Part 5a
Turns out manik's fake-out kiss maneuver is just another prank. He lets it go far enough that nandini thinks he's being serious and nervously suggests they date first.
manik bursts out laughing at her choice of words, and nandini dashes out of the room, mortified. She leaves behind the reason she went there in the first place " her workbook covered in "I manik" doodles, which he smiles to read.
Tearily, Nandini wonders if she really is stupid for liking him even after he treats her like this. But she can't control her feelings.
Note: guys some of you are confused between the story line which I will try to clarify as much as possible. The doddles on the book is actually because in these few days during the study lessons and the time she spent with manik she is started to feel for him to which now she has ended up scribbling on her book but she still is waiting for her mystery man but let's see what destiny awaits for her.

Their was an announcement calling everyone in the auditorium for something special happening for the next few weeks.
Everyone started to move here and there to get a glimpse about the event happening and finally they succeeded by gathering around the auditorium where raghav stood with princi waiting for everyone to give them a chance to speak. After few mins they started:
Raghav: "so guys we are here to give you an interesting news which I hope you will wish to take part in. But I won't be telling you anything as here princi would like to continue."
princi: "hi everybody I hope you enjoy being part of S.P.A.C.E and are trying your level best to maintain our standards. I am really happy to announce a name which worked hard enough to gain herself in one of the 50 top seats. Her name is...Nandini murty"
Everyone cheer for her and manik can't stop admiring her innocent angelic face. Nandini is well aware of his gaze on her but ignores it but the heat is radiating on her cheeks which gives manik another reason to smirk by seeing the effect on her.
Princi: "congrats nandini for being in the 50 place keep up the hard work and now for the news that I am here for. Guys there is going to be a intercollege challenge where I want all the bands to perform and win from the other schools competing against us"
All in unison: "woah...we will win...we will win"
Princi: "that's the spirit so I want everyone to go in the canteen and put down your bands name"
All in unison: "ok sir"
Princi: "ok so see you then have a nice day ahead"
After the announcement everyone started talking about the competition. But there was one girl...(yes guys you are right it's none other than nandini murty) who is thinking whether to participate or not but with who.
All of the bands including fab 5 and harshad band noted down there name for the competition.
Nandini heard some voices behind her who were calling her name. She turned around seeing navya, shahid, a boy and soha standing there. She got confused.
soha: "hey nandini. I remember the song that you sung in raghav's class and I am interested in adding you in my band.
nandini: "me??"
Soha: "yh if you want you can I mean I need another person and you sing well"
Nandini(in an enthusiastic tone): "ok"
Boy: "hey I am aryaman I play the drums"
Nandini: "hi"
Just then she heard a voice saying "hi". She turned around to she...Abhimanyu
Nandini ran to him and hugged him tightly. This scene was watched by our very own manik malhotra who was burning with jealousy.
Nandini: "omg omg...Abhi tum"
Abhi: "ha mein baby doll...i am a member of soha's band...i play the guitar"
Nandini: " so I will be performing with you"
Abhi: "yh"
Soha: "ok so now we got our band let's name it something"
Abhi: "how about "wings"
Nandini: "unusual and unique name"
Soha: "perfect"
Abhi: "so let's put our name down"
They put down there name and it doesn't take long for others to find out nandini being part of the challenge some mock at her and some say it's a challenge as they know her singing talent.
Another announcement was made to tell the students the event will be tommorrow itself so they should brace themselves and start practising. The day went in practising and some people even practised at night including fab 5.
Next day @ space:
It was the day where people were practising as best as they could and finally it was time to tell whether the practise was worth it or not.
Raghav: "so guys today is the day we are going to do round 1 only so I want harshad group to come up and perform"
Harshad came with his group members. One was on the drums and the other on keyboard. Two were on guitar including harshad. Harshad closed his eyes and Started singing.

Harshad ended the song by his guitar tune and humming. He opened his eyes slowly to see the reaction. He saw everyone so lost in the music to which he smirk and then raghav spoke bringing everyone back to life.
Raghav: "soo a nice and romantic performance lets see our next performance which will be by "wings"
Shahid starts his drums by his beats with soha and abhi joining in the tune. Aryaman and navya joins in after a min or so and then after few mins Nandini starts singing by strumming her guitar. She closes her eyes to feel the moment.

Fab 5 came and took there positions: Cabir at the back with the drums, dhruv at the corner of the right with his guitar, alya with her piano next to cabir on the left hand side, mukti with her electric guitar in the left hand side corner opposite dhruv and last but not the least manik with his guitar in the front but in between aliya nd cabir with his smirk.
Cabir started by his beats and then dhruv and manik joined in by strumming their guitar matching up to cabir's beats. After a few mins mukti joined in and so did aliya with the all five making a similar tune manik started singing by closing his eyes and feeling the music.
