Can Nandini please start thinking about her career? Although the "muchhad husband" bit was funny, I refuse to believe Nandini would have been married by now. She's freaking 18 and a smart girl (or at least, used to be). She knows better than to be married already.

LOL where did she say she'd have liked to be married...she said Amms would have married off...it was just a musing session anyways toh she played along with the joke about muchhad husband...don't think it was a career convo...

Anyways this show has no interest in pursuing Nandu's career options...this is the most it's going to come to...the time for that storyline being pursued is gone...it they can atleast manage to keep this Nandu in character for MaNan scenes, wohi bahut hai😆

Nah, I never said she would have LIKED to get married. I just found it a little weird. "Amms karwa deti aur main chup chap kar leti" kinda thing. That's not the Nandu I'm familiar with. But I agree, Nandu's career has been long overlooked in this show. Her love for science had some potential.

Oh well. The scene was cute, overall.

P. S. I keep forgetting to not overthink/ find logic while watching this show. LOL

For the sake of the argument, I would point out that even the old Nandu was pretty terrified of Amms and totally melted into a puddle around her...so it wouldn't be a stretch to see an Amms bulldozing Nandu into marriage. Maybe Nandu was talking 5-6 years into the future post college...

Not to say I'm thankful it never came to that😆

And yes Nandu has never showed any serious career ambitions in this show since day one...her only ambition in the beginning was to find a cure for Rishab and watch her fireflies glow😆

I guess I was going by the first few episodes where she was debating on whether or not to take up music/ go with science. Let's not forget that she chose music because she had already gotten a full scholarship at SPACE and needed to save money for Rishab's treatment. Now that he's cured, I would have liked her to start having some thoughts about her career. (Not related to what I said earlier about marriage but still wanted to point this out)

Again, oh well. As long as I'm getting cute MaNan scenes, I'm a happy viewer. 😆

Oh I do get where you were coming from...I remember that Nandu too...but that Nandu kinda went poof from the moment she met Manik and MaNan started full on...even in all her clashes with Manik there was never any indication of ambition...she joined NH3 with reluctance, did her music schooling like business as usual and science was only ever mentioned again in the Mangalore track as a precursor to romance😆...I'm not complaining, it was a great scene...but Nandu's mentions of her interest in science are too far and few in between to count for overall character development.

Pandit track was the closest they came to trying to show Nandu making a mark with her music and even that got jumbled up into a MaNan hope thing😆...so rendered pointless.

The show is in biding time mode right now...and only the arcs they seem interested in giving Nandu are third angle arcs of one-sided loverboys😆

Yesterday I happened to watch last year's Diwali epi again and I was amused to see scenes of Dhruv fumbling with trying to express his feelings to Nandu...calling her beautiful and then changing it to calling the Diwali decor beautiful...one year later, how much has really changed...tab Dhruv tha, ab Arya hai trying to give roundabout "You look pretty when you are happy" compliments to Nandu...except the Arya storyline has zero substance😆...

Mahaan toh Dhruv ko bhi banaate the in that Dhruv-Nandu lowe track...always reinforcing his goodness over Manik's "monsterness"...but that track was still at a more promising stage in the storyline...this Arya track now is😆

Well let's hope the song doesn't change by the time the epi airs tomorrow😆

But yes, a good break from Khamoshiyaan soundtrack and Sapna Jahaan...after ages, a non-mopey song on them.

They haven't reused Tum Mile since the farmhouse kidnap scene, right? When he tries to manaao roothi hui Nandu?
