Later, Manik and Soha came down with hand in hand, and greeted everyone, and once breakfast was over,Manik and Mohan left to work,and Radha went inside for some work, Nandini who was clearing the dining table , raised her head to see Soha standing near her and she warned Nandini saying "Never try to make him yours by your silly ways, you know you are nothing when compared to me, and even if you present yourself to him, he will not accept you, he'll always chose me over you, he'll always be roaming around me like a puppy, you may be his wife, but actually you are not, remember that, you bloody bit**" and she left the place. Nandini immediately left the place and went to her room and went near her bappaji and asked " Did i asked you for this, i was happy with being daughter to my father, we may lack in money there, but we didn't lack in happiness, here there is surplus of money, but not a single trace of happiness, i don't want to be here, what am i destined to?" and then she composed herself hearing a knock on the door, and to her shock she find Manik standing there.
He stepped in, Nandini moved near the balcony and stood there without responding to him, he placed all his files on the bed and went near her and made her sit on the bed, he kneeled on the floor near her and said "Am so sorry, for, what all you were suffering today is because of me, i didn't expect Soha to behave in such a way, but you know she was not able to share me with you, thats her point, but she was little harsh, i'll see to it, that it will never happen again, and you have all rights in the house, as Soha has, except one and that is over me, other than that, you are free to do anything, and if you want you can continue yours studies which was left behind due to our marriage, if you wish to continue, i can get application from the college over here, and you can get a career on your own, and if you wish, you can lead your life in your own way , with whomsoever you want, i am all ready to help you in that." Saying this he left the room.
She came down and Radha smiled at her asking "Manik came to meet you?" Nandini questioned her back " Did you send him?" and radha replied " Actually Manik came back to get some files, that is when he witnessed the scene and he asked me to come and convince you, but i strongly rejected that, so he came himself to your room" Nandini was little happy that atleast he bothered to care a little about her and her future,and she told radha about Manik offering her to continue her studies, and radha asked her opinion about this and Nandini replied affirmatively.
And then Nandini's certificates were collected from her previous college, and she got appointed in a new college in Mumbai, and now she was all set to start to her college from next week, so Radha took Nandini for shopping, and they bought some dresses and required books for her. Nandini was placing all the book in her rack, when Manik came inside her room and gave her the joining letter for the college, she thanked him,and he replied back its his responsibility, and Manik turned to leave the room,when Nandini said "Good night" Manik smiled and replied "Happy night" and he left the room.
Nandini got ready for her college and she didn't missed to help radha in kitchen, and she was having breakfast with everyone, when Mohan asked Nandini "How are you going to college? Do you have license, if so, we can get a two-wheeler for you" Nandini smiled and replied " Yes, i have license" And Mohan replied "Manik place the order for it today, until that you drop her in college" and Manik nodded his head, Nandini and Radha were happy whereas Soha fumed. Manik dropped her in the college and she attended her college and reached home and she explained about her new college, classes and her new friends. Radha asked her to give some rest to her mouth and send her back to room, and then she heard Manik's car sound, and as expected he came to her room, and asked how was her day in college, she explained it was very good, and the college was very huge one compared to her college in her hometown and she informed that she also made friends,Manik smiled at her and left to his room.
It became regular practice for him to visit Nandini, before going to his room, and spend few minutes with her, as she feels happy and he felt little relieved from his guilt of spoiling an innocent girl's life. And one evening,Nandini was wearing a beautiful red saree, and was helping Radha in preparing dinner, Manik came down in his casuals and he saw Nandini in saree and he was dumbstruck for a moment,as Soha never tried her hand in sarees, whereas he liked it a lot, it was clutched to her in way, that it looks like a second skin to her, revealing her perfect tonned body shape.He just nodded his head to get out of his thoughts, and he sat on a chair, and Nandini was serving both Manik and Mohan, and Nandini was standing next to him, and he was able to see her waist through the space between her saree, he wondered whether she was trying to seduce him,but next moment he thought, Nandini was so innocent, that she'll never do those things, and he figured out that he like women wearing saree, but Soha never gave him the chance to enjoy watching her in saree, thats why he was disturbed seeing Nandini in saree.
Radha asked Manik " Where is Soha, why didn't see join us for dinner" and he replied " She was watching her favourite movie, so she asked me to bring her dinner to the room" and he turned to Nandini, she understood and placed the food in a plate and kept it near him, he smiled at her and took it back to their room.Today again Nandini heard arguments between Manik and Soha, and she find the reason to be the same for smoking, Manik was standing outside the door and banging on it and shouting at her to open, and he threaten her saying "Soha, if you don't open the door, you know what i would do, i'll go and sleep with" before he could complete, the door opened and she replied "Go and sleep with her, thats what you want to do"and she closed the door again, and the next moment, he knocked on Nandini's door and as she opened the door ,Manik came inside and placed himself on the bed, he closed his eyes and said "Happy night Nandini, sleep" and he switched off the lamp, and confused Nandini occupied the other side of the bed and both slept.
