PART 17:
All were excited for the next day the ring ceremony day...
that night manik wasn't able to sleep, all he wanted was the
night to get over asap & the same was happening with
nandini. It was around 3 am when nandini unintentionally
called manik & to her surprise he picked up the call, within a
second.
Manik: hello...
Nandini: manik... tum soye nhi... I told u na to rest!!
Manik: u too aren't asleep madam... Tell me what
happened???
Nandini: nothing... I wasn't feeling sleepy.
Manik: same here...
Nandini: manik I don't knw y but I m feeling very restless... I
mean, frm tomorrow a new phase of our lives is gonna
start...
Manik: a new & a better phase... See as such nothing much
is gonna change... u were till now living away frm ur family
n now also it will be the same... our routines will be the
same... The only thing that is gonna change is that now we
both will be together always...
Nandini: I was waiting 4 this day frm 7 long yrs...
Manik: but 1 major thing is gonna change 4 u...
Nandini: what???
Manik: after 4 days, u'll officially be named as Mrs. Monster
Manik Malhotra...
Nandini: ohh... I seriously didn't even realize this... after
this I will also be a part of ur monster clan... What should I
do now???? I think its never too late to back off so shall i??
Manik: think of it & see what this monster does to u... if u
do any stupid thing now, then I warn u I'll not leave u... I'll
forcefully marry u...
Nandini: like really... u think u can do so...
Manik: yes...
Nandini: ohh then u r very wrong Mr. Manik Malhotra...
Bcoz the key to handle u is with me... ur heart is wid me... I
hv stolen it frm u long back...
Manik smiled at her words and looked towards her
photograph in front of him, in his room. His tone changed
from a naughty one to a romantic one & he said,
Manik: I agree.
Nandini: achcha now enough of fun... Now go and sleep,
otherwise u'll feel weak tomorrow.
Manik: same goes with u ... Sleep now.
And with this both of them fell asleep. The next day was a
really hectic one, everyone was busy in something or the
other. And the major trouble was that they had to hide it all
from the press. Only very few VVIP's were invited. And
about 10 to 15 guests from Australia n London, including
Albert. The ceremony was going to start at 8 pm. It was
around 5 when nandini was sitting in her room, talking to
her fireflies (glowing brightly) with kavya sleeping by her
side. Aliya entered the room n said,
Aliya: nandini... It's ur ring ceremony how can u be so
calm...
Nandini: I m so calm bcoz I hv the world's bestest frndz to
organize my wedding. I knw nothing can go wrong till u all r
wid me n manik.
Aliya hugged her n said,
Aliya: I really missed u all these yrs... u hv helped me so
much, ur words, ur actions, I seem to learn something from
u every time.
Nandini: thank u 4 understanding me... and forgiving me for
my deeds.
Aliya: enough of this emotional drama now... See its already
5:15, v hv to leave for the venue till 7:30. Be fast n get
ready...
Aliya picked up her phone n called dhruv, "dhruv where is
nandini's beautician... What do u mean she hasn't arrived I
told her to be here by 5... how can I calm down yr... ohk
send her fast...
Aliya disconnected the call & 15 mins later two girls entered
the room. As they came aliya instructed them about how
she wanted them to get nandini ready. Being a perfectionist
she wanted everything to be perfect. Soon all the others
also got ready.
On the other side at manik's place all the guys were getting
ready as they wanted to meet their partners as soon as
possible. It was 6:30, when dhruliya & cavya reached the
venue to check the last time preparations. They wanted
everything to be the best, afterall it was the Manik
Malhotra's ring ceremony. As hr latr nandini along with
mukti n her family left cabir's place to reach the venue &
manik left his place with cabir. They reached the venue
together & entered hand in hand. They were welcomed by a
loud roar by the crowd. A few mins latr, it was time for the
rings to be exchanged. Manik & nandini stood at the centre,
with fab4, navya, abhi & nandini's family. But before they
got the rings nandini whispered in manik's ears,
Nandini: manik!!!
Manik: yes nandini... say...
Nandini: nyonika maam nhi ayi??
