During FC, Mukti week hammered the flow and now this . In isolation, numbing out Arya, this conversation works, because Manik does have enabling and controlling tendencies , I won't call him MCP but overprotective bearings like when he is with fab5 and Nandini calling out on it is actually good. Yet this convo is not needed now when they have a bigger threat/confrontation to deal with . It seemed more of a delaying tactic to prolong the Arya game.
