They say to err is human.. Yes we all make mistakes, we all flounder but what matters is how we accept our mistakes and how we make them right... And when the night is at the darkest and road lying ahead is bumpy only then we know who true men are..

Manik made the most beautiful realization of his life but in a very hard way... His heart was happy, I say he has never experienced this happiness.. "I love her DJ I really do.. yes I am not scared of accepting it DJ.." Manik's tears had a hint of happiness as he declared his love for Nandini to the world and so did everyone along with him.. This saddest hour of their lives had one shining moment... But it was all too short lived.. They celebrated too early and maybe destiny didn't wanted Manik to have happiness so soon...

As manik hugged DJ and Abhi and Cabir each other they all noticed a sudden rush of activities in Nandini's room.. They saw a team of doctors and nurses running in and out of her room.. They all stood up confused.. Manik, abhi and Cabir all tried asking the docs what was happening but no one was saying anything and Manik was swinging between hope and darkness.. they all got a shocker when they saw a huge machine and finally Manik had enough.. He held the guy holding the machine and asked "what's this?".. the guy replied "Its a ventilator.." DJ was scared she asked "Why..why do we need it?" The guy looked at her and replied "mam we use this machine when someone goes into coma..we keep them alive with this as they are almost dead.."

DJ slumped on the nearby chair out of shock.. "Coma..Almost dead.." She uttered these words and started crying and everyone else was shocked as they heard it.. The guy wheeled in the machine leaving a shocked Manik.. "She can't go in coma.. she can't leave me like this..." He said to himself and ran in the CCU...

He ran up to Nandini and sat down.. He looked at her pale and scarred face and remembered the smile she gave him in the morning.. He held her bandaged hands and caressed them and few drops of tears escaped his eyes.. The doctors and the ward boys were holding him trying to take him away from her but Manik wouldn't move.. Just then Abhi came in a requested doctors to give him few moments with her... They looked at Abhi and moved aside with the HOD of trauma saying "just few minutes.."

"Nandini.." Manik called out her name with a lump in his throat.. "I know you are angry at me.. I know I am bad guy.. I know I'm a dracula but I am nothing without you this dracula is nothing.. I know I hurt and you punish me.. yes whatever punishment you will give i will bear but not this.. Don't punish me like this Nandini.." Manik broke down completely..."Please wake up.. Please don't leave me like this.. I promise I will love you always and forever... I will love with all my heart and souls and I wll not hurt you.. I promise to be a better man Nandini for you.. but just open your eyes and look at.. Its ok if you want to look with anger I will bear it but look at me please.." Manik's tears won't stop and Nandini just won't open her eyes...

It was few minutes and the doctors gestured Abhi to take Manik out.. He nodded and came to Manik "manik let's go out..' "No I am not leaving her alone.." Manik announced.. "Manik don't be crazy..let the doctors handle her and she will wake up and punish you only if doctors are allowed to treat her.." Saying this Abhi dragged Manik out .. "Manik get a grip of yourself.." Manik shook Manik as he made him sat on the bench.. "How can I?.. didn't you see her condition?" Manik screamed.. "I did this to her and you want me to calm down.." "Exactly Manik.." and for the first time people heard Abhi raising his voice..

"Manik you need to calm down and be strong not for you for her.. She needs you Manik in every possible way and if you loose yourself you will loose her too.. So be strong and believe in everything good that Nandini believes and get your faith for her and for you.." Manik looked at Abhi and hugged his saying "I can't loose her Abhi..." Abhi patted his back and said.. "You won't little bro.." Soon the doctors also came out "we have to operate on Nandini as soon as possible.. That's the only way he can hope to get her back.. Thankfully the ventilator stabilized her for the moment so this is the time.. where's her family.."

They called chacha and gave him the papers to sign.. "What are these?" Manik asked; the HOD of trauma looked at Manik and said "every surgery comes with certain amount of risk and Nandini is in a very critical state so her chances of making through is 50-50.." 'What?" Manik said.. The doctor smlied and said "don't worry Manik I will get back your Nandini to you..After all a wild beast can be tamed by the beauty only.." He said and asked his team to wheel Nandini to the OR..

Manik, DJ, Cabir, Abhi and chacha they all stood waiting for Nandini to be wheeled in the OR.. Soon Nandini was brought on a stretcher with all sorts of wires and machines plugged in her body.. Manik held her hand started walking with her and at this very moment Nandini was regaining her consciousness and she was trying to say something.. Everyone could say she was in much pain as she kept wriggling in pain.. Manik went close to her to listen and all he could hear was his name.. Yes nandini called for him "Ma..Ma..Manik.." "Yes Nandini I am here with you.." Manik said with tears and kissed her on forehead as she was taken in the OR and Manik was stopped...