Manik smiled at her and turned towards cabir & said,
Manik: cabir... Any news about nyonika???... will she be
coming???
Cabir: manik... I personally went & handed over the card to
her, she said she'll come but I don't knw why she isn't here
yet.
Manik: chal thik h...
Manik again turned towards nandini n said,
Manik: she told cabir that she'll come... Let's wait another 5
mins & then we'll start.
Nandini smiled at him and agreed 2 mins later nyonika
entered the hall. Manik was talking to dhruv & thus didn't
notice. Nandini held his hand & told him about her presence.
Nyonika stared at the couple in a blank expression. While
nandini smiled on seeing her. Manik turned towards nandini
& was smiling seeing her smile. Just then mukti noticed
nyonika n said,
Mukti: what the hell is she doing here.. Who invited her??
She was about to go towards nyonika when cabir stopped
her said,
Cabir: manik has invited her...
Mukti: what???
Cabir: yes... nandini wanted her to be here...
Mukti calmed down n soon the couple exchanged their
rings. And as manik expected nandini was very happy
seeing the ring he got for her. As soon as the rings were
exchanged amms did some pooja with the two of them.
After that it went on as a normal party. Fab5 introduced
nandini to many VVIP'S of the town. After some time Cabir
came up on the mike & started,
Cabir: and now we have something really special for nandini
frm our one n only manik... so plz every1 give a loud round
of applause for manik malhotra.
Just then manik came from the back with his guitar in his
hands n started

Every1 clapped for manik as he kept on hugging nandini.
Nyonika looked towards them in anger. After sometime
nandini was standing with Rishab n navya when she noticed
nyonika on the other side of the hall. She excused herself &
walked towards her, as she approached nyonika,
Nyonika: congratulations nandini... finally u both r together.
Nandini: thank u very much ma'am... but sorry to say I
really can't guess frm ur tone that u r happy with this or not.
Nyonika: ohh do u really care for that..
Nandini: nah... not at all... and moreover u r no one for
manik... now unlike before, u cannot do anythink to manik...
ur paths are totally different frm ours...
Nyonika: ohk so then tell me one thing... I m sure manik
will never wish to call me for his marriage, so tell me y did u
ask him to call me.
Nandini smiled at her question.
On the other hand manik asked Rishab,
Manik: Rishab... Where is nandini??
Rishab: pata nhi jiju... She was here just now, maybe navya
di knows...
Manik: (to navya) hey where is nandini??
Navya: I don't knw, I was with sameer & kavya...
Manik started looking here n there for nandini... just then
Dhruv spotted her with nyonika. He held manik's hand n
said,
Dhruv: buddy... There she is...
He showed him the place where nandini was standing with
nyonika.
Manik: (full of anger) what the hell is she doing with
nandini...???
Manik stromed towards that place in anger... As he reached
he heard nyonika asking her the reason to call her to the
party. Nandini smiled at her n said,
Nandini: ma'am manik is now not what u made him... He is
totally a new person with a pure soul. It was no need 4 me
to say anything to him. We r staring a new life in a couple of
days & I wanted u to see this new manik... who is mine...
Manik went further close, this time not angry & placed his
hand around nandini's waist. He smiled at nyonika n said,
Manik: hello nyonika... how r u doing??? Hope u r enjoying
the party.
Nyonika stared at him in a shocking expression.
Manik: thank u very much 4 being a part of our happiness...
I hope we'll get to see u on the marriage day as well...
Nyonika: yeah sure...
Manik: so now if u don't mind... Can I plz excuse my to be
wife from here..
Nyonika: off course... she is all ur's after all...
Manik turned with nandini n started walking back.
Nandini: manik just a second...
Nandini again turned towards nyonika & said,
Nandini: though u r not deserving much... but whatever it is
the truth remains that u r his mother... so I wish for his
mother's blessings once...
Nandini bent down n touched nyonika's feet. She smiled at
nyonika & then left with manik.
Manik: thank u nandini...
Nandini: for what???
Manik: 4 the thing which u said to her just before I came
there.
Nandini: it was simply the truth... u don't need to thank me...
They all enjoyed the rest of the party in a grand way. And
soon called the day off..
