It is a new day, a new morning... but without Manik...

i got up from bed, brushed my teeth and prayed to aiyappa for everyone, including manik and cabir too...

today Naina is coming... My Naina...

you know wo meri hi copy he, bilkul mere jaisi.. bas fark he to use pasand he dance and mujhe Music..

Naina... Naina Rao... She is my Bua's daughter, or should I say, "PRINCESS"...

sabki nani he wo... chulbuli, pyari, bubbly... bas aisi he naina...

but ek baat mujhe samj me nahi aa rahi that she is very passionate about dance then why she is joining Space..? i have to find out...

Railway Station...

we r waiting for bua and naina... rishabh is sitting on a bench beside chachi and me and chacha r seeing for passenger.. but they are not there...

but suddenly i heard something..

" OOUUCHHH, kya karte ho bhaiyaji... dikhta nahi he kya..? suna he mumbai me sab bahot busy hote he.. par iska matlab ye nahi k bina dekhe hi chale... aiyappaa, ye kaha aa gayi me..?"

and a smile appeared on my face... there she is... Naina...

i saw she is running towards me... she just hugged me so tightly... i felt relief..

Na: nandu dii... how are you..? aap kaiso ho..? pata he maine aapko kitna miss kiya..? aur aapki to koi khabar bhi nahi, wo to nani batati rehti thi bas... par aap to mimbai aake naina ko bhul hi gaye.. kyun..? aur...

N: are bass bass, tu chup rahegi tab me bol paaungi na..?

Na (with a fake smile): sorry... bahot bolti hu na me...

Bua: are nandu..?

N (i hugged her, coz i feel motherly warm from bua): bua... kaiso ho aap..

bua (breaking the hug): me thik hu tu kaisi he..?

N: bas thik hu... aaiye chalte he...

we all settled down in taxy, as usual chacha is bargaining for charges, and chachi is complaining about him to bua, while naina is looking outside and admiring things...

sab waisa hi he.. but pata nahi kyun sab adhura lagta he... Manik... Kaha ho tum..? tumhare bina sab adhura he...

my chain of thoughts were broken by naina.. she was clicking fingers in front of my eyes..

Na: kya hua didi..?

N: nahi kuch nahi...

we reached murthy house. we all settled down in living room...

chachi: haaye meri naina (kissing her forehead)

Na: mami, aapke chholee... mujhe khane he...

chachi: ha ha bilkul, aaj sham ko wahi banaungi... didi aap bhi yahi ruk jaaiye, kal ke kal jane ki kya jarurat he.?

N: bua, aap kal hi jaa rahe ho.?

bua: beta me yaha sirf naina ko chhodne aayi thi, ab tumhare fufaji bhi akele he ghar pe, tumhe pata hai na ek din bhi mere bina unka gujara nahi hota...

N: par bua..

Na: rehne do na nandu di... jane do na ..

i glared at her, yes naina and bua, wo dono ek dusre se bahot pyaar karte he, but sabse zyada ladte bhi wahi he.. i am sure phirse kuch hua he...

Na: kyaa aap aise kyun dekh rahi ho.? me to bas papa ko taklif na ho isiliye...

N: thik he thik he...

bua (holding my hands into her): dekh nandu tu badi samjdaar bachhi he meri, par Naina nahi he. (we looked at naina, she was talking and laughing with rishabh and chachi) dekh meri beti bachhi he abhi.. kya sahi kya galat nahi pata he use. space me shayad aakar uski life badal jaye..

N: but bua, use dance pasand he and aap .

Bua: janti hu, par me use tere jaisa banana chahti hu. jaisi tu he waisi..

N: par bua, sabki life alag alag hoti he, sabki destiny alag alag hoti he, uski destiny me kya he hame nahi pata, aur hame ye decide bhi nahi karna chahiye.

bua: janti hu beta, bas yahi pata lagana chahti hu k kya he uski destiny.??

we looked at naina, bua sahi kehti he wo bachhi he..

N: i promise you bua, naina ka khayal rakhungi..

bua nodded and we all headed toward dinner. we ate, we laughed. at the end we all were tired and headed towards bedrooms.

me and naina were sharing bedroom.

we sat on the bed, having our favourite late night hot chocolate.

Na (sipping hot chocolate): ahhhaaa, nandu dii aapke hath ki hot chocolate, wahhh.. bahot miss kiya pata he maine aapko..

i saw a lone tear in her eyes, ofcourse janti hu, we are soul sisters, i instantly hugged her.

N: miss to maine bhi tujhe kiya.

Na (without breaking hug): to aap aise kyun chali aayi mumbai.? pata he manglore me hum kistni masti karte the..

finally i broke the hug.

N: janti hu, but tu janti he na, maa aur appa ke jane k bad rishabh ki kya halat thi, sirf uske liye me mumbai aayi thi.

Na: to phir aapne music kyun join kiya.? ap to scientist banana chahti thi na, mamu ki tarah.?

N: ha banana to chahti thi, par naina, life me wo nahi hota jo hum chahte he, life me wo hota he jo hamari destiny me likha hota he.and...

Na: uff nandu di...(she made an irritated face) not again ha your lectures.

N(i twisted her ears): achhaa, lectures...

Na: ahh sorry sorry...

and we both laughed. then suddenly i thought she is joining space, why.?

N: naina... tu space kyun join kar rahi he.? tujhe to dancing ka sokh he na...

Na (with a sad face): ma chahti he k me music sikhu, jaise nani, aap. to isiliye.

N: tune bua ko nahi bola ki tujhe dance sikhna he.

Na: aap janti ho na dii, agar me kuch bhi kahu to wo ulta mujhse hi ladti he (she got up from bed) and waise bhi, maine kab kaha k me music sikhungi, balki space wale meri singing sun ke mujhe khud hi bahar nikal denge...

and she winked at me, she is just mad... i smiled...

Na: nandu di..?

N (i looked up): haa..

Na (she show me a photo): ye kon he..?

that was Manik's photo, manik's smiling photo. instantly a lone tear escaped from my eyes, and a weak smile too.

manik ki smile, sabse precious and beautiful thi, jab wo hasta tha na to lagta tha ki everything is normal and...

my thoughts were interrupted by naina.

Na: diii..?

N(i grabbed the photo frame from her): koi nahi so jaa..

Na(she sat back beside me with big shocked eyes and an O' face) :ohhooo, boyfriend..? (she again grabbed the photoframe) waise handsome he, aur cute bhi..

a proud smile appear on my face, and a secret blush too.

Na(making an aww face): awww, you are blushing... seriously dii, aap inse pyaar karte ho.? naam kya he inka.? kya ye bhi music ki field me he.?

N(i was so much in my dillema that i could not speak anything but just): MANIK (a whisper)

Na: kya..? Manik..?

N: haaa.. Manik Malhotra.

Na:Manik Malhotra.. hmm nice name... aap kab milva rahe ho mujhe unse.?

N: wo ab kabhi kisi se mil nahi sakta.

Na: matlab.?

I wiped my tears, because i dont want her to be part of my pain.

N: matlab kuch nahi... so jaa kal subah college jana he.

Na: par di ye...

N(i interrupted her): par war kuch nahi so jaa ab.. mujhe bhi bahot neend aa rahi he. (faking a yawn) good night.

I switched off the lights and acted like i slept instantly.

Naina's POV

nandu di kya chhupa rahi he.? kon he ye manik malhotra.? aur di ne aisa kyun bola k koi unse mil nahi sakta.?

kya di inse pyaar karti he.?

pata lagana hoga naina.. aakhir ye chakkar kya he...

aur ye pata mujhe SPACE se hi chalega...
