Q - As you are the face behind some of the most beautiful love stories of television nowadays, why you think your creative vision always click so well with the audience?

Richa - I really feel humbled by all the compliments. You would be able to tell me that better what works for all of you but I can share what I try to do with the stories. We all crave the ideal love story, the fairytale we were told as kids. But we live in the real world and all of us are flawed and definitely fall in love with people who are flawed too. So what I try to do is make the characters flawed and the love story perfect.

@ Bold underlined: That was RY. In S2 it is the other way round. Characters are written to be perfect... From Dhruv to Alya to Mukti to Navya... everyone is good... Nandini is perfect... Perfect to the point of being annoying with her "I need to sort it all" OR " I need to micro manage lives of people around me" complex...

Perfect/ near perfect characters but horribly flawed or even compromised characterizations...

Hence the DISCONNECT...
