and so on. After about 10 minutes, we got tired and sat down on a nearby bench. There was silence between us. I don't know, but there were some kind of thoughts going on in my mind and feelings in my heart that made me scared. I felt insecure. I just needed to let out those thoughts and feelings. A lone tear escaped from my eye. I quickly wiped it off. Meanwhile, Manik noticed me. "Nandini, say something. Why are you soo quiet?" he said. I was lost in my thoughts and hence i didn't hear his voice. He flicked his fingers in front of my eyes. I came out of my thoughts. "Nandini. What happened? Where are you lost?" he said. "No, nothing happend," i said. He understood me and said, "Come on Nandini, you are free to share anything with me. Tell me, what's the matter?" I started... "Manik you know what? These four months...That night when you never came back...and people told that you di...ed in an accident... I thought everything was over. That same night with you was the best night of my life. I felt complete. I had my everything with you. And when you never returned, my whole world came crashing down. I thought i lost you forever. You had promised me that you will always be there with me. 'Tum Humesha mere saath rahoge.' But then, you just left me. I was completely shattered Manik. My world just came to an end." He was listening to me attentively. He knew what was going on inside me. Tears welled up in my eyes. "Hey! Nandini. Come on! Stop crying. I'm here with you now. I will never leave you. No one can ever separate us again. You trust me na? Please don't cry. These tears are very precious. Please don't waste them like this,"he said. He wiped my tears. I smiled and continued,"But then, you know what Manik? There was this little hope inside my heart. This hope kept me going these four months. My heart was telling me that one day you'll definitely come back. You will come back to complete our 'Humesha.' The promise which you made. You know Manik, if you wouldn't have come back, i'd never be able to love anyone else ever again. You are my first and you will only be my last. These four months i just survived. I didn't live. I used to hallucinate you everywhere. People thought that i was mad. Everyone told me that Manik is de..ad. He won't come back. I should just try to move on. But no. My heart said that you will come back one day. I had a strong hope in me. And yes! You came back Manik! My happiness knew no bounds. I knew that my hope would win! Promise me Manik that you'll never leave me ever again? You'll always be there with me. Forever. Humesha." Tears welled up in his eyes too. He immediately took me in a tight hug. He started crying badly. I rubbed his back to calm him down, although we both were vulnerable. We needed each other. We stayed in the same postion and I continued "Destiny had already snatched from me the two most precious people in my life; my mom and dad. I had no strength to lose you. But then you did come back..." He cut me off and said "Yes. I did come back. You know why? Because we are fated Nandini. Even destiny won't separate us because it wants us to be together. Forever. Humesha. In the hospital, there was not a single moment i didn't think about you. Every minute i used to think 'How you must've been?' 'Where you must've been?' 'What must've been going through you?' You know what? The doctors had given up on me. I had slipped into coma. There were very less chances for me to come back. But why wouldn't i come back? I had to come back for you. After all i had a promise to fulfill. To always be there with you. Forever. Humesha. I fought death just to come back to you. To complete our 'Humesha.' I loved you, I love you and I will love you 'ALWAYS AND FOREVER TILL INFINITY RUNS OUT.'" I smiled on his pure confession. "I love you soo much Manik. Thank you for everything you've given me. Never leave me again," i said. We broke the hug. There was silence between us for a while. He quickly smashed his lips against mine and we had a soul - searing kiss. We kissed and kissed till we went breathless. We broke the kiss in need of oxygen. It was a pure kiss. Pouring out all the love we had for each other. "Okay i'll just come in a minute. You wait right here," he said."Fine. Come soon," i said. He went inside the house. Don't know why. Anyway, on my part I felt really happy and complete now. Finally i let out everything that was going on inside me. I felt peace after soo long. The chain of thoughts, doubts and insecurities finally came to an end. After about five minutes he came back with a guitar in his hand. "Okay so, i'd like to sing a few lines for you. May i?" he said. I smiled. "Yeah sure! I'd love to hear," i said. He smiled and started...

(He came near me and entwined his hands with mine. I smiled at him.)

(He sang every line of the song with his whole heart. He sang as if he meant every word of it.)

(I quickly got up and gave him a quick peck on his cheek. He smirked.)
With this he ended the song. "I loved it Manik. Thankyou soo much for everything. I love you soo much," i said. He smiled and said "My pleasure. Glad you liked it."

I laid down on the grass and gazed at the stars. He too came and laid down beside me. Since it was winter and there were cold winds blowing, i felt cold. I was shivering. He noticed me and immediately took off his black blazer and put it around me. I smiled at him. I felt better and warm. I was busy gazing at the stars. I sensed that his gaze was fixed on me. I flicked my fingers in front of his eyes. He came back to reality. "Hey? Where are you lost? Look at the stars! They are soo beautiful. They look like diamonds in the sky, don't they?" i said. "Why would i look at them when I already have the most beautiful and brightest star right beside me,"he said in a husky voice. I blushed. After sometime, i felt sleepy. My eyes were closing. My head was on his chest, listening to his heartbeat and his hands on my shoulder, cuddling me. I felt safe in his protective embrace. I snuggled more and more into him and he held me more tightly and securely. I felt soo lucky to have him in my life. I closed my eyes and was about to sleep when i heard him whispering in a soft voice,"I fell in love the way you fall asleep; slowly and then all at once.""I love you," i said with a warm smile on my face. He kissed my hair and said,"I know.. And I love you too."He too confessed his love and slowly we both drifted to deep sleep.
