This time i am not sorry for delay because i was upset bcz of reponse for the note so i am not writing any past of them just continuing with their adventure..so here goes the update enjoy reading..😊😊

Chapter 5 update :

They made way down the roof with the help of branches.

Though it's been rough, both are have small cuts and wounds, the reached safely with no major injuries.

As soon as they got down,

Manan: oh nooo!!!

Both shouted as it started raining

Manik : ohh crap!! Ab yeh kya hua

But it refreshed every part of island with gush and genially weather filled life in plants, flowers, birds and MANAN tooo..

Such an unknowing Blythe stole their hearts.

Nandini : (with a sweet low voice, spreading her hands wide apart, trying to catch every droplet )

Manik, ye dekho na, kitne saare boond ko pakad liya maine.

Mama hamesha bolti thi, "zindagi bhi ye baarish ki tarah hai, Jaise baadal roti hai (kushi ho ya dukh ke waje se ho) aur jab ye baarish ruk jaati hai tho sab jagah aur bhi sundar banjati hai, hume bhi dil pe rahe har baat isse baarish mey chod deni hai aur uske baad dil mey wo sookoon milti hai, wo kushi, which we can never explain in words ".

Manik pov : (awestruck with those lines )

kaash mujhe bhi aise sukuun milta. That peace. But still all these are crap. They never work just like relationships

Nandini : (lost herself in rain and feelings )

Mama bhi kitni pyaari hai, unki yaad aari hai mujhe bahut.

Manik, tumhe pata hai mai aur mama saat mey masti karte the. Wo garam chai, thandi ice cream baarish mey. Wah ! Missing everything manik. -"

Manik : (in silence ) lost in thoughts of his mom listening nandu about her mom's stories.

Mom, I love you and miss you so much. Recalls the time when as a kid very happy running all around the house when it rained and mama coming back of him with bilious look, as manik gets I'll very soon. The way his mum with a stick in hand, shouting manik ! Manik ! And he escaping making faces, mama you can't catch me, I can run fast than you.. HahahhahhahhahHah ! ! ! !

Thinking all these he smiles to himself.

Nandini : (with holler )

Manik ! Manik ! Kya hogaya ? Hosh mey tho ho ? ( shaking him by shoulders)

Manik : ( with suddenly. Jerk ) haa... Haa...( Looking here n there) kya huwa ?

Nandini : wahi tho mai bhi puch rahi hu, kya huwa tume ? In which world are you lost ?

Manik : no, nothing nothing. Tell, what you are speaking.

Nandini: theek hai, mai wo bol rahi thi

kitna acha hota hain baarish mey beekna ... tume waise kya problem hain baarish se??

Why do you hate it ?

Manik (shocked): wo naa, kuch nai. Aise hee pasand nai hai.

Nandini : haan manik, pata hai mujhe. Par tune kabhi nai bataya kyu ?

Manik :( sulkily) arey Nandini , sach batav kya ? Sun paogi ? Sun ke sambal paogi apne app ko ?

Nandini :(with a worried look ) tell me manik, what happened ? Anything wrong ?

Manik : wo na, wo wo,

Nandini ( impatiently) be quick, tell,

Manik : mujhe na, wo huwa, mai, saat , wo wo

Nandini : be clear, say properly. Kya huwa tumhe ?

Manik : wo, (hastily ) mujhe mendak se dar lagta hai.

Wo kitne gaande hote hai,. Yaak, ( and he sneers)

Nandini : so filthy you are. Mujhe Dara diya tune. Ruk, batati hu tumhe,.

( She searches for some stock or small branches of tree ) and runs back of him with it.

Manik : with loud laughter, hahah ! Nandini. Tum bhi na,, ( he keeps running )

( just like way he did as a child )

Manan get tired and just stop for sometime.

Then they look at each other and starts laughing.

Nandini: tumhe sirf mama ke saat rehna pasand hai na, baarish mey khelna bhi. Jab se tu unse door rehna shuru kiya tab se ek baar bhi enjoy nai kiya. Mama ka baccha, :)

Nandini says this without realizing what she is saying..

And she is mesmerized by beauty of the place where they reached, get occupied with beauty around.

Manik : ( don't know what to tell ) tum kabhi kuch bhi nai bhoolti Ho,. Mera har choti baat pata hai tumhe.

Nandini wandering around doesn't pay attention to his words.

Sudden shout of manik bring her back from amazement.

Manik : what?

Nandini : what? Manik kya hua kyu chilaa rahe ho(asked confusingly)and waise manik come here,lets dance and enjoy the rain. waha kyu khade ho? Aajo, (pulling manik by hand )

(The place where manik and nandini stood is a junction where half side towards forest( where Nandini stood), is raining while other side of coast no rain at all ( where manik stood))

Manik :NO thanks tum enjoy karo

Nandini : uff manik ! You are incorrigible.

Tum kitna boring hoo tumhe pata hai ? I can't help you.

She leaves him and starts singing, dancing lightly and feeling every droplet that touching her soul.

Manik stood there, lost in nandini. That moment is eternal. Its like a jaunt. Stood there admiring the way she is.

Suddenly

Nandini : manik bus ek baar tum baarish mein aao na, trust me u will enjoy alot, u can feel peace plzz for me, please and drags him by hand.

