PART 27
Next morning 8:30 am
" Nandu... Nandu " Manik called her name when he was getting ready. She lazily hummed pulling the comforter more on her hiding her face too.
" listen I got a call. I have to leave for photo shoot. Will be back soon. You just take care. Bye "
Saying he pecked her temple over the comforter and left.
His photoshoot went pretty well. And he returned back around 2 in the afternoon.
When He Was Driving Home He Received Call From His Friends For That night party And He Agreed. He thought to inform Nandini about the same and would her ask to join him. He called her but she didn't picked up. He called trice but no response. He became little tensed. And drove back home as fast as he could.
He walked in his bedroom and found her still sleeping crawling around like a kid wrapped up in the comforter to to bottom. A smile crept on his face.
Though he smiled but soon his smile turned into frown thinking ' how could she sleep so long? ' as he had never seen her sleeping so long that too like crawling. But then thought might be she was tired and it was a holiday and it was good she was taking rest as he himself loved to sleep like a dog.
He changed himself in his tracks silently and laid down beside her slowly without disturbing her slumber.
He then moved closer to her and softly placed his lips on her head. As soon as he touched her he moved back in a jerk.
He just get stunned. He then grabbing enough courage moved towards her and pulled the blanket down of her face. And the next scene really shocked him.
He found Nandini shivering like hell hugging her knees. She Had fever. High fever actually which scared him when he touched him.
Manik firstly found himself full blank. He couldn't figure out what he needed to do. His heart was sinking gradually seeing his star so in a bad situation.
He inhaled and exhaled few deep scared breaths and then sat beside her cupping her head.
" Nandu " he softly called her stroking her hairs.
When she felt his touch she tried to open her eyes but due to weakness she couldn't.
" Nandu... Nandu " he again called her and that time she with full mental strength stirred her body and placed her head on his lap.
Her body was too warm to Manik's tolerance. She was started shivering more with each passing time.
Manik felt helpless for the first time but yet composing himself he quickly increased the AC temperature to room temperature. And then called his personal doctor.
" hello doc. Manik here. "
" I know it. Tell me how are you young man? " doctor asked as he was Malhotra's family doctor from an age. And very loyal with keeping their secrets from media.
" I am fine. Listen come to my studio fast. Need help " he impatiently said and in between he covered her with another warm comforter.
" but now? I have some appointments boy. See you in hour 2 . Okay. " doctor das said.
" I said now. " he shouted loudly which disturbed Nandini .
Manik understood and sat beside her and started stroking her hairs. Then said with a low not so Manik Malhotra voice " Doc. It's urgent. And you're coming right now. Okay thanks bye. "
He hung up the call and then remembered last time when she fainted and he carried her to his home for the first time that day doctor asked him to give her warm milk.
" Milk !!! Yeahh. " he murmured. And then slowly adjusted her head on the pillow whispering " Baby I am just coming. "
" Daby ???!!! did I just call her baby? " he frowned then swiping away all weird thoughts he rushed downstairs.
He entered into the kitchen. And found milk in fridge. But on his dismay Manik Malhotra the rich brat unexpectedly didn't know how to light up a gas oven.
He tried two three times surfing the Internet but couldn't make it. He face palmed. He became mad at himself for not knowing such a silly thing.
After his good 24 years first time he cursed himself that too not able to help a mere fan girl or else in his words ' his star.' And indeed she was a star as only a start could show you right path on a dark night. And to that alone arrogant darkness surrounded brat's life she brought the light of hope being a sighing star.
And that day he couldn't even took care of his star due to his in abilities of knowing house hold chores.
He then called his Butler to come. And went upstairs to check on Nandini.
Nandini was still shivering. Her temperature was increasing. Manik thought of something and brought his full sleeve t-shirt.
He slowly made her weak half unconscious body sit keeping her full weight on him and made her wear his shirt as she was wearing tank top which wasn't fully covered her shoulder and arms. When he was helping her with the t shirt mistakenly his hands touched on her upper delicate portion.
" Mmmaaannnii... " she murmured which was actually tends to inaudible but he heard. He became amazed thinking even in that crucial moment also she could feel his touch. He surprisingly felt blessed with the effect he had on her. But promptly mentally slapped himself for thinking about these things in that pathetic moment.
" heyy heyy I am here. Don't worry baby you will be alright. Sab thik ho jayega. " saying he hugged her.
In that mean time doctor arrived.
" heyy Manik aaj koun faint ho gayi ? " he entered with a big smile teasing him. Only the person was him who could tease The Manik Malhotra without risking his life with his punch and he had the right also to tease him as he was his father's best friend. And Manik do like him and vice versa.
Manik looked at him and made her laid down in bed. Doctor got surprised seeing the same girl he had treated four months back.
" Ummm this girl !!! " doctor was confused.
" listen I don't have much time for your look look game. Ishe fever hai. Treat her. " he said while doctor came back to his medical responsibility form.
" ohh my god !! She has high fever Manik. " he said while checking her pulse.
" but hua kaise? Anything cold she has taken? Do you know kuch v about her last few days? Nehi toh how will I come to a solution " doctor was checking her BP and asking Manik. As the doctor was sure about that Manik did not know anything he was about to speak to call her family members. But Manik replied
" I know. She is with me from few days. And she didn't take any cold stuffs. " Manik replied which shocked doctor in and out but he thought to discuss it later as that time her health was more important.
" ohh !! Even her BP is low. Sayed morning se she didn't had anything and kya AC whole night iisshi temperature me tha? . " doctor asked and Manik recalled something from last night.
---last night flash back ----
" Manik " Nandini called his name.
" hmm " ed he in sleep.
" I am feeling cold. AC kam kar du ? " she softly asked.
" you feeling cold ? " he smirked in sleep and then pulled her towards him more . Her back crushed on his bare chest and he wrapped his hands and legs with her waist and legs respectively. And the started kissing her shoulder and nape.
" you hadn't enough some time back ? " she asked while struggling with her desires and arching her heads keeping perfect sync to give him full access.
" Nope . I wouldn't. And I don't think I will any day. And the fact is I don't want to " saying he turned her and fussed his desperate lips with her for a passionate kiss.

