Feb5, Nyo.., writing always kept "MaNan" their love above everything and sometimes over their individual self..that could have been a bane , if not they made their love so beautiful and had them so happy together.

Why just blame desi shows...let's look around at fandoms...it's always about the "I/My fav. actor" over the "we" of the pair that was above all of that😆

Overkill of anything is what becomes a bane...it is when you strike the right balance, find a GENUINE vibe that you create something memorable and special...that is what we got with MaNan.

I am so smug, all our essay writing at the AT was worth it because they handled and evolved so beautifully. Handling his baggage, his issues to Nandu's perceptions and her inexperience. They really did protect their love which is why we felt for them and had the same instincts.

In every sense, almost all the facets of their relationship grew and evolved- they literally worked on their bond- that is rare. Well some ppl would have you think, this AT only supplied hormonal ideas to the creatives...who knows shaayad relationship evolution ka tukka hi lag gaya writers se😛😆

Their hands joining is always ❤️!!!!

They always made it look so effortlessly perfect. 😳

Second one is my fav as well, she traces I love you and then they join their hands and with her other hand she pushes his other hand down. All without even looking.😳😳

It was perfect in the first diwali episode on the bed, just wow.😳

Another old post...lol I like how most of these things held true even though their relationship went through manyyy more ups and downs after that point...that almost desperate quality...yes, over time they found peace and faith in their bond...but that desperate need for each other remained.

[quote=AreYaar]This core issue b/w them is that they love each other so much but really aren't able to ARTICULATE it to each other...yes I'm including Nandu in this even though she isn't as hopeless at saying it as Manik is...That is why this almost DESPERATE/DESPAIRING quality to their feelings for each other...they love each other too much to let go but they don't yet have the faith that this will work either...Poor kids...

I remember writing LOTS of essays on this scene. 😆 Literally bombarded Genie with them at one point. 😆

It was a well-written scene, had unusual depth and maturity for what most people thought was a hormonal teen show. Too bad that the aftermath of this scene was again spoiled by offscreen drama as was the norm in this show. 🥱

Phor ju...HANDS😛

THE f**kING HAND GAME.

Jeez, these two and their way with their hands. The fact that such an intimate expression was integrated in their writing and story telling . And they continued evolving with it. Magic.

Right from the time, their hands connected when he saved the fireflies to the storeroom , when they saw each other in different light. Their hands been witness to their growing love and trust.

The first one, reassured grasp of love. The lazy doodle of giddy love . To the tentative touch of healing and togetherness. hayeee

Hayeee..the outhouse arc is one of our favs. The whole back and forth about trust, face value- rare , rare. it was something , that needed to be evolved..but whatever, i have fondest memories debating it with you.

Manik was right in his way and so was she, I remember, Box you again quoted this when we touched the button wala scene . The evolution be pretty.

Oh God..my heart..their handsss