Manik who is into nandini completely, just followed her and slowly moves towards her, holding her waist, pulls her very close to him that not even air could pass between. He starts dancing with her. Every single step showed that he can't stay far from her, so exquisite and intense.

Nandini who didn't understood what's going on and how to react ( in heart there is a bliss, smiles and though she liked what happening with her, which she neglects )

After 2mins, the thunders break their eye lock. Both back into senses, now in some embarrassing mood, looking around the place.

Manik : look here, there is no rain there but here it is raining. How ?

Nandini :yeahh!! I don't know.

Leave it. Don't change conversation now.

Manik : what I changed ?

Nandini : you are going to enjoy the rain . I will teach u how.

Ab tumhare arms spread karo , close ur eyes and just feel the cold breeze which is wishing you hai , that each droplet on ur face refreshing you, listening to what your heart is speaking.

Just feel it, everything,.

Firstly manik hesitates to do but for Nandini smile, manik does same as she said.

Manik pov:

Listening to Nandini, her voice and her mums. With all those beautiful moments he had, closed his eyes, heart pounding high with tranquility, he can listen his heartbeat, birds chirping, each sound of water droplets, soothing breeze, chilled rain droplets falling on him.

May be for the first time in my life, I understood, the same rain I see everytime is different from today. ( is it because of Nandini ? Or this isalnd ) I can feel difference standing in rain , as if the gush took away all my fears , anger, ,hate ,tensions, unknown happiness , as if every drop carrying a new experience.

To my surprise I'm liking rain.

Manik opened his eyes, slowly turning towards nandini, hugged her tightly at first she didn't respond because of sudden reaction, after that she reciprocated the hug and he hugged even more tightly.

Halt of rain broke their hug

Manik : thank u nandini , you know what I love rain. I always did but just didnt realise. May be I felt I cannot enjoy without mum. Thanks, mama' s always say correct, just like aunt.

Nandini : its okay manik I can understand you.. May be I know you better than you.

( With sudden expression) ayo ayyapa ! What happened to me today? Mr.Malhotra said thanks to miss.Murthy ?

Manik : hahha !! Nautanki shuru.

Nandini : ( also with a smile )

I am happy for u. I know you wouldn't have noticed. let me show u something. the most beautiful scenary after rain. Closing his eyes, she turns around.

A rainbow as if touching the sky and ground with elegant colours, above the sun which is going to set down, calm seashore. Unpredictable nature, who knows how beautiful the world is ?

" one doesn't need just EYES to see beauty but also need a beautiful HEART "

Manik :WOW !! nandini its awesome ( awestruck)

They sit by the shore staring at scenic view for sometime.

Nandini : manik.. chalo ab, barish bhi rukh gai hai and also not so damp here

Manik : okay chalo, we have to find way too.

Manan started their journey. Towards the forest started manan's manzil. Being a rocky surface, Nandini held manik's hand tightly , so that she wont slip. They kept moving forward..

After an half mile walk, manan found that their way is blocked .

Nandini : ( with despair look) oh no ! manik yeha tho way blocked hain ab kyya kare ?

Manik : (thinking) hmmm...

kuch nai kar sakte ab, peeche jake kuch dekhna hain koyi aur rassta hain ya nahi, nai tho wo tree house Jana hai fir se because its going to be dark in an hour or so I guess.

Nandini : okay

When they turned around slowly, for everyones surprise,

the path from where they have come is also blocked.

Nandini : ( with astonishment) manik ab yeh.. ? kaise hosakte hain( impatiently) hum abhi abhi yehi se aye the na, toh block kaise hogai.. ? Humare saat aisa kyu hora hai ?

mujhe bahut daar lagraha hain. ( in low scared tone )

Manik :nandini , please , don't get scared. I am there na with you. Tumhe kuch nai hoga.

Nandini nods , hope so.

Manik looked around and found nothing.

Manik :

so there is no option to find the way out from here.

they sat down on the grass. And stars stood above there head, pointing night.

Nandini held manik's arm tightly and lied her head on his shoulder.

Manik smiled and kept his arm around nandini and took her in his protective arms.

( that awkward feeling to hold or embrace each other is gone, as if it never existed)

By fortnight, nandini sleeping on his chest, there remained silence.

Nandini : ( when she opens her eyes in between ) manik, waha dekho waha kuch hain? ( holds him more tightly, as she is scared )

Manik looks where nandini is pointing at. He on checking finds a small Pandora box.

Manik opens it. He found a very old paper something written on it. The paper had brown spots, the ink spread because of water, Torn in corners, ( showing that the paper have been in box for years )

Manik thought it could be a scrap and leaves it.

nandini loudly shouts at manik

Nandini :manik, what is that paper ? Bring it here. It can have any clue or something.

Manik :seriously ? nandini tujhe aise kyu lagta hain . it is even difficult to read it.

Nandini : manik jo bhi hain, yeh paper ko dekar lagta hain ki yaha pehle koi aur bhi aya tha. May be a research paper. We can use this na. this island is a puzzle, try karte hain issme solve karne ke liye kuch milega tho.

Manik : okay as u wish per mujhe nai lagta kuch milne wala hain.. okay lets see whats there in this paper

Nandini : okay and both look at paper keenly.

And now, paper is blank on both sides.

Manik is confused. Something was written before. How can it be empty now ?

That's the end for day.

What is it ? What was written ? How it vanished ?