" shitt !!! It's my fault. She has told me that she was feeling cold. And main? Shitt. Such a moron you're Manik . typical men " he disgusted himself and mentally self punched too.
" Manik !!! " doctor broke his self fight and said " listen there is no need to worry about. I have given injection. Bukhar utar jayega jaldi isse. She will be okay soon. But take care of her health and food. And haan don't let her catch cold. Fever bohot jyada hai ask your servants to give her soups and medicines with warm milk. Okay. "
Though doctor knowing Manik said those things to convey the servants but our... sorry... Nandini's world's king Manik scanned his every words on his brain and made an quick list of his next deeds.
" thank you. " Manik thanked him. Doctor patted his back while leaving and said " I don't know what she is doing here but it seemed she is imprinting good things on you. I was happy to see you so concerned for someone that day and I am still so much relaxed to find you more anxious about the same one. God bless you. And haan we should take a good care of good things. " saying he gave a warm smile and left a confused whilst embarrassed Manik.
" we should take a good care of good things. " it started echoing his mind like a new tune. Manik stared at her serene face. She was sleeping so peacefully with the affect of sleeping injection.
He kneeled down on the floor beside the bed and gently caressed her face. He admired her face for a pretty good time removing the bangs of her face. She was still warm and her high temperature was giving him jitters. He then abruptly started murmuring Taking her hand on him
" I don't know Nandini what spell you have cast on me but when I saw you in that vulnerable state I don't know why but I was feeling my breaths are giving me tough time. Sans nehi le ja raha tha mujhse. Baby I don't know Yeh kya hai but it's now sure that I can't live without you. I need you Nandu. And if it's love they called then I think I love you. As without you I can't even count me on. you somewhere become the reason of my existence. Please don't leave me ever. Be my star Humesha "
He kissed her hand lovingly.
" dude what's wrong with you ?? She is suffering from fever here and you're thinking of these ? Let her recover fast. Such a jerk !!! " his mind again counter attacked his confused heart.
" ya...ahhh , her health is the priority now. " saying he stood up and ran downstairs where his three butlers were already got busy making soup warming up milk and dinner most obviously instructed by doctor Das.

After two hour.
Manik was continuously checking her temperature half seating beside her. She slowly tried to open her eyes .
" heyy !!! " She found his smiling face waving in front of her.
She smiled seeing him smile but yet she was somewhere not satisfied with his smile as because of his pale eyes.
" look kya de rahi ho? Don't you remember me? Doc ko phone karun? It's me Manik " he was blabbering which gave his expected much awaited reward ' her cute pout '.
" Manik !!! " she softly taken his name and tried to sit.
Manik helped her seating saying " thank god you remembered me. "
And in the very next her weak body was pulled by him for a bone crushing hug. Nandini placed her head on his well toned masculine chest and slowly lifted her hands to hug him back.
" Never ever try to do this with me. Never. you get that ?" He whispered and she became shocked as she didn't even remember what she had done.
" Par Manik... what I have done ? Kya kia hai main ne ? " she complained in a low weak voice.
" Nothing " he replied and asked the Butler to bring her soup.

" yuukkk !!! I don't wanna have this. " she stubbornly exclaimed taking just a mere sip.
" listen have it. It's an order. Unless ... " he said back. " Unless !!!! " he thought and then his mischievous mind knocked him.
" Unless I have my own ways Ms. Murthy. Wanna try ??? " he smirked and her eyes popped up.
" Nnnoo , Manik no " she being a cute soul got tricked.
" Try me " he winked and leaned closer to her face.
" Maaanik " she clutched his vest strap for a support. And when he was just about an mere inch far from her pouty lips she exclaimed in one go " Okay I will have it. "
He smirked naughtily accomplishing his target and moved back keeping the bowl in front of her.
" You're such a monster you know." she fake pout and he replied while making her gulped the soup " I know. " and kissed her pout lips quickly.
" My world's King is better than you " she said turnig her face to the poster she had of him while he stuffed her mouth with another spoon. He shook his head seeing her drooling the poster instead of the real him.
" okay baba ... " saying he pecked her temple and just then his phone rang.
It was Aman. He stepped out of the bed and in eyeing said her to finish it.
She had no option but to follow his words and he left outside to talk.
" hello What?? " Manik talked with attitude.
" Sir woh aaj... " Aman could not complete his sentence as he knew what was waiting for him next.
" haan toh ? Kya karu ? " Manik shouted over phone then controlling his raising anger as Nandini was inside and sick he said sternly
" listen I don't care. Dig grave or whatever you want to but I have decided it and that's final " saying he cut the phone and started pressing the cell with full force to control himself murmuring
" I don't let you come again. "

This part is totally inspired by my present condition. Bedridden. Fever. Weakness. Yaak soups juices fruits .Getting frustrated.
So frustration kahan nikalu soch k bechare ff pe nikal Di. Sorry " my world's king ". Pardon me. And you too guys.
